Unfortunately not great. Ordered through a food delivery service and will not order again. The taco salad was basically all bland rice and barely any lettuce but the real issue was steak quality majorly lacking - so much gritty fat.

Tacabron is one of my favorite TACO PLACES. The food is authentic and delicious. I live near North ave and Harlem and there is no place close to us that has great authentic Mexican food. Today my husband took our daughter to her soccer game and picked up tacos after the game. I know they were super busy because it's May 10th (Mexican Mother's Day). My husband gets home and everyone's order is in there but mine. I call them and they put me on hold. What else could I do? I drove 4 miles back to TACABRON. I have to say the lady taking the orders with the curly hair in the pony tail is a GEM. Very kind and friendly. I told her and she offered me an extra taco for having to go back. The short girl who was working the front was not happy. She must have thought I was lying but I don't know who would drive back 30 minutes later and lie about an order. I always tell everyone how great this place it. Please double check the orders. No one wants to go back for missing food. All that said, thank you to the lady with the curly hair pony tail. You are a classy, gem.

Wow! I had never had birria tacos before so i ordered them from here for delivery one afternoon. I am a fan. This was some of the most delicious food I have ever had. It takes a lot to get me to eat something that is this messy, but this is worth it!

I recently just tried Tacabron. It's a Mexican restaurant in Forest Park right off the Harlem exit of I290. It's a bit off the beaten path, but worth checking out. First, the food is very good. I ordered the chicken burrito, chicken burrito bowl, quesabirria tacos, churros, a lime margarita and a mango margarita. I enjoyed all of the dishes I tried. I particularly liked the quesabirria tacos. The meat tasted very good and it was very cheesy. The consommé for the quesabirria tacos was also good. Of the margaritas, I liked the mango margarita the best. Second, the the service was very good. The restaurant is best described as quick service. You order at the counter, and then they will bring your food. They are very fast at preparing my food and bringing it to me. Third, I liked the atmosphere. It was laid back. There are several wooden benches. I would describe the decor as rustic. In sum, this is a must visit Mexican restaurant.

I ordered a steak burrito & it was bland. $15 for a burrito with no flavor or seasoning whatsoever. Quesadilla was also bad. Not sure what type of cheese they used but it definitely wasn't chihuahua. Needless to say, I will never go back.

They've done a lot of updating. The patio is so cute now and they also have some cocktail options. I got the mango margarita and I saw they had pina colada as well. They also added taquitos to the menu which I love
