I was super excited to try this place but honestly was disappointed. I love jjajangmyeon but this place was a huge let down it was very bland and would not come back for this. The sweet and sour chicken was okay but nothing special.

Food is cheap but you get what you pay for. The jja jang mien is weird taste with so much starch that it's thick. The tang soo yook was cold when I got it. Food court plus thumbs up, food taste thumbs down. Never again...

KyoDong offers everything you want from a food stall inside an Asian Market. Fairly specific menu, great prices, and fast service. They serve Korean noodles, some fried rice, and sweet/sour pork. That's it. Prices. I find the other stalls here are expensive (slightly above restaurant prices for less ambiance, etc). KyoDong is much more reasonable, you can get a large bowl for $6, or a combo thing for $12. There's also free tea, kimchi, pickled radish, and raw onions. I have no idea why they love the raw onions, but they are there. Service: Noodles are probably a pretty easy business, I assume they have some noods ready to cook and a giant pot of sauce. Order up and it's ready in under 5 minutes. Tastewise, it's pretty good. I put it above Paik's Noodles and on par with Great Beijing or Great Seas. My only regret is the claim to not do takeout orders. Maybe you can bring your own container.

Got take out which may have been part of the problem. Ordered sweet and sour pork, black bean noodles and shrimp fried rice. The pork dish was neither sweet or sour and frankly because of how heavily battered it was, we couldn't tell if the meat was pork or chicken. The meat inside each piece is so small that it's hard to tell. The only thing fresh in that dish were the sliced cucumbers and carrots. The noodles were the best of the bunch although had a slight bitter aftertaste in the sauce. At least the meat and vegetables were recognizable. The shrimp fried rice had the requisite taste but was overly oily and the rice all stuck together. Maybe added the egg to a cold fry pan? All of this for $42. Couldn't recall why we hadn't ordered from here before and now I definitely know why.

this place is a joke. please read the reviews before going. the lady there is very impolite and not scared to show it to the customers as well. she is also very PETTY. if you're Korean, don't speak Korean because if she knows you speak and and happens to be or look younger, her mannerisms change and acts like she's superior. she takes the order wrong and still has a lot of say when it's brought up. she's also very childish when handling anything negative so just AVOID THIS PLACE ALTOGETHER. not the same owner as before btw. as for the food, very bland. noodles (jjambbong) barely had soup, literally 5 pieces of tangsooyook LOL and the shrimp in the fried rice didn't look fresh. it's a cheap place but I still paid money for food playdough. again, this place is a complete joke! Hahahhahaha
