Great place for breakfast for the whole family. Even when they are very busy food aways comes out quickly. Great spot for a breakfast out.

We have been a very long time customer of Lumes actually over 25 years. It seems lately the food is beginning to change, especially between dine in and carry outs as I do both. It has always been you got a small cup of soup with your lunch order, but the other day I went in to order a to go food and was told soup no longer comes with carry out orders but does with dine in. This was at the Orland Park location. They will be seeing more and more competition as Egg Harbor has opened and now Egg and Berry is opening down the street. There is no logic to this as you have to pay the same price and was told you must order a bowl of soup and not a cup of you want soup with your order. Just recently I saw that the Frankfort location closed as that location was the worst of all of the others that I go to. The location on Harlem needs to be remodeled as it is looking run down.

Beware they charge 3% service fee on all orders. And will not remove when asked to do so.

Great food and service. The prices are through the roof. $18 for a skillet. Not sure why their prices have good up so much. Nothing has changed quality or service wise. I know things have gone up in price but this place went overboard.

Homey spot with great service. The food was comforting and very tasty. My wife especially loved the soup! Family breakfast/brunch here is tasty and good to spend time with everyone.

My daughter and I dying here during the week since we both had the day off or jumped at the opportunity to spend some time with her There are several of moons locations and we drove a little farther for this one It was a decent amount of people there but service was really prompt. The waitress was pretty friendly. I came there with my eyes bigger than my stomach actually ordered way too much food. I ordered the signature French toast which came with strawberries, blueberries, cinnamon roll plus at. I added a vegetables skillet to that as well My daughter just stuck with her skillet plus a side of blueberry pancakes with. She enjoyed a couple Joe and it was a pretty good meal. Not too expensive

Cute place. Parking lot is very cramped. Watch for patrons coming from both directions. Plenty of breakfast and lunch options. French toast and pancakes are amazing. Currently charge a 3% fee on all credit transactions.

Came here with my girlfriend and her parents for Mother's Day. You should arrive early because this place gets packed fast! There's additional parking on the street and some nearby parking lots if needed. I ordered the pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, (club 1), and then the French toast, which had strawberries and bananas (yep I was hungry ha!) Everything was delicious. The waiter was friendly, and the service was quick. The adjacent table to us had a World War 2 vet and his son. I walked over to his table, paid for his breakfast, and thanked him for his service. Evidently he's a regular. All in all, the food was great, the service was great, and everyone was friendly.
