I was in town on Tuesday and stopped in. The people there are so nice and service was good. However, the bathroom still hasn't been cleaned. That place needs to be scrubbed and bleached. It's a nice bar just dirty. There's obviously mold around the toilet and lots of stains from people vomitting.

I rarely find myself disgusted with an experience so much so that I feel compelled to write a review but here we are. The male bartender we encountered was the absolute worst I have ever come across in my entire life, bearing in mind I'm also a bartender and have seen many come and go. The place had it's "quirks" and clientele but this review will center on the poor service provided by this dude. 1. When we first came in a friend ordered Vegas bombs cause she had just found out what they were and was excited. Not only did the dude make them wrong, he put a carbonated beverage from the gun into the tin and lazily shook it, which made the top pop off cause of pressure, and he tried it again. That's so rookie it hurts. He then proceeded to spill half the tin on the bartop (very common theme with this dude) as he poured out the shots 2. I asked what bourbons they had, not expecting more than a few, and he fired back with just Jim Beam. Looked around the bar for 2 seconds and found 3-4 in total. 3. Asked for a tequila sunrise for a friend and he made it with tequila, OJ, and a shot of cranberry for color over grenadine. I've never in my life encountered a bar, even the most dive of the dive, that didn't have grenadine 4. Dude was hardly behind the bar. Kept wandering off and coming back 5. Couldn't even keep a tab straight. Ended up putting half of one friends tab on anothers 6. Did last call, looked at my friends receipts, then told me he wasn't going to serve me because what the people I came with tipped was "bullshit" which has absolutely nothing to do with me, or my finances. Frankly I don't blame them for only tipping 15% but the audacity to say something like that is just truly unprofessional. He then continued to serve and take shots himself as we walked out the door. Never will I return and frankly think this dude was the worst bartender I have ever come across no cap. I hope in the future this place staffs better. Also around 1am some random drunk dude showed up behind the bar to wash glassware, which was dirty and just left on the bar top for hours. Unlikely to have a barback start at 1am so either an owner or a random customer doing dishes and being weird behind the bar

Only two other people were there and I sat at the bar and the bartender walked past me four times ignoring me until I said "Am I invisible?" She said, oh, I didn't notice you because you're not a regular. You would think she would have loved having new blood in there because the other two people there was regulars that was nursing their draft beer. What a freaking dumb.

Was here for a party this past weekend. Bartender was ignoring party guests by avoiding eye contact and taking shots with her regulars. At one point we were trying to close out our pretty large tab and she ignored us, poured herself a white claw in a cup, and went outside to smoke. I've worked in the bar and restaurant industry for years and I've never had such a rude bartender. Our party was rowdy at points, but all extremely kind and generous tipping people. It was not a good look for Demma's.

First time coming here, it was a blast! The people here are really friendly and social-able. Everybody definitely knows how to have a great time. Drinks are reasonable. BEWARE if you come here on Sunday's after 6. Bingo night is beyond a full house and you might have to end up parking a block away. Definitely recommend this bar! Also has an outdoor area for smokers as well. Good, well maintained bathrooms. No shady faces (really)

Strange goings on. A very brightly lit square bar, with 360 Degree seating, it provides for very efficient service, but if you are just trying to get a drunk on, you end up looking someone right in the eye every time you look up, eventually they will want to talk to you. The after work crowd is mostly regulars that seem a little suspicious of any one not wearing jeans and a leather jacket. There may be cause for suspicion, I heard rumors of a basement poker game going on a couple days a week, I am sure they are only rumors, wink wink nod nod. If the bar tender fancies you, at the end of her shift she will sit with you, buy you a drink with the tip money she made off of you, then invite you into her car and drive you around while telling you her life story, it's OK, you can just stay at the next bar which happens to be across the street. Open very late, and the crowd gets very South Side strange the later it is. Park on the street, if a fight breaks out, which eventually it will, the cops will block the parking lot while sorting out the rif raf.

Everytime I've been here I've had a BLAST! I've been here just to hang and play pool. It's a great place to go with the girls and have fun, NOT have to worry about idiots and other choice adjectives. I've also been here for private events and it's always been enjoyed by all. The owners are AWESOME!

Pierogi making class. The class was really fun, met some great people and made enough Pierogi for 2 or 3 dinners. You could make as many as you wanted, they had extra everything. The fillings were made for us and were really good. Got the receipes for all of it and looking forward to making them on my own. The bar itself is great too!

Not much good about this place either. Alot of overserved people hang around here and again the TV screens are so small you need to be an Eagle to enjoy viewing any sports. The food here is bad too, but then again it is a bar so food is not the main thing. This place would get one star if not for the free pool on Sundays on their three pool tables. Plenty of seating too for a place of this size.
