Royalberry Waffle House is a breakfast place so they are open from 7am to 3pm. My friend and I decided to try this place out for both of our first time after our 2 hour hike and we were both starving which is perfect because our breakfast portion was big which is great. Our waitress Melissa was super friendly and nice. Very spacious inside and give like an older restaurant feel which I really missed. I got the vegetable omelet with cheddar cheese, pancakes and fruit and it was soooo good! I took some home for the next day. My friend got the banana, chocolate chip crepe and she also took half home for the next day. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star was the prices online via the dine in menu differs quite a bit. But since we were already there, we decided to try and we are glad that we did. I personally will be back but have to keep in mind the menu prices online is incorrect.

I was in the area and thought to grab breakfast here. The service and the staff were very nice. I really enjoyed the pancakes, but the hash-browns were just okay. Other than that it was still a nice experience

Made a quick stop to the Royalberry right after the gym. The service was great and the food came out super quick. It's a spacious restaurant but nothing over the top with the decor. Rather plain. I mostly see elderly people coming to and from this Waffle House. This is one of their go to spots lol. I ordered the tuna sandwich on a croissant and French onion soup without cheese. Omg the French onion soup was sooo good!! I didn't care for the taste of the tuna but I still ate it so it wasn't Terrible. My bf ordered an omelet and hash browns. He also had a side of oatmeal with fruit. He said it was good. Of course I had to grab some of his fruit and it was very fresh and sweet. I would go back just to order that fruit. Other than the tuna the only complaint I had was the cleanliness of the glassware. I halfway drank my water when I saw someone's lipstick stain on the side of my glass. Yuck. If they had half stars I would give a 3.5 -3.75 lol.

I have lived in palos park for over 13 years, my husband for even longer. I recently read a news article about this restaurant and how great it was. Neither of us have ever been so we went to check it out. Let's start out, the staff that sat us, were very nice and got us seated right away. We got to our table and were promptly greeted. We ordered our food, the eggs I ordered could have been cooked longer they were still watery, and same with my husband's omelet. Both could have been cooked longer and they would have been perfect. The hash browns were perfectly cooked, same with the bacon. Our food came out rather quickly. I would say within 5 minutes. Some of the items were amazing, some needed just a little longer cook time. You could tell this is a place that a lot of regulars go to. Which is great. Inside isn't too much. Just a local diner. Would definitely come back and just hope they cook my eggs a little bit longer next time.

Service was fine however the food was nothing to write home about. Pancakes were tough with air bubbles throughout and the omelet was tasteless. There was lots of sitting space, but everything appeared old including the picture of Mona Lisa. The carpet appeared old like it was from an old theater and also it looked as if a thorough cleaning was well overdue. I would not recommend this place or be returning.

Good food. Good seating. Good service. Quick service. Pleasant and friendly servers. Glad they are open later now. My girlfriend and I recently had lunch there for the first time. We always went for breakfast. I had a BLT/fries and the French onion soup. Let me tell you, over the years I have been and continue to be on a mission to find good French Onion Soup. Of all the many places I've been only 2 scored my top favorites. This restaurant is on that list now for my beloved French Onion Soup.

I was surprised by how large Royalberry was when we walked in! I've driven past many times and didn't notice it was there until someone invited us to join them for breakfast. Ample parking in the lot. The staff is on game, never waited for water or coffee refills. Lots of regulars on the day we went! The menu is large but not difficult to navigate. I had a 4oz steak with eggs and potatoes. It was tasty, not outstanding but okay. Portions were not overwhelming which was nice. I
