This was our first time here to order some Italian sandwiches. While we were waiting for our sandwiches to be prepared I noticed that other customers who arrived after us were picking up their sandwiches before our's were prepared. I inquired so finally they prepared our sandwiches. I enjoyed my half of a Grande Brando with capicola. hot calabrese, moriaciella, salami, coppa, provolone cheese, sliced tomato, calabrian chilli aioli, mild giardiniera on toscanino torpedo bread for $17. I also ordered a side of hot peppers for my Brando. The hot peppers were not so hot because they were mixed with other peppers. The Grande Tarantino with roasted turkey breast also was $17. My total bill was $43 including gratuity, which I previously agreed prior to my actual sandwich receipt. So much for the usual advanced gratuity selection. Gratuities should be granted after the entire service is completed. Also after you had a chance to enjoy your food, however you can't do that in the case of take out service. Service here was slow, since at least two other customers who ordered after us received their sandwiches before our order arrived. My Italian sandwich was good, but service here was slow. Because of the slow service I only rated this place 3 stars. If the speed of service was normal I would have rated this place 4 stars. I am not sure if I will return here again. Next we have to stop to buy some snacks and alcohol for our vacation to Petoskey, Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. More to come regarding my other upcoming reviews in Michigan.

When I went to Pronto on a whim, little did I know that I would get the best sandwich of my life!! I wound up getting the Scorsese sandwich and I cannot be emphatic enough as to how AMAZING it was! I loved the bread, mortadella, burrata, pistachio spread, and hot honey! All of the flavors came together sooo perfectly! Even though I got the regular sandwich, it lasted me two days. PERFECTION!!! I can't wait to go back!

This is such a nice space. We ordered three sandwiches, the turkey kids sandwich was huge it was very fresh and delicious. The Pacino which was very light in flavor and again so fresh. The Coppola with the amazing vodka sauce is the winner for me. We ordered at the bar and they packed everything up and called us when our order was up. I am not sure if this will be the standard for the service and it was convenient in case you need to leave right away and had leftovers. Which we had the kids sandwich left over so we just packed it up to take with us. We will hopefully be back more as summer progresses and take our sandwiches to a park.

Sandwich shop in the front and Speakeasy in the back. Costs of the speakeasy not included in the prices but it sure feels like it. Courteous folks, fast service and good food kind of makes up for the price gaging, but that might be the Hinsdale tax. I ordered the Coppola and the special of the day, which was the meatball sub. Doesn't special of the day really mean whatever they have extra of let's call it a special so we can get rid of it? Anyways the meatball was decent so I can't complain, except for the price $17. The Coppola, aka chicken parm, was good but $17 good? If the prices were lower I would recommend this place but I can't because of the costs.

Through catering and stopping here for lunches, I've tried all of the sandwiches. I can confidently say they're all good quality and there's 5-6 sandwiches that I rotate between. Hard to pick a favorite but the Brando, Loren and Tarantino are elite. Very friendly staff as well!

Catering was magnificent! I catered Pronto for a Christmas Eve lunch with family. We got the smaller sandwich box (6 sandwiches cut in half for 12 total servings) and the chopped salad. Just right. The sandwiches are a gourmet quality making them perfect for a catered event/holiday. Each sandwich build is artfully designed with top notch ingredients. Great bread, great spreads. And the chopped salad exceeded expectations. High quality olives, salami, cheeses. Large portions of artichoke. Firm avocado. Along with a homemade pasta salad and a couple bottles of Italian soda and wines, this made a perfect lunch. The catering manager was super helpful. I highly recommend going this route for a no-fuss party spread that satisfies and impresses.

We've been trying to come here for a long time, and we finally made it. We got the Tarantino sandwich. I kind of wish they would toast the bread, I wonder if that's an option. I feel like it would taste much better. Overall it was delicious. Ordering was easy over the phone. The inside looks really nice, I'd like to come back and sit inside one time.

Stopped in for a light lunch. We were excited about the choices of bread and meat. We split a sandwich which came with a bag of chips. It was a decent sandwich. Great service. This place is a dining restaurant at night so we were able to sit and eat- in a no frills fashion. All orders are made to order and prepped to go. Although our bread appeared to have been sliced and lightly toasted, it was a cold sandwich- like out of the refrigerator cold. Overall. I recommend and would try again when in the area and would ask if they had a sandwich with warm bread.

Tasty Sandwiches Worth the Wait We stopped by Pronto Sandwiches in Hinsdale and tried the Copala (a chicken parm-style sandwich) and the Scorsese (stacked with mortadella and pistachio). Both were flavorful and fresh -- hearty, creative, and satisfying. Prices are on the higher side, but given the quality of ingredients and thoughtful combos, it makes sense. The shop was busy, likely due to the holiday, so we waited around 25 minutes, but the staff was upbeat and working hard to keep orders moving. The place felt spacious even though it was packed and the decor was fun! Despite the rush, the energy was friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving something bold between bread.

Wow, that's all I can say is wow! What a concept, you have a beautiful restaurant that does not open for lunch, let's serve amazing sandwiches al let people eat in a five star restaurant for casual brown bag style lunch!! I have been searching for a high quality sandwich option, this is it! Go try this place you will not be disappointed! $15 a sandwich, well worth it.
