I really like the sushi here! I come here every now and then, I came for their lunch special for the first time. It's usually not packed, it isn't any of the weekdays or weekends I go. It's very clean, calm atmosphere. I will try to come here more often for their lunch specials.

Came here on a random Saturday night and they do not take reservations however we were lucky to be able to walk in and find a table immediately. This is located in a strip mall so there is a lot of shared parking. However, the strip mall is a full occupancy and parking can be scarce. This is my first visit here and I have to say it was very good considering that it was definitely a modern take at sushi as well as maintaining some of the respect for the traditional parts of the recipe. For example, we did order an udon soup and that was very good. The broth was rich and had flavors beyond just being a unilateral flavor. We ordered a bit of sushi and all were very fun creative combinations. Definitely not traditional and definitely for someone who wants to take a risk and try something new. I would definitely come here for something that is fairly priced affordable good portions and takes a creative modern. Look at sushi in a very unpretentious environment and location.

I came here for an early weeknight dinner. While not especially fancy, the dining area is small and attractive enough with wood trim. Service was good and it was nice to see that the owners have a diverse staff. We ordered hamachi kama, namaste don, and the three musketeers roll to share. The fish was reasonably fresh and the roll was tasty. Unfortunately the kama was disappointing with a fishy taste, probably because it wasn't as fresh before it was grilled. I've had hamachi kama at other places and it's always incredible, but at Nami Sushi it was lousy. I told the waiter but he didn't seem concerned and there was no adjustment on the check. Portion sizes were average and prices were competitive with other sushi restaurants in the area.

Love the various ways sushi is served! It can be so magical, enticing, creative, and or extravagant. I liked this places combination of well-prepared, taste-good sushi, the various options & presentation.

What a fantastic sushi restaurant! My sister and I wanted some last minute sushi for dinner so we opted in for Nami Sushi. It's a relatively small restaurant with parking right in front which is super convenient. There was no one there when we came around 5ish on a Thursday, but there was a ton of consistent online orders plus more people dined in later. Our server was very polite and attentive, as well. The sushi is absolutely amazing. We were blown away by the freshness and noticeable good quality of the sushi rolls. I got the fire dragon roll and a classic avocado & salmon roll. The fire dragon roll was a straight 10/10. Sooo big, fresh, and just delicious (around 12 pieces). The salmon & avocado roll was super fresh and tasty, too. My sister got Chicago crazy roll and the crunchy spicy tuna roll. I had some as well and they were seriously all a 10/10! We got crab Rangoons for an app, too, and also enjoyed them a lot. Everything was reasonably priced especially for a sushi restaurant. Already looking forward on coming back here!

Came at lunch and got some rolls and appetizers. It may be about as good as you expect from a sushi place in a strip mall. Nami Sushi is one of the better places to eat in Harwood Heights. Good prices in fast some of the cheapest. This is about as cheap as it gets for sushi outside of a gas station. After looking up places in this suburb to eat, we chose here. It sure doesn't look like much. This is in a crummy looking strip mall with a lot of empty storefronts. Coming at lunch was a good idea. There's lunch specials. It was $3 for some salads and appetizers. We got the Seaweed Salad. It was simple but good. Lightly seasoned with soy sauce and sesame seeds. It had specials at lunch. We got the modest yet impressive Sweet Potato Tempera Roll Lunch Special. It's about $4.75, which is a good price for a roll around here. There was a nice crunchiness and it was filling for a light lunch. Best to come at lunch to get things cheaper. It has a few specials to choose from. The restaurant is pretty small but there's no need for reservations because it's not busy most times.

We loved this sushi spot! The service was great. It was empty when we got there but they did have a few to go orders. The inside was cute and intimidate. My kids and husband loved everything we ordered. Appetizers were Gyōzas and bacon wrapped asparagus. My son got the Yakisoba, husband got the black California roll, daughter got the spicy jalapeño tuna roll and I got the dynamite roll. Everything was delicious. My hubby does not like raw fish but loved the spicy tuna. He didn't notice that it was raw. I wish we had a sushi place like this in Phoenix. You check this place out! Food was so good,

Sushi was decent. No fresh wasabi or halibut or blk/red snapper. We were a party of 5 & a mandatory 20% tip was added. 1 server for a nearly full restaurant so needless to say he wasn't attentive and we probably wouldn't have left 20% tip. We wouldn't return. Disappointed.

Price was pretty affordable for sushi, especially in a bento box. Sushi was ok. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom and tables were clean.

This family owned business is superb! I have been coming to eat for years and it never disappoints. The seafood is fresh and delicious. The pricing is very reasonable and the place is spotless. Agusto is so attentive and remembers our usual appetizer and greets us by name. By far the best sushi spot in all of Chicagoland. It is a small place but it outranks even the most prestigious sushi spots in the city. Never disappoints.
