Whether it's a beef sandwich, chicken sandwich, hot dog or hamburger this place always gives a good value. The salads are big enough for two people to share. I only wish they could bring back the house made Parmesan Chips. The orders are filled quickly and efficiently. The inside is kept neat and clean.

Love the bright and open atmosphere of this branch! You grab a menu yourself and go up to the cashier to say your order and pay for your food. Order took 5-10 minutes to arrive. It was about $40 for four people. The Italian beef sandwich was dipped, which means it is slightly soaked in the gravy before being served. It was juicy, tender, and flavorful. You can even ask for a side of more gravy if you want more to dip. The margherita and pepperoni pizza were crunchy, The sauce was sweet and a little sour. There could have been more cheese on the pizza, it was just ok. There is a Rainbow Cone Ice Cream stall in the Buona beef restaurant, which makes for a sweet ice cream treat after your meal. Their ice cream is very unique because 5 ice cream flavors (orange sherbet, pistachio, palmer house, strawberry, & chocolate) are stacked on top of each other and are put on a cone and it's huge! The ice cream is not too sweet, which makes it so that you won't get tired of all the different flavors. They mix very well together.

09.11.2025 The Location in Hardwood Heights, IL is always too cold Management always says they can't adjust the temperature. Please fix this. It's cold all the time. Today more so than ever. 4 different customers complaining about how cold it is and we are all playing musical tables trying to find a spot where it doesn't feel so cold . For management not to be able to control the setting is ridiculous. Other businesses accommodate customers why can't Buona Beef do the same!!!

I just ordered a pizza for 699. Its was beef Gardiner. It was probably one of the best I've ever had!

Had a combo, sweet and hot dipped and a dog everything on it. The sausage used in the combo was good, juicy and well seasoned. The beef was good but lacking. Very little meat almost embarrassing how little meat was on the sandwich. Sweet and hot pepper $1.50 up charge and very skimpy. The hot dog had the right look to it however no snap whatsoever, soft dog. The toppings were Chicago style and good. Restaurant was clean and service was good. The other beef chain across the street still a better option for dogs and beef's.

I went in for a scheduled job inter today at 3pm as of my knowledge I have the verification in my phone. When I arrived at the job I was told by the lady in the front that to have a seat and the hiring manager would come see me, when I finally sat down and was waiting the same lady came back out front and told me that she don't have time to see me at the moment that she has more important stuff to worry about. It's sad that I was selected as a candidate for a job assignment at your location and this is the way you business treats people. It's very sad.

I ordered a Italian beef. The cashier asked if I would add cheese or peppers on it. I said no, and I wanted it baptized. It taped to my table and hot peppers on it. I took it back. They brought me the new one. It was dry. I said I wanted it baptized. He took it back and that I finally had what I wanted. Kudos though for Dr Pepper zero.

manny at buona beef needs supervisor training. slow, order wrong and long wait time to correct. when manny brought the right order. he questioned me like i did something wrong, not the cook who could not read order. african american worker had to have manny correct,couldn't she do it. need peter back at this location. was much more busy with !him.
