Had the oxtails and they were excellent. Side order of yams(very good) and plantains(excellent). Don't know what they were cooked with but wow!! They were so good and sweet. Oxtail was served over a bed of rice and beans that were also tasty. Only reason I didn't give em 5is because they didn't have curry goat and I had my heart set on that before I even walked in.

1st time customer from out of town. The chicken was the worst chicken I ever tasted. It was dry af, seem like it set up there for hours. Should of known it wasn't gone to be good when I was told it would be ready in 10mins. Then when I called to complain, I was told next time I come I would be offered a 10% off. It's not gonna be a next tf!!! Then just left me on hold for bout 25 mins and never came back. If your from out of town just bypass this shity place. Ended up going to JERK VILLA downtown since i was headed back home, great food there!!!

What a Jerk Grill Restaurant in Hillside. I now don't have to drive all the way out South just for some jerk chicken. The Vibes and music makes you feel like your on a Caribbean Island. I ordered the 1/2 white jerk meal 2 sides rice and cabbage. They sold out of the Mac and Cheese. I had to wait awhile for my ordered to be called. They had so may Uber Eat orders. I was going to check my order before I left. But it was sealed up with plastic wrapped and smelled so good. My container was hot and heavy. They give you a nice size portion for your money. My chicken was so juicy and moist. I had the sauce added on the side. It's a bit too spicy for me. Definitely a spot I will be coming back to. FYI. Make sure to place your order ahead of time to avoid the long wait time.

Service was good. Not as long as a wait as they told us it would be. The dining area is casual and small but very clean. It's a decent ambiance, colorful , not a lot of things to look besides your standard regular ads. The food did not blow me away . It wasn't so bad that I wouldn't give it a second chance because I do want to support local. My hope is that what I ordered is not how they usually serve it. I ordered three wings with yams. Yams could've been hotter as well as have a little more seasoning to them, but they were OK. My disappointment came in the chicken wings. The wings had a good taste to them, but that is only based on the small part of them I could actually eat. They were small, dry, and burnt really. I wouldn't really call this authentic jerk. It was very jerk like. My husband did say that his half chicken mixed was good so that's promising. Mac & cheese was good rice and peas with moist and flavorful and the jerk catfish and decent as well it was not dry. Overall, like I said they weren't so bad that I wouldn't give them a second try I'm all about supporting locals, so I definitely will give them a second try but my hope is that they kind of ease up over cooking chicken, especially the wings. Next time I'll try some other things and hope that today was just a fluke.

Very clean and located in a nice area The service was great, however the 30min wait time left something to be desired. Excellent portions and the food was hot. However, the jerk chicken authenticity was missing given a subtle propane taste. The oxtail was well seasoned and the assortment of beans in the rice was a great touch. The plantains were soft and sweet. Overall, would recommend!

This place just opened, I went in and they were very friendly. I tried calling before I went in to place my order ahead of time so I could just pick up, but they don't have a phone number on their website, so I had to go in and wait about 15 minutes for my food. I got the jerk chicken meal which comes with rice and two sides- I got yams and mac and cheese. Everything was tasty, the jerk seasoning wasn't too spicy but had a kick to it. I feel like they could've given me a little more yams and mac and cheese since it wasn't a cheap meal. There is a limited amount of seating, but enough for a small group, not large groups. I would definitely recommend and go back again.

I saw sweet potato on menu as no ask if it was like canned yams she quickly responded "oh no". That was a lie, the sweet potatoes were actually canned potato's and disgusting. Fried plantains had black things which appears they fried plantains in same oil from chicken. The chicken rolls were super greasy. Awful food and will not be appreciated by any Caribbeans.
