Service was good but the food was just meh. We ordered quesadillas, just ok. We also ordered a burger well done. It came out as medium. The very expensive drinks were served in a plastic cup, eeww.

I've been here several times recently with my wife and friends. Besides having to grab my own drinks from the bar on the first floor and bringing it to the rooftop, we've waited a half hour before we had to ask the bartender for some water and a menu. A waitress finally comes and says, "I was told to bring you these waters and menus" like if it was inconveniencing her. Waited another 15 minutes while I see everyone being served but us. We ended up having to go back downstairs in order to actually place an order, where we waited another fifteen minutes to be served despite us being the only people in the bar. When we finally were able to order food, we witnessed the bartender taking shots with a friend and texting on her phone the whole time when I'm drink was completely empty for an hour. This was on 9/17/25. This place has a ton of potential, it's one of the only southside rooftop bars in our area, but the service and unfriendly waitresses explain why they are completely empty during the best weather season in Chicago.

Stopped in to see a friend's band play. - They were GREAT! Now to review Rooftop Tap................ First off, there are ZERO handicap parking spots in front for any of the businesses. They are located at least a half block away (if not more) in the municipal lot. Be aware of this if you or someone in your party has limited mobility. There is no service for the tables on the floor. You need to go up to the bar and hopefully get the attention of one of the bartenders - Go Luck. This also means that tables are not cleared of empty glasses, bottles, food, etc. We ended up cleaning the table we sat at ourselves. The floor is polished concrete and no attention is paid to spills so going to the restrooms are "at your own risk". A member of our party that uses a cane had it actually slip and lost grip because of this. Will I go again - Um, No

Hours on the door stated until 2am on a Saturday. We entered at 12am. As we approached the bar we were questioned how we got in because the doors were locked. We were refused service most likely for the color of our skin. We will never be back to this establishment. 0 out of 5 stars if possible.

Stopped in for lunch at the Rooftop Tap on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. There is a good sized bar on the first floor - indoors - but the real attraction at this place is the rooftop. It's a pretty big space and offers a nice mix of sun and shade. Our waitresses promptly greeted us with menus and took our drink order. She did a decent job throughout the meal, but she could been a bit more attentive. The menu is large, but doesn't feature anything that you won't find at every sports bar in America. Nachos, wings, burgers, wraps.... Again, the attraction is the space itself, and I'm sure this place is packed on a warm weekend night in the summer. The food was fine. It was exactly as my wife and I expected. We split the beef nachos and a grilled chicken fajita wrap. The nachos were plenty big enough to share for 4 people. Our server had the wrap split into 2 plates since we were sharing, and again, it was plenty big enough, but lacked flavor. It was pretty bland. We each had a couple beers, split the nachos and the wrap and got out of there for just over $40, so the value was there, it just wasn't very memorable.

I was there I'm Memorial Day with a couple friends and as I left, the manager came running after us asked us why we didn't leave a tip for the server. But we did leave a tip we left cash and I put money on a credit card. But whether we left a tip or not, I cannot believe the manager came running after us asking where the tip was ???? What kind of manager does that? And she was yelling at us too !! I called the owner the next day and he he wouldn't even let me tell him what happened since my friend already called. He said he would take care of it, but he couldn't give me a day when didn't even wanna hear anything I had to say.

I decided to have a somewhat last minute 40th birthday party for my daughter. I was planning 30-40 guests, on 7/3. A big night for bars. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience this was. Frankie, the owner, was absolutely amazing. He suggested the Taco Bar (instead of apps). So delicious. Everyone was raving about how good it all was. Frankie checked with me so many times to see what we needed. Ryan our dedicated server was outstanding. As were all of the bartenders and servers. I have planned many parties in my life. This by far was one of the easiest and most delicious.

Great show by Elvis impersonator, Joe Tirrito! He performed for I think it was 2 1/2 hours and his voice stayed strong throughout. Seems like a genuinely nice guy, too, bringing on stage an 11 year-old boy to sing a couple songs and a woman he performs with in another band. He performs there a few times a year, I'm told. So if you love Elvis, you'll enjoy this show. Our waitress was wonderful and Frank is an outstanding host. The food is good, too! Highly recommended!

Rooftop Tap is a bar/restaurant in a strip mall within Downtown Palos Heights. While it doesn't appear to have a lot of parking up front, there are more then enough spots on the side and back. I went in the front door and being my first time, it was a bit difficult to direct myself where to go to access the rooftop. Once up there, the patio was populated with some basic outdoor tables and chairs as well as some overhead screens to create shade. There was also a bar up there for quicker drink turnaround. The menu is very well priced and offers a variety of classic bar food. Items are pretty straight forward. There was a decent drink offering as well but please note that the daily food/drink specials advertised on the website are no longer offered. Bit of a disappointment. Our group split the appetizer platter which was yummy. Meals included the boneless wings, chicken club, rooftop burger, and chicken wrap. I personally got the boneless wings and did not love them; breading was minimal, sauce was light, chicken was a bit tough. However, everyone else seemed to enjoy their food! Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive! Food was quickly turnaround yet paced nicely knowing we also got drinks and apps. Bathrooms offered to the rooftop patrons were not the cleanest, my toilet didn't flush, and the female restroom had a giant plastic shower in it which was off putting. While I liked the prices and shaded rooftop, I'm not sure I'd make my way back to this spot based on my specific experience.
