This is long overdue, my updated review. Chicken Ati-Atihan was my go to before they moved to this new location and I like this place even more because they're even closer to my casa. I do enjoy the friendly greetings and service and my favorites remain - the lumpia, caldareta, nilaga (beef) soup, and the halo-halo ice cream dessert!! It's byob and make a reservation if you have a large group and pre-order if you can. This will make things more efficient, as good food takes time to prepare. :)

One thing that really stood out was the service. The entire staff works as a team, so you're never stuck waiting on just one server. Everyone is attentive and friendly, which creates a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely great value for money. Highly recommend Ati-Atihan if you want an authentic Filipino dining experience with great service and affordable prices!

Chicken Ati-Atihan is Home of Filipino Food from their Calamansi juice to their Pancit (Filipino noodles) to their Lumpia Shanghai (Beef Crunchy Eggrolls). The Service here was amazing where the ambiance felt like I was back at home eating at my Filipino grandmother's place. They do a great job with Halo-Halo, which shaved iced filled with yam, red beans, corn, jackfruit, gelantin, and Ube Ice Cream. They have no relocated from Morton Grove down to Niles and the Niles location is even bigger. Highly recommend this place to eat with your loved one or big families craving authentic Filipino Cuisine.

Was looking for a spot to eat with my parents and Ati-Atihan is huge and has plenty of parking for larger parties. There was also a stage so looks like they also have live music performances. We ordered a little bit of everything and were so full with even some leftovers to take home. The sisig and pocherong bisaya were my stand outs. The soup was so good! However, the sinigang I think was a little bland. Portion sizes were great, the halo halo was regular size but we actually shared one. Not sure if they were busy that day with a party but the service was a bit slow and food took a bit to come out. Staff was still very friendly and attentive.

I had their bbq combo. Food was flavorful. You do need to place an order over the phone first before coming in to dine in or else risk waiting for a while for the food to be ready. Parking is ample so that's a plus!

Delicious food! We had a party of 16 and our table was ready when we arrived make sure to order ahead. Plenty of parking in the front of store and overflow parking on the side. Only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because it took a while for all of our food to come out. Some of our guests have finished their meals while others were still waiting to get their food.

The food was alright, and it was expensive and far out of the city to be worth the drive. I did enjoy the sinigang but the broth was really fatty, and the sisig was just not very good. The lumpia was the best part and that's not a good thing.

Chicken Inasal tastes good, although I remember a much better portion for the price. The large crispy pata seems to go out of stock pretty often. We also had soup that was sooo salty. All they did is added more water. Also for a country that the staple is rice, the rice they serve in the restaurant is not very edible or tasty. Service is good though they can improve a bit. Ambiance is ok, but those tables are very sticky. Those faux plastic bamboo looking plates.... Yuck

Right at the border of Chicago and Niles is where this charming restaurant is. A total breeze to get to and the murals on the walls are very cool. This is a very casual place for everyone, Filipino or not. The menu is easy to understand. I wish they had more selections (maybe a lechon kawali kare kare or Filipino breakfast but I do understand they are just trying to see what works but I would have liked more variety. We had the chicken fried rice and that was decent but I am very curious to try the mango bagoong (shrimp paste) fried rice. The bistek (steak and onions) was different than I am used to but still very good. The lechon kawali was delicious and crispy. The chicken inasal was so flavorful and juicy- would 100% get that every single time I come here. They have live music on Saturdays. Service is as delightful through and through. They have lot parking.

Not much to tell you. Walked in and was told they are too busy to seat us and that we needed a reservation. The the reason for my low stars is because nowhere on their website does it mention the need for a reservation and afterwards I checked their website to find the only way to make a reservation was via phone call which is also very inconvenient. I is a nice looking restaurant and appeared to have a great atmosphere. I will eventually go back and hopefully can update this review.
