Such a cute little coffeehouse. Our group of four all enjoyed our drinks. The baristas were kind and helpful. They did forget one persons order of iced tea, but quickly made it for us. We were especially glad to hear that 100% of profits are donated to nonprofits.

Excellent coffee shop! They donate 100% to charity, roast their own beans, and have super fun specialty drinks! It is really cute in here, love that you can see all the equipment in the back. Service was great, though they did forget my dad's drink and needed a reminder! I got a tiramisu cold brew which was delicious, like a lil dessert! My sister got a coconut milk elderberry drink with popping boba and loved it, my mom got a chai, my brother had a plain black cold brew, my dad had an iced black tea. We all loved what we ordered! It was a little busy here on a Sunday morning and I could see why! Glad we went!

The place was busy when we went. They have a handful of tables. The staff were friendly. The drinks are strong, so if you like a strong cup, you'll enjoy it. The prices were decent.

Buying something here does a little good for yourself AND a little good for the world. They donate 100% of the net profits to charities like Beyond Hunger, Housing Forward, the Chicago Theater, Animal Care League, New Moms and others. So I purchased a 12 oz hot latte and it was very flavorful. I went on a Saturday and they had live music outside. Definitely a good place for families.

Decent pastries but drinks not well mixed. Flies everywhere inside. Chairs uncomfortable. Heavy metal door to patio broken, slamming constantly. Limited electrical outlets for laptops. Wi-Fi alerts, messages that it is NOT secure! Receipts to cell phones alerts are also NOT secure! Only one trash bin under back counter, doesn't open fully. Awful Indy music, annoying off-key singers. Just not at all conducive for working, studying or reading. Often notice Baristas would rather talk with each other, and make customers wait - and can be fairly cold, even nasty. Shop has no real vibe or personality. Zero greetings of all my visits last few months. Probably a dozen visits - but today's visit was such a turn-off.

Great place, however I have one complaint that I have been experiencing the last 4-5 visits over the past 2-3 months. Lately, all my drip coffees that I have ordered have been really bitter. I normally order at least 3-4 coffees per visit and all are different, so I can't blame one specific coffee for the bitterness. It's annoying because the biterness overpowers the specific flavors/notes in each coffee. It was never this way prior to 3 months ago. A few times we just threw the coffee away. What happened?

So excited to come back to this shop and try their coffee. We got a chai latte and cold brew lemonade which were both too strong for our liking. It looks like there is a variety of pastries all the time - the butter croissant was delicious, so flaky, soft, and flavorful. They also have outdoor seating on the side of the building, so excited to sit out there when the weather gets nicer. Service was super friendly and we got our order quickly.

Not my favorite place to get coffee now. The new baristas definitely don't treat people the same which makes me wonder... and it's not just me. I've people watched here for a while and the vibe is off with CERTAIN people. Coffee was great but I don't feel comfortable coming back.

I have always heard great things about Whirlwind, and let me say, this place did not disappoint. Quick warning- there are two doors, one of which is locked, the other which is open for customers. So, if you are struggling with a door that doesn't open, just go to the other door so you can avoid the humbling embarrassment I faced. It is quite quaint inside! There is a medium sized sitting area once inside (maybe 5 tables and counter facing the window), and the other section is a big area where I am guessing they roast the beans. The code of the wifi is noburntbeans, which makes sense because they very amazingly do not burn the beans!! (Looking at you Starbucks). I got a chai latte with a shot of espresso which was delicious and helped me stay productive as I got to work. It was very welcoming environment, the employees are lovely, and I stayed for over an hour. Also, 100% of profits go to charity! Wow! All in all, a great coffee shop. I highly recommend, and I will be back!
