stopped in on a saturday morning around 10am. right across from the riverside metra station (burlington-northern), so an easy trip from the city or western burbs. the high ceiling dining room is bright, airy and spotless. the tables are comfortably spaced and they offer outdoor seating, but we chose to eat indoors with a/c and were seated right away. the atmosphere is casual and open with beautiful vintage stained glass in the dining room. the menu is available online with tabletop QR codes, but the servers also drop hard copies at the table. the offerings are eclectic with mexican specialties like chilaquiles (i strongly recommend them over easy with green salsa and topped with chicken tinga), as well as a variety of waffles, pancakes and other traditional latin american fare. the drinks are excellent and i highly recommend the iced mexican hot chocolate (omfg). the strawberry crepe was also delicious and comes piled with fresh strawberries and a scoop of strawberry ice cream, on the side. the service was excellent. very attentive and extra friendly. my wife and i are lactose intolerant and we forgot to order oat milk in our drinks, but the server was on top of it and asked if we wanted dairy or an alternative. great catch because i'd be paying for that miscue right about now... prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality & service. you might wait a few extra minutes for your food order because they seem to do a thriving carry-out business. there was a line at the self-serve kiosk to order drinks & breakfast to go. but there was no wait for a table. my wife plans to frequent dulce mami for the iced mexican hot chocolate and we've already added it to our list of favorite breakfast spots. we'll definitely be back with friends and family. we live nearby and will have to try them for dinner, soon.

I'm somewhat torn on this because the food was pretty good but service was very inconsistent. We had a group and we were quickly greeted and we got a table pretty quickly though it was prime brunch time. The menu is extensive with plenty of options and the space is very welcoming (though not very large). Our server came and we ordered drinks but then didn't come back for a while. We finally ordered but when food and drinks started coming, the timing was all over the place. Two meals didn't come until at least 20 min after the rest and the majority of us were done eating by this time. The one meal that took the longest was a side of scrambled eggs! The quickest thing to make out of all of our orders. Price wise, the spot was reasonable but with the service I'm not sure how fast we'll be back.

We ate here twice for dinner. The location is right in the center of Riverside across from the train station. We enjoyed the meals both times. Just so you know: the crepes are buckwheat. I had the mushroom and spinach crepe for my first visit and a pasta with chicken dish the second time. Both were very generous servings. The young servers were very good. If you sit near the windows you have a good view of the passing trains, just in case there is a train enthusiast in your life! We will definitely go again. They also have ice cream and assorted pastries here, making it a good place for dessert. It is mainly a breakfast and lunch place with predominantly Mexican entrees, but we went for dinner and it was not crowded. I look forward to trying breakfast there.

Cute place! Loved the atmosphere. Service was friendly. Food was delicious! Loved the churro French toast! It had banana, crunchy cinnamon roll cereal and fabulous whipped cream on top. The omelet veggies were tasty! I enjoyed the pomegranate iced tea but thought it was a little pricey. The coffee drinks were fancy with lots of options. My family enjoyed the skillet and churro pancakes, too. Definitely will return.

I'm all about the sweets life and even the cold rainy weather didn't stop me from fulfilling my life's passion. I was able to find free street parking across the street and could choose to either place an order at the kiosk or with the cafe employee. I ordered the Santa Claus hot cocoa which came with a waffle twill, marshmallows and whip cream and a sweet milk crepe that was filled with cream cheese, fresh strawberries and drizzled with condensed milk. The crepe was massive! I had to take half of it home to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The cafe had two rooms which was decorated very cutesy, very demure. Can't wait to come back to try the cold blended drinks when it gets warmer out.

Oh em gee. The cutest cafe in riverside! So quaint and elegant. I thought the establishment was pretty large in sizing especially to fit large groups. Our server was quick and efficient. The food arrived in a reasonable time frame as well. My friend and I ordered the Egg Omelette Breakfast and the Spinach & mushroom crepe. I also indulged in a chai latte. They were so sweet to do the design in cinnamon. I like the omelette but it lacked seasoning. No salt or pepper was added. It's massive so you will depart well fed. The side of potatoes were alright. Should've been crispier with a kick of heat. I felt the food was bland. My friend enjoyed the crepe. As a savory not sweet, he said it held up really well for itself and the side of pasta salad was fresh. I think their chai lattes are really good and huge in size for the price. I will be returning to try their hot chocolate items and another breakfast meal.

I had been wanting to visit Dulce Mami Cafe in Riverside for the longest time, so when a friend and I were making brunch plans one day, we decided to venture out to Dulce Mami. Our first impression was, "Wow, so pink and cute!". All the decor and vibes screamed "aesthetic, yet super family friendly/cozy' if that makes sense. For drinks, my friend ordered a cup of tea and I got a hot caramel latte. We agreed that both drinks were fine, nothing special. For her entree, my friend ordered the chicken and peppers crepe. She said it was very good and savory! I decided to order one of the combos; the house omelette with churro french toast. I enjoyed my omelette. It consisted of ham, cheese, spinach, jalapeno, avocado, mushroom, and green peppers. It was very filling for a half portion. However, the star of the show for me was the churro french toast. The french toast itself was cooked perfectly and topped with sliced banana, cinnamon, and cateja (similar to dulce de leche). My entree was the perfect balance of savory and sweet! Our waitress was very kind and patient. She answered any questions we had and always had a smile on her face. Dulce Mami is definitely worth trying out!

This place is horrible. Worst service ever, super slow they don't even know their own menu, I wanted to get Ice latte coffee just to try something different so I went to the drive through thinking I was gona be in and out for just ice coffee. It took someone to come to the speaker 10 mins, i was asking questions she didn't know so i just ordered basic iced caramel latte, i pulled up was taking forever so decided to just walk in , I still waited about 35 mins and the coffee looked disgusting was just black I asked for Some Creamer, i finally tasted it in the car and it was so disgusting I ended throwing it out..This took 45-50 minutes for disgusting coffee that made me miss my car appointment. I will never comeback here.

We came here this morning to this location. We had been to other locations. This one seems very special. It's in a very pretty area. We really enjoyed the food and the service. We also enjoyed that it opens early, as we tend to be early birds, eating breakfast and then going and doing our errands. Great spot - all of their locations are really nice !
