I attended a fundraising event for The Harbour at Chateau Ritz in Niles. Nestled among the strip malls and chain restaurants, the Chateau Ritz sits back off the street and has a lot of parking. The theme of the evening was a casino night. The decor of Chateau Ritz is glam, over the top, a little outdated, but totally appropriate for a fundraising event. The room was spacious with plenty of space for the tables, auction tables, casino tables, stage, etc. The hot hors d'oeuvres were served hot, basic but good tasting, there was an attractive array of desserts, staff was efficient in clearing plates, replenishing the buffet and helping with AV needs. The bartenders were great. The bathrooms were clean, and stocked. The guests were having a great time and the setting of Chateau Ritz helped to enhance that. We did notice when we arrived for the event that there were a few people hanging around the parking lot (not guests). When we left for the evening, a person was walking through the lot, talking to people (talking to himself?) and moving between the cars.

Chateau Ritz was the perfect Prom venue. They were very professional and easy to work with. All of staff were extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable. It felt like they were equally invested in creating a safe and beautiful evening for my students as I was. I could not recommend them enough!

It's your average banquet hall but the lobby is kind of pretty which is good for photo ops. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The food is underwhelming. It wouldn't be my first place to point towards People to but it wouldn't be an absolute no either.

Good venue to have a wedding at. Pretty decor inside, and good service provided by the waitstaff. This is your standard banquet hall, with what seemed like 3 total halls that can host 3 different parties at once. This is exactly what happened when I came here for a wedding last weekend. There were 3 weddings and the lobby was packed a little before 6 pm as no one could enter the banquet halls as they were still getting prepared. I didn't like this too much as it was too crowded, and after everyone was able to settle into their rightful rooms with the correct party, you can still hear the music blasting from the other rooms. But if you don't mind that then you have nothing to worry about. The food was decent enough but not spectacular. I had some type of chicken that had a weird taste and I could quite figure out what it was flavored with. The mashed potatoes were good, as was the vanilla ice cream dessert. Open bar was awesome, and the bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. The bride had a private room, but it was literally a cleaning closet that they stuck her in. Not sure what was going on with that or if they only had 2 bridal suites that were already taken up by the 2 other wedding parties there at the same time as us. If I was the bride that would have brought out the bridezilla in me. But that's just me. In conclusion, like I said, this is your standard wedding venue. It works if you're not looking for all the fancy frills that others out there offer.

If you're going for looks, yes the place is nice for a wedding but one thing that really stood out was that if you chose the smaller venue prepare to hear next doors venue music and noise all night. It was kind of awkward that we could hear the whole party next door as if that room was not the slightest bit sound proof.

At the Seif Nabil concert, 3/6/2020, venu was horrible. Worst I have been at ! The singers were fine . But starting with VIP section was horrible it you were not on first three tables. It was a scam. When asked to move to cheaper tables managers were no help. Food was horrible , old rice soup. Rotten lettuce and cucumbers on salad. When asked walked in not a good setup. While signing lights were in your eyes you can hardly see. Security guard acted like he was president with 10 people surrounding him throughout whole concert and you can hardly see anything because of security guard blocking view. Never again! I would give negative stars if possible . $225 a seat down the drain. Pic below , you can barley see his face.

This venue is nice and more affordable than other venues in the Chicago area but none of their food is good. The salads are mostly big chunks of ice berg lettuce, the soup was bland, the main entree wasn't memorable, and their desserts were dry/flakey. They could definitely improve.

Let us start off by saying that Claudia and her staff are amazing. They went above and beyond with their service, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. From the moment we first walked into the Chateau Ritz, Claudia was very welcoming and answered any questions that we had. We knew from the moment we walked out on our first visit that this would be our venue. After putting down our deposit, we made a number of other visits to the venue throughout the year, and each time Claudia and her staff welcomed us with open arms, answered our questions, and even let us walk around the rooms as other events were going through their preparations. It definitely helped us as we tried to visualize our own wedding layout. The hall itself is beautiful, and quite affordable considering all of its amenities. It has a solid marble dance floor, sturdy tables/chairs, and gorgeous chandeliers. Even if you go with half of the room, it is quite spacious: fits up to 300 guests comfortably. There is plenty of parking space, and they allow you to leave your car overnight as long you let them know beforehand. During our research on food reviews, we had read and heard from others that the food was delicious - indeed it was. The Chicken Chateau was amazing, and our vegetarian guests loved the lasagna. On the day of our wedding, Claudia was very happy to see us, and reassured us that everything was being taken care of. As you might expect, not everything goes according to plan at weddings, but Claudia and her staff truly looked out for us and accommodated us when something didn't go as planned. The staff was very courteous and welcoming. One member of the wait staff even stayed late to set up and manage our late night snack table. At the end of the night, Claudia allowed us to wait at the hall while we waited for our delayed shuttle buses to take us to our hotel. They were even nice enough to collect anything that was left behind and store it in their office - we picked everything up the next day. Truly exceptional service. We loved our experience at the Chateau Ritz and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it - 110%. -Stephanie & Chris

We had our fairytale wedding here in August 2018 and the team at Chateau Ritz made all of our dreams come true--and then some! I don't think we could have had everything go so smoothly the entire process if it wasn't for the AMAZING staff. A HUGE thank you to Claudia, Mike, Jim, and Nick because they are the rockstars that made our night so perfect. They were incredible in helping with planning and organizing, especially during such a stressful time for a bride/groom. They think of every single thing you need, and are EXTREMELY generous! They have an answer/solution to every question/problem that came up. This is my family's second wedding here and I recommend it to anyone who is planning on getting married. All of my guests couldn't stop raving about how the food was better than any hall/wedding they have attended as well as how beautiful the hall itself is. The chandeliers really steal the show because they are stunning and make for excellent pictures (in addition to the gorgeous spiral stairs and front lobby). The bridal suite is perfect for weddings and it was so nice to be able to put all of our things there/do touch ups without a million people there with you. The waitstaff is also great and very quick/attentive. The prices are also excellent and you get SO much for what you pay for, VERY worth it. Our wedding night was absolutely perfect and Chateau Ritz made it a night to remember.
