I came here with a party of 10. Not really a large place, where multiple large parties can fit. With that being said they did an excellent job catering to our party. I had the beef birria tacos. They were crispy and tasty with consume. My wife enjoyed her steak tacos as well. Nothing special about the rice and beans. I would come again!

Ample seating at Cactus Grill with counter ordering. If you dine in, your food will be brought to your table. It also seems like a great takeout place too as service seems to be fairly quick. We ordered a large guacamole. It was definitely a large. I felt like it was never ending (in a good way). I love a chunky guacamole where there's pieces of avocado in it. The chips didn't seem homemade and were on the salty side. I wondered if there was an even hotter sauce or salsa; I didn't ask. There were two salsas brought out to our table - one was green and one was red. Both were good and a bit spicy. The tacos were very sizable. They were $3.75 each. I thought the asada one was very good and came with the classic onions and cilantro. The fish taco was made with tilapia. I wasn't super fond of the chipotle sauce on it but it was still very tasty altogether. Definitely would come back! They had popsicles that I didn't get a chance to try.

Walking distance and never tried this place until now and I'm glad I finally dropped by! They said they revamped the menu so I included pictures of their current menu. The server was very friendly and patient as I stood there mulling over what I wanted to try. I ordered 4 different tacos: carnitas, asada, barbacoa and lengua all with the basic onions and cilantro. You can add additional toppings for 25c each (avocado is an option). They were individually wrapped and hefty with meat. All the flavors were great and the sauces paired well (green was spicy and red was smoky). Personally loved the lengua the most because the meat was so tender. The restaurant itself is clean with a simple layout and lively music and decor. The service was very quick. We ordered in person for takeout and got our order in about 5mins. The menu offers some good sit down meal options with sizzling plates. They also offer catering. And even a variety of fun desserts that I'm excited to try in the future. Highly recommend this place!

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants to visit once a week. They have great tacos, tortas, quesadillas and chilaquiles. I order to take out as well and food never disappoints. I highly recommend!

Always pass this place and never thought to order from them until we woke up hungover and in desperate need of a breakfast burrito at 12:30 pm. They don't have these on the website menu but we called and they very kindly said they could do it! Usually comes with chorizo, but I don't eat meat and so they did it without and then also added fries at my request - I lived in San Diego for years and have had a hard time finding anywhere that will do a "California style" burrito so I was very excited about that. Very nice flaky tortilla, great eggs, and decent salsa. All in all got two very large burritos, side of rice and refried beans for about $9 each. Would definitely go back!
