Korean fried chicken is so delicious here! I have tried one other place. It was good but it is sooo good here. They offer full and half orders. Which is a nice option then you can try a few options. We went a few hours after lunch and it was nice that the lunch rush was done. Even though it was Saturday we've seen the food court is crazy busy. We tried the mild versions as my niece loves chicken wings and she was with us. We ordered 2 half orders to try. It was worth it. We didn't have leftovers and leaving 1 or 2 pieces was worth it. We ordered the fried chicken and the sweet and mild wings. They both had a nice crunchy layer of breading. Not overly breaded so each bite had a bit of crunch. The fried chicken was good but had a couple drumettes was a bit over cooked which made it dry. Still very good and will eat it again. The sweet and mild wings had a nice sweet sauce that kept the wings moist and still crunchy. The sweetness was not overpowering but just right. I'll be back to try the hot wings. It's nice they offer boneless wings so for those times you don't want to have sticky fingers it's an option. They had other things but we didn't know what they were. We just wanted the wings. We'll be back!!!

Noori is located inside the Assi Supermarket and also known as Doorae chicken (some name of that sort). They offer wings and boneless chicken in a few sauces. I ordered a full-sized boneless sweet and mild chicken. After tax, it totaled to be about $20. It takes about 25 minutes for them to complete the order, so do use that time to shop around. The chicken is fried well and the sauce is absolutely delicious! It was sweet and mild, just as the name suggests. Though it tastes amazing, my boyfriend and I couldn't finish the entire thing and got bored of the flavor after eating half. With that said, I would recommend ordering two different flavors. A couple of pieces were too tough and hard, but overall, I'd come back if I had another craving for KFC -- Korean fried chicken, that is.

Koreans know how to make fried chicken. Noori is located in the Assi Plaza Food Court, and they know how to make that chicken right! It takes a while for your order to be made, but what you get will take you to a very happy place. The sweet and mild chicken is the showcase for Noori, and it can be ordered in half or full quantities. The sauce makes this chicken! I'll have to order the soy garlic chicken next time. Another great thing to order here is the Bungeoppang (Japanese call it Taiyaki). It's a hot fish shaped pastry with red bean filling and it's delicious! It also takes a while to make, but it's one of my favorite Korean treats. I always share one with my wife, so give it a try! Just in case you're lost trying to figure out where this is, look for the Doore Hoodo Doore Fried Chicken sign above the establishment. It's the only fried chicken place in the food court.

As soon as I took my first bite, I knew I discovered something special. I already can't wait to go back. I got the #5, the hot and spicy chicken, and it sure delivered! I'd say I have a pretty high tolerance to spicy food, and this made me sweat a little :) not uncomfortable though like the 2x spicy Samyang noodles!! TIP: If you're planning to do some grocery shopping, place your order at Noori first (make a left towards the food court when you go through ASSI's main entrance - it's in the corner close to the checkout lines) because they fry to order and it could take some time. I made the mistake of doing my shopping first, so I had to wait a little over 20 mins. If you think you're going to need more than 20 mins to shop, then maybe place the order halfway, that way the chicken doesn't get soggy. A half order comes with 8 assorted pieces of tender, marinated chicken that's breaded and fried, a side of coleslaw, sauce (I think it's for the coleslaw but I used it for dipping and it was great) and pickled radish. It's priced at $9.99 and $11.11 after tax. Don't be shy to ask for some white rice! I didn't since I already have some at home, but I'm sure a bowl is complimentary. I did carry-out and was a little disappointed that it wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped, then again it took me 15 mins to get home..so maybe it's best when consumed right away. I won't wait that long next time. It was still great though. The chicken was coated in this wonderful garlicky sauce that was so addicting, I couldn't help but lick my fingers. Yes, it's finger-lickin' good -- my kind of KFC!! I was extremely happy with the portion. Definitely worth every penny.

Soy garlic chicken deliciousness... I ordered delivery from here about a week ago, and even though (not their fault) there was issues with the order being picked up by the delivery person, the chicken was still delicious and crispy when it got to my door late. I was worried it would be soggy because the sauce looked quite heavy and goopy, but I was wrong, and even the NEXT day, it was still pretty crispy after being refrigerated. Came with some pickled radish which was great to snack on in between to cut the strong sweet flavors of the sauce. I definitely want to give this chicken another shot, but this time, ideally I'll go there in person so I can have it piping hot!

On my hunt for KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), I was introduced to this little chicken shop hidden inside the Assi Food court. As mentioned multiple times by reviews, the sign may say differently, but if you look harder Noori is on the board. Yes, they have pizza and taiyaki - that fish guy dessert, but THE thing to get is the chicken. I've had both the bone and boneless option. The last couple of times, I got the bone in and the crust is crispy and the meat juicy. Note: you cannot get wings! it's essentially a whole chicken chopped up. The next time I tried the boneless half Soy Garlic and half Sweet and Spicy (it ain't spicy) for $22. Value for this is probably better. It seemed like an endless amounts of chicken as I stuffing myself full. Boneless was a bit drier and it reminded me more of Chinese take out. I will say that as take out, the fried chicken can withstand the box steam test. Impressively, it's still got a good texture after my drive home to Chicago. Whichever size you order, you get a little bowl of slaw and freshly pickled daikon (mu). I also asked for a bowl of rice which is perfect with the saucy chicken.

Phenomenal fried chicken that us crispy and juicy.its dine after you order so its going ti take a while.but its worth the wait.as the saying goes, good thing takes time. In this case it is absolutely true. Moreover, as the chicken is done after you order and is is juicy, it is easy to burn yourself! But its so hard to wait! Half chicken is $10 and while chicken is $17. Either original taste or sweet and spicy or soy garlic.

So fulfilling and satisfying. *smack lips* At the food court, there's a few options, but none better than Noori's fried chicken. I ordered a half order of their spicy and it was thoroughly enjoyed. The perfect balance between sweet, spicy sauce coated some serious crispy chicken. I'm a fan of eating this with rice, so I asked for a bowl. That and some pickled radishes is all I need to be more than happy. Just a heads up, I had to wait maybe 15 mins or so for my order since they fry them up fresh, so prepare to wait and stare at other people eating for awhile.

Noori is probably the best bang for your buck Korean fried chicken I've seen anywhere, whether in the Bay Area or Chicago suburbs. Located in Assi Plaza, the store is rather unassuming - the sign is still of what I presume is a previous business, but Noori is branded from their signage to their business cards. The menu is rather simple: you either order a half order or a full order of chicken, with various choices for sauce (Sweet and Mild, Soy Garlic, Hot and Spicy, the usual) and boneless or not boneless. For my order, I went with the Boneless Hot & Spicy. The chicken is made to order, so expect a fifteen minute wait or so, but know that you're getting fresh chicken, so it's well worth it. Perfect if you want to grab a quick drink or snacks in the grocery store and come back for your order. Their portions are rather generous. For a full order, you can easily feed yourself for 2+ meals. They also come with a side of salad and pickled radish, which is a nice touch and more than you would usually get for a to-go order, in my experience. The chicken is nice and juicy, and the sauce is great, not too salty and still flavorful with a decent kick. My only warning is that they market a "half and half" option, but just know you're paying the half price for two different flavors rather than getting the reduced price of a full order. TIP: It takes about 15 minutes, so take that time to grab some beer and bar snacks from Assi Plaza.
