Ordered a Turkey sandwich, but it was the slimy processed Turkey. Thought a sandwich business would serve REAL meat. Made the mistake of eating the sandwich and was sick the entire next day. Will never order here again!!

I have not been to Potbelly in awhile . Saw that they have a special: sandwich chips and a drink so I went to enjoy an early dinner. Turkey with Swiss and additional Avocado tasted good. Not as much Avocado I hoped for, but still sandwich was spicy good with all the fixings! Got the key lime cookie to go, yum! Staff was very friendly the second you walked inside. Staff was helpful with any questions about an order. Place has plenty of tables and even has a to go shelf for pick ups. Music playing is a great addition for diners looking for casual atmosphere. I plan to return. I really really like their sandwiches.

This has to be the best Potbelly's I've ever been to. I've visited several times and I'm never disappointed. The staff is always nice and it's always a positive ambiance. From time to time I even catch live musical performers sharing their artistry at the front of the restaurant. I got my favorite Italian sandwich today and they got my order right yet again. Evanston is lucky to have this Potbelly's.

UPDATE 10/2/19: Bumping this down to one star, because I ordered vegetarian mac and cheese for a lunch meeting today (mac + roasted red peppers and hot peppers), and somehow Potbelly's took that to mean "lets smother the entire thing in bacon." (See photos. The label indicates is the correct order: mac + 2 kinds of peppers. Whoever prepped it didn't know what they were doing, and apparently no one else checked their work). So, I sat through a 2 hour lunch meeting without lunch (other than the chips and cookie I fortunately ordered), and then had to reschedule my meeting afterward so I could go pick up real lunch so I'm not starving the rest of the day. This is the second time I've ordered a vegetarian meal and found meat in it. On the plus side, at least this time it was obvious (unlike the last time when I bit into a veggie sandwich and found roast beef hidden inside of it).

From my experience, and the reviews of others, this is a location where you'll get the best service if you come in and order. I like to order via the app and there's always a little something off with my sandwich (i.e. I order extra onions and somehow get no onions at all). Otherwise, the sandwiches are good and my order is usually ready when I get there.

Easy online ordering and pick up process. It was nicely organized. Don't need to have contact with staff. Go in. Pick up food. Exit. Salad still fresh. Sandwich is still good.

I love this potbelly so much! The staff are always so kind and helpful, and the food is delicious. The restaurant is clean and always has plenty of room. Also got a catering order from here once and the manager was so kind and helpful! Highly highly recommend this potbelly for a quick and tasty meal.

I have used this location for several years to feed a camp full of boys - anywhere from 90 to 200+ campers - and a staff of athletes and coaches - twice a week for two weeks each year. The GM, Wendy, is incredible to work with and there have never been any hiccups. This store even hit a home run for us by filling in both camp sessions when another local shop couldn't handle the amount of sandwiches we needed. I am incredibly impressed as is my boss.

I grew up down the block from the original Potbelly's, and, at first, I had mixed feelings about seeing new locations start to pop up. Eventually, though, I've come to love the fact that it's available without losing its original personality or quality. Sandwiches and shakes are still every bit as good as I remember from my youth, and they've added some other great options as well - soup, mac and cheese, salads... These subs are far superior to anything you'll get at Jimmy John's or Subway and feel closer to an actual deli. I have to restrain myself or I'd probably be there at least once a week.
