They have fantastic food! Their award winning skirt steak is cooked perfectly! The chicken noodle soup is better then any canned soups! The omelets are so yummy! Their coffee is the best I ever had! The staff is always friendly and the owner greets you! This place truly feels comfortable and inviting like home! We highly recommend it! Give this restaurant a try! You will not be disappointed! Their bloody Mary's are very good too! Joan and David Booth by the window Also their cream of chicken soup is really good too. I will write reviews on their other menu items as I try them! Oh! Omg! Their cheeseburger is out of this world! All of their food has alot of flavor!

For years they were on point. Great service, clean, good food. Yesterday though was definitely their fall. Upon entering the owner sat me + guest down. The female server came and took drink order. Upon returning she took food order. Place wasn't too busy, but clean. The food arrived in 10 minutes for me and guest. My guests' eggs were cold. Server took them back and my silverware had not been cleaned. I was waiting for the server to return but didn't want my food to get cold so I went to the cashier and told her. Also told her about the eggs for my guest. She didn't apologize but corrected me in stating they make everything fresh. I asked why would eggs be cold then, no response...better yet a blank stare. No discount, nothing free to compensate for their incompetence. The server brought his food back warm and she apologized and stated that sometimes they cook too much and place it on the side not to waste food. Wait what? We should have left but we didn't. We are the food which was bland and beneath my typical standards. It was nice knowing u Les but we have officially divorced.

I want to start by saying, I was a huge fan of this spot - until today. They were known for good fresh food, beautiful waitresses, and great service. Those days are gone. We were sat quickly and fairly quickly greeted by a waiter who must have forgot to wash his uniform. I assumed he was the busboy, because i had never had a guy server there and his clothes were dirty - like he had been cleaning up something. He brought us water and was pretty quick to take our order. I ordered a BLT with well-done fries. My buddy ordered a rueben Panini. We both ordered ice tea. When the tea finally got there - the lemon wedges were more like twists. There wasn't much lemon on them. I asked for more lemon and - after a long wait - got two slimy wedges and more twists. When the sandwich came - it was clear he didn't get the "well done" part of the French fry order. He didn't even get the "cook them through and serve them hot" part of the order. There were a lot on the plate and many were half cooked. I bit into the sandwich and was struck by the odd flavor. I took a second bite. I couldn't place the problem. I took a third bite. That's when it hit me. The bacon was old. This was Thursday's bacon on a Sunday afternoon. I am not a guy who sends back meals, but this was disgusting. There is little worse than cold, old bacon. I called the waiter over and told him to take it away. He asked if i wanted a replacement. I said no. This already wrecked my appetite. Soon enoigh the owner came over and asked what the problem was. He said - in a very loud voice - we just cooked that bacon this moning. I responded - in an equally loud voice - that bacon on that sandwich was not cooked this morning. That was old bacon. He said he'd take it off the check, but not afrter reaffirming it was fresh. It was not and I said so again. When the waiter returned, I explained that I am not the kind of guy who makes a fuss. I know it wasn't his fault, he's not in the kitchen, but that was old bacon and that's no healthy. He sheepishly agreed and gave us the check. They charged me for my ice tea. Used to love the place. I'm never going back. If you're a bacon lover - avoid that place. Friends don't let friends eat old bacon.

This is Jennie and Ed. Let me tell you. I've been coming here for over 30 yrs. It is a family/single don't matter type of restaurant. I have enjoyed this place even before I started my own family. Prices are good. Employees at restaurant are like family every time they come to the table. Angelo, Mavra,Catilina,Debbie, are the best of people at the place. I have always been treated like a Queen. I'm a picky person and my order is always right. To other patreons, if your order doesn't go right. Just communicate nicely they will get it right.

A diamond in the rough. Long time business. Had the pleasure of going here for the first time and met the owner. Food was fantastic , coffee was great , atmosphere was old school and the service was second to none. Our server , Catalina what an amazing work ethic and personality plus. She was awesome with that amazing smile. My coffee cup was never empty. I am a north sider but I'll happily put this on my list of worth the ride places I look forward to going back soon :) Thanks all , you all have this down !

I am a diner guy. I grew up in Lee's Town Kitchen (shout out to the Double Eagle). I miss the Sunmist and Wags. Love Goldy's & Kappy's. Add the Les Brothers - been going to them since I was thirteen. The one egg scrambled is my jam, but they have everything and anything You could want. The coffee comes around every five minutes. Go sit down for breakfast like a human being. Get a paper, and bring a friend.

Hair in my soup. When the waitress took my soup she didn't say anything, brought me another soup and she said "try again dad" . I Ordered a "deluxe" burger and was brought a plain burger. When I mentioned it to the waitress she said that's how they do it unless you ask for the extras. Why wouldn't she tell me that when I ordered the deluxe option of that burger? The food came out before the appetizer we ordered. The waitress insisted on helping put the food in containers. while doing so, she was touching the food from our plates with her hands with no gloves.

Now that soup was fye, had the Cream of Chicken w RiceI'm sorry I didn't get a pix, but baby it was good Back to the sandwich, where the powder sugar, where the jam Now the sandwich was good but my taste buds wasn't feeling it cause I was expecting something else. Now the Burger my friend had was delicious she said. Tues are Burger Night & I believe it $6.99 for a QP W fries only. She added cheddar cheese & grilled onions & she had cheese fries too. I would definitely return & stick to what I know. They have a spread of desserts & beverages, including ice cream, wine & jello
