We went in with our family and a few friends for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint! Atmosphere is top notch and so is the staff, especially the manager Mike. Great food, great drinks and great staff! Can't wait to go back.

The pizza was amazing! And it was not to light and not to heavy. The service was amazing and everyone was so nice, friendly, and polite. Inside it was beautiful and BIG! I loved it. Also the AC wasn't too hot or cold it was just right. I definitely recommend coming here for pizza and salads it the perfect place to come.

Not pictured but the fig jam pizza is amazing!! My favorite pizza here. The fig jam is made in house and it really shines. The friend polenta with shrimp was delicious but I think adding a hit of spice would make it a 10/10 for me. But I would still order again since it's still super solid. The angel hair pasta was solid. I don't usually like this style of pasta but ordered it because my wife wanted it. I was pleasantly surprised by this! The drinks are also very well made and delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The decor and vibes are fantastic as well and can see the dedication from the owners in every inch of this place.

Wooden Paddle LaGrange is the same great food and small town ambience as the Lemont location. But it's so much more. There is an entire upstairs party room perfect for a wedding. The food is tasty and the drinks are great. Street parking or the free LaGrange lots.

My mom has been bugging to post this review, well here it is! She's an older lady. My mom has been to Wooden Paddle twice now, The first time, about a month ago, she sat at the bar and was helped by a young man, the service was not great, and she left feeling disappointed. About a week ago? she decided to give it another try. This time, a young lady with glasses took care of her at the bar, and the difference was night and day. My mom mentioned her last visit, and the bartender( young lady) immediately apologized. She took the time to go through the menu with my mom, who has certain dietary needs, and even double-checked with the chef to make sure everything was okay for her to eat. My mom said she felt cared for and really appreciated the effort and attention. She told me it was the best service she's had in a while, and it made her feel comfortable enough to come back again.

I had never heard of Wooden Paddle until recently, and was curious to check it out. I met up with a friend for a late lunch. We got to the restaurant around 2pm, so not many people were there. First off, upon entering, I was very surprised to walk into sophisticated and classy atmosphere. I did not know what to expect, but definitely not that! It was so cozy and clean as well. My friend and I both ordered caesar salads and caramel espresso martinis. I also ordered an entire pizza for myself (ate a few slices there and brought the rest home). I asked our waiter which pizza I should order, and he recommended the Buzzkill; calabrian chili peppers, pepperoni, fresh basil, fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, sweet honey. The pizza blew my mind. When I first saw it, I thought it looked like a typical pepperoni pizza, maybe slightly elevated. However, once I took my bite I was in awe. The combination of the spicy calabrian chili peppers, sweet honey, and the saltiness of the pepperoni was phenomenal! My friend and I both enjoyed our caesar salads. I opted to add grilled chicken to mine and it was very flavorful and well cooked. The roasted garlic breadcrumbs elevated the salad even further. The star of the show was the caramel espresso martinis! They were SO good that we each ordered a second one. Very strong, but not overly sweet from the caramel. Wooden Paddle is a classy and cozy place where you can enjoy food with family, friends, or a date. I will definitely be back!

What a beautiful space! Wooden Paddle LaGrange is a totally different vibe than their location in Lemont. This space is sexier, more sophisticated, and upscale. My husband and I visited and sat at the bar. I ordered the Moonmilk as recommended by the bartender. The color was not what I was expecting. The taste was subtle and more acidic than the description read but it was good and balanced. I also ordered their Goat Cheese Arancini. It came with four large balls with a dollop of sauce on top of each. They were perfectly crispy and savory. I did notice while visiting that their menu changes seasonally. They had less pastas than I remembered and some of our favorite items were no longer being served. I recommend previewing the menu online before visiting to ensure they have what you want.

There were always people waiting outside of this restaurant every time I went to the Mexican restaurant across the street. I was curious why it was that busy so I made reservations online for a Saturday night. We were seated promptly as we walked in for our reservation. We were seated at a table near the bar and I think that it was a better area. The rest of the dining area was very busy and loud. I like the interior and vibe of the restaurant. Our server was attentive and friendly. For this visit, I tried: POLENTA SHRIMP POPS- these were good THE BEST DUCKIN' RAGU- the pasta and duck were cooked well but the whole dish did not have any flavor. It was very bland. BLACKBERRY-MERLOT SHORT RIB- the meat was SUPER dry. I tried eating it together with the puree and the whipped ricotta but the meat was just too dry to chew. BUTTER CAKE- we were given this as a complimentary treat because we were celebrating an event. Unfortunately, the cake was BURNT. The dark (black) brown exterior of the cake speaks for itself. Overall, the place has a lively vibe and clean restrooms. The restrooms are downstairs, past the main dining area. The drinks were ok. The food? I don't think I'll be running back to eat here again, but maybe I'll try their pizza if I do come back.

Visited this location for a sponsored event but stayed to enjoy a cocktail. I tried the Fire & Ice cocktail which is traditionally made with Mezcal. I asked that they substitute this for a blanco tequila. I enjoyed my cocktail but wanted to more spice. The FIRE & ICE was made with passionfruit liqueur, fresh lime juice, simple syrup habanero bitters, fresh basil. On this occasion, I also got to try the Grandma's pie. The GRANDMA'S PIE Sweet was made tavern-style tomato sauce, provolone, fresh mozz, freshly grated parm, basil chiffonade. I would order this again as the tomato sauce was complex. Excited to come back and check out the brunch offerings. All the cocktails seemed to have cutesy names and thoughtful presentation. Definitely have the Ube Mai Tai on my radar for summer.
