This is a wonderful location for a family gathering. The pizza is among the best in the Chicagoland area, and I have never encountered any issues with the service.

This is one if those places who is going to compensate for the recession by helping create it. The prices are so unreasonable, I almost walked out, but one waitress caught my eye so I stayed. Our waiter was decent - no bells or whistles - but he did the job - the bare minimum - but he did the job. I ordered an Italian Beef. The beef - just the sandwich was $13.99. You can see by the picture below the they were charging $11.99 too much. The $13.99 doesn't include fries. Fries are an extra $5.00. You can see by the picture below the order of fries wasn't even one whole potato. I asked the kid to make it wet. He said, "We don't do that here. I'll give you the au jous on the side." Whatever. When the food came, my buddy asked why I skipped on the hot peppers. This joint charges $1.50 for hot peppers. Thats ridiculous. The meat was fatty and dry at the same time. The bread was cut for the lunch crowd, and we were the late dinner crowd. The amount of meat - even this low grade leather - was laughably small. The au jous was Gaucho from the Jewels. It wasn't even legit au jous. Again, mind the photo. Then there were three slices of pickles that didn't know if they were dill or kosher, but they were sure they were mushy and nearly flavorless. This is the last time I'll be crossing the threshold into that mediocre money pit. Screw me once - shame on me. Screw me twice - you're not getting a 20% tip. (He got 15%.) The waitress was lovely - we spoke briefly. It's a shame the place is such a clip joint. I'd go back again and again just to see her. I am thankful to live in a city that as an endless supply of restaurants with an endless supply of lovely waitresses.

Happy hour is the best here, and Sue is the reason why we always come. I had to have the Sheppard pie which of course is a good sized portion for happy hour and my regular Blue Moon on draft with lemons and oranges of course. You want Irish, this is the place to go to on the south side. The restaurant is absolutley vintage and I live for that! It's a time warp for me and i appreciate that so much being born in the late 60's. Sincerely I do adore the realistic Irish flavor and the kindness of Sue and the other waitresses. They are kind and very motherly, They know the menu and are very honest on picks. You can't go wrong here, even the short ribs are awesome and tangy. And the pastrami on rye, what! It's out of this world, so if you are ever near the south side. Stop by and experience the taste of Ireland. You will love the ambiance as it takes you back a spell.

This was my first visit to this location. I had been to the location in Beverly and loved the pizza. This location was a big dissapointment. We ordered 3 different pizzas and all of the average at best. The chicken wings were nasty. They were fatty and we could not eat them. Never again!

Went for a funeral luncheon. This was our 2nd go-round as my family had another luncheon there a few years back. The menu was standard. I don't know the ppp. We had: rolls with butter- soft, but just meh. Many at my table LOVED them, tho, so we are all different. Salad- actually the ranch dressing was incredibly good. Totally a great ranch dressing. Pasta: I did not eat it, but others complained at the table. One described it as "tinny" tasting, but this isn't an Italian restaurant, so perhaps don't offer it? Beef: standard and what you'd expect. Nothing special, but edible. Fried chicken: no better or worse than any others I have had. Corn: I refused it, looked like....well... corn. Mashed potatoes: they are potatoes, but I did not eat mine. The taste was terrible to my palate. Service: Kind waitresses and really good, except when I told the woman about my allergies, she never told me if I was safe to eat. I had to ask another server. Still, I am giving a star for the service because they were all so very nice. Here is where I feel they went wrong. Doggy bag policy: are you KIDDING me? THEY SAID NO to our request for containers for the leftover food. We had some small amounts left and we asked for some containers cuz I can only ASSUME they were gonna toss out our leftovers. The young gal manager came out. She was nice, not belligerent, but firm on her no. I said what a waste it was that they would toss out food. She said that is their policy for family style. I was not happy, and told her what a bad decision it was to THROW AWAY food. OMG! I feel that because I am so mad about their policy, that personally, I would never return. (Of course, I did not pay for the luncheon, but I'd never consider them.) So, only 2 stars total. Good service, and some of the food was pretty decent. 3 stars lost for the food I did not care for, and their doggy bag policy. Wasting food is no joke and I feel should be made a law to not allow it to be tossed when requested by a customer.

Because we had such a great experience last time, we decided to stop in again. Well......... unfortunately, this time was OK, but that's about it. Food was good - Onion rings for an app - tasty, not greasy, good portion. I had the ribs, sauce is a little smokey, not spicy. Some of the ends were burned. Spouse had the prime rib (medium rare). Served appropriate temp. Nicely size portion. Service was slow, we sat quite a while before we asked another server if they were taking care of our table. Informed that our server was responsible for a private party in the downstairs room so she would take care of use. Now why in the world would you have a server taking care of a large private party also serving customers int he dining room. Bad Management decision. Overall, it just took too long and was not a relaxing meal

Hate to write this but... Last night we picked up two pizzas and three side salads. Got home and all three salads had nasty, bitter brown lettuce. The salads were barely edible and ended up in the garbage. Your menu advertises "crisp fresh greens". The pizzas were not up to your typical quality either. Very disappointed all around!

Yesterday we were looking for somewhere to sit down and eat. We had never been here before and I'm glad we came. We started out with the appetizer combo which was somewhere around $14. It came with onion rings, mozzarella sticks, mushrooms, zucchini sticks and then ranch dressing and marinara. I don't like mushrooms at all, and the zucchini sticks were kind of weird. But I did really like the onion rings and mozzarella sticks. We also ordered a large sausage pizza which was really delicious. The crust reminded me of like a cracker crust, it was very crispy and crunchy but not burnt at all. The sausage had so much flavor and the cheese and sauce ratio was perfect. This was probably one of the better pizzas that I've had in a while. We loved it. My only complaint was the pizza was a little bit oily, other than that everything was perfect!
