We've been loyal customers for over 20 years, dining often on quiet Tuesday early evenings. The food and service have alway been enjoyable, and we've appreciated the relaxed setting. At our last visit, we were surprised to see $10 corkage fee (though the menu clearly states $5), despite only bringing one bottle. When we politely asked about it, we were told the increase was because we had "stayed a long time" - despite the restaurant being mostly empty. We asked to speak with management, but our request was denied. We're sharing this in the hope of more consistent and transparent policies moving forward. We've long enjoyed our neighborhood restaurant and would love to have felt welcome.

Haha! Where do I start? What a journey of the jade dragon has been must I say. It can be pretty hit or miss, the food is good for the most part but the rice often times can/will be subpar. Service is 4.95/10 they don't have many employees but they make do.

Got carryout on December 23rd. Everybody had the same idea; it was very crowded. The food was great, as always, but that is not the reason for the review. There was a young girl working the front counter; I did not catch her name. She was amazing. She was taking orders over the phone, waiting on carryout customers, keeping management informed how long people were waiting, and doing it all with lightning speed and extreme efficiency. It was a pleasure to watch her work. It is so refreshing to see that kind of work ethic is today's young people. Great job young lady. And to the management; she deserves a raise.

Rude . Food was terrible. I've never had an egg-roll that I didn't like . Beef chewy . Chicken dry . Fried rice was like a wet consistency. What a waste ! How does this place stay in business? Everything tasted like it was frozen .

Another of these better than expected Chinese places in a suburb without any other places to go besides it. If you like some fairly good food for cheap prices then come here at lunch. Jade Dragon may be the only place in Hinsdale to get Chinese but it's not bad overall. Certainly it's better than it appears. The food comes out pretty fast and has some decent flavor. Came here for lunch recently and ate inside. I thought it looked kind of lame inside, because it looked a lot like a small town cafe more than a Chinese restaurant. This shows you can't judge completely before getting served. It turned out to not be that bad. They give you free tea. We chose to each share the Spicy Fresh Tofu. It's $9.75 for the only portion, the large. The tofu isn't the firm kind we liked but it was still good flavor and spicy. Big portion for what it costs. If around we could come back here. This isn't anything unlike other Chinese places but if you're around it's okay for lunch and takeout.

This place was garbage. Beef w/peapod - meat was a gray color General's Chicken - soupy watery sauce that did not adhere to the chicken. Kinda had an eggy batter too. Blech. Shrimp Fried Rice - had peas and carrots in it. My kid said it was exactly like the fried rice at his high school lunch. It's like pre frozen mix tossed with shrimp. Only reason they are getting one star is because the egg roll were delicious. Had that subtle peanut butter taste. Can't believe this place stays open in Hinsdale. One of the few Chinese places left that has dine in. Sad.
