Had the day off, decided to visit Evanston for the first time & grab a bite. Never been in the area, Yelp recommended this place. FIRREEEEE!!! So good! Staff were super friendly and helpful with ordering. I got the carnitas burrito with chips and queso, yummy yummy! Open a location in the loop!!! Please!!!

I have now been here four times and while there are some parts that should give it lower stars, I cannot deny that the quality of the food from here, especially as a fast food place. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into with this place. We already have a Chipotle, Taco Bell, Dos Brothers, and Big Wig Taco within two blocks of this place. Do we really need ANOTHER taco place? I would argue YES since this is the best food out of all of them. For a fast food taco place, it has a good sized menu. Its not the novel of a Taco Bell or the four options of a Chipotle, but a good mid level. I also like that they have two sizes of things which is helpful for those who want something like a burrito, but doesn't want to pass out. My new obsession is their $2.50 tacos which many would call "white people tacos". No shame there! This place has the best hard shells in town. Nice and crispy! $2.50 isn't bad for what you get, but I will explain below. I have gotten a burrito from here as well that was pretty awesome. The most underrated part is they serve Breakfast. I did that once and I think its the best of all times to go there. They also have a salsa bar with three banging sauces that I like to combine. I will give extra points to the spice level which my dad, who hate spicy food, can do! I kept it at 5, but I will say that this place is a bit on the expensive side. They do charge more than most, but so far, all their food has been awesome. They are also slightly disorganized, but I think that has more to do with it being new and fast food. Once the food comes, its all good! Lastly, the only other criticism I have is with their rewards which isn't as generous as Chipotle or Taco Bell. Thats more of a corporate problem than what they could do in Evanston. Either way, this is the place you want to visit for some fast food tacos and burritos. Everything is fresh and tasty. I can see this as being a new Evanston favorite.

Who knew this place was here? Not me. I loved the nachos. My husband actually said "the chicken from this place is WAY BETTER than Chipotle", unprompted. I also was kinda nuts about their guacamole & chips. Takeout was ready super fast. Nice price. Going back ASAP. THANK YOU Misters Guzman & Gomez!

I ordered in advance but had a few issues with my order. I tried to talk to employees about what was missing (two drinks) , but the order receipt they had left out a few things I had ordered. I'm not sure if they were just out of it or what. The price I paid online was also different than what I paid online (presumably because I didn't get everything I ordered) but I didn't ever get a refund. I would eat there again, as the food was tasty (and comparable to Chipotle) and prices are affordable.

There are two hundred and fifteen locations in the world. This is the sixth location in the "country and state". I haven't been to the Deerfield location which was the last one to open. I a Breakfast Veggie Spicy Burrito and a couple items. The staff and service are very good.
