Louisiana Fast? More like Louisiana Ass. These guys BARELY avoided a complete downgrade from me (5* to 1*), but the 2.5 star average seems to be right on the money. Popeye's gets my continued business because--among other things--they carry sweet tea, mac'n'cheese, mashed potatoes with cajun gravy, and a bevy of tasty and unique dipping sauces. The habenero ranch and 'sweet heat' sauces are Popeye's exclusives and are ideal for fans of dipping sauces with a little kick to them, quite honestly some of the better ones out there. Unfortunately, they've managed to mess up 3 out of my last 5 drive-thru orders, and on a recent dine-in visit, it took an unnaturally long time for my order to come out. I felt daring, so I tried the 'pull'n chicken' which came out looking a lot like a fried human hand. Although there was a pseudo-chicken body, the tenders sticking out of it were gimmicky and unnatural. On top of that, I waited no less than 15 minutes for what I thought was fast food......yikes. To make matters worse, the cashier girl had great difficulty in processing a straightforward order, so her manager took over. A short while later, some other customers came forward and said that their orders were rung up wrong, so evidently I wasn't the only one noticing problems. It was a surprisingly disorganized clusterf*ck for a pretty simple operation. Fun and quirky sauces can't save you now, Popeye. Yar har har.

I've always gone to this location and typically received fresh hot food. Decent quick service too. On my last 3 visits my food has been old, cold, and disgusting! Like I wouldn't serve the food they made me pay for to dog. This is unacceptable! I won't be returning, you should think twice about eating from here as well!

I've been going to this Popeye's location for as long as I can remember. The service was decent despite it being busy all of the time. The food is fresh for the most part, but I always tell them to get my chicken from the back. I preferred this location over the Maywood location...until recently. On Tuesdays they have a special, 2 pieces and a side for $5. Add a drink for a dollar more. So I brought 3 of them for my family. After I get my order, I go to the dining room to check my food before I go to make sure my order is right. As I was checking my food, I saw something moving from my peripheral in the corner of my eye. When I looked up, there was a big cockroach (the same color as the chicken) crawling on the table across from me! I was totally disgusted. Every time I drive past there, I can't help but to think about that roach I saw on the table. And then the audacity for the roach to be the same color as the chicken too?! What if that roach crawled in the chicken? If I saw 1 roach, I'm sure there's a thousand more that I haven't seen! I told my husband about it and he was appalled. So there's no need to ask that million dollar question because we will never step foot in this restaurant ever again!

we've ordered thro GrubHub and they never get the order right. if I ordered sweet tea I got plain tea. when i ordered meals they would forget the drink. Employees are inept and dont read the orders. not grubhubs fault. get your sh** together people!!! and act like you care cuz you don't!!!

Oh boy!... where do I start? Me and my wife came to this location because it was on the way, en route to our home. We generally love Popeyes and never really had a terrible experience until we came here. We place a mobile order, although mobile orders cost more than just ordering in the store, thinking it would be quicker. It was the exact opposite. We waited 45minutes for 8 pieces of chicken. The priority is the drive thru - - I GET IT... but there was almost no one focused on the people in the store. The manager was taking orders. She was rude. Never excused herself, never apologized to ANYONE for the long wait, and she actually forgot to make someone's order. She even avoided eye contact and keep fidgeting with receipts while someone was asking about the wait time. She even stopped at some point to argue with another employee over "reading the order number" correctly. She had no consideration for the mobile or food delivery orders. The workers WERE working BUT mostly, if not entirely, on the drive thru orders. Every once in a while someone would take an order from the customers waiting inside. I would never return to this location, for any reason. No recommendations, nothing. Even when we finally got the food and made it home, we never finished our meal. The chicken looked good but it did not smell right. Either slightly undercooked (because they were rushing to get orders out) OR it was not fresh because they cooked it. I typically don't complain about franchise restaurants, or even spend time writing reviews because some things you just accept as the "norm" because of the establishment but this was probably the worst experience I've had a fast-food restaurant in many years.

this place has slid downhill! every time I get food there it's either wrong order or they leave something out EVERY time, I wont be going there anymore, I hate to say it but it's the truth.

This place is an absolute mess. From the cranky manager lady to the most incompetent workers ever. I'm never this critical about anything but there was really something about this place that set me off. Got in line to order and they said wait 20 mins. So I wait 20 mins and this is the chicken I receive. Burnt to sh*t , dryer than the Sahara desert, and saltier than the Atlantic Ocean. The worst part about it all is the old manager woman. She's the most rude and unprofessional person I've ever encountered. Two old ladies eating there asked for sauce and she got all mad and cranky at them for no reason. Unbelievable! If you enjoy horrible service and equally horrible food, then this is the place to go.

This is the worst restaurant in history. I went in and ordered then to the restroom. The lock locked but the door knob was broken. I was locked in the bathroom and kicked and yelled to get out. No response... I finally called and asked them to let me out. They remotely opened it. How does that happen? I asked how that was possible? They said I should have used the other one...WTF?

I'll never give this Popeyes my business ever again. Placed an order online via Grubhub for my dinner and I was informed of a 10-20 min wait. The time did change slightly but when I got to the window I was told to pull to the front of the restaurant and someone would come out with my order. A lady did come out to confirm my order and later she says that they never received an order from Grubhub despite me showing her the app and the order I placed. Since I was on a lunch break I ended up back to work pissed and slightly hungry. I've been here before and they do charge for extra condiments and the time I went beforehand I got a chicken sandwich with just an overcooked chicken in the sandwich. This recent event was the last straw.
