Really liked this cute sandwich shop... freshly made sandwiches served nicely on a wooden board. I was here for a quick business lunch but will be backs soon. Had a scoop of the pecan ice cream which was delicious and made in-house. Good quality and quick service with plenty of parking. I will certainly be back!

Have you ever had an experience at a business and was so blown away, that you could not wait to write a review?! Well that's my story. Sawmilly is in a class ALL by itself, especially for a sandwich lover. During one of our explore a neighborhood adventures, we decided to have a sandwich at Sawmilly. We read the menu that is taped to the window just outside of the front door and decided to dine there even though it did not list gluten-free bread as a bread option. Seeing this, the plan was to order one of them without bread.. To our surprise. GF bread was offered and make a Cuban sandwich on GF bread! So 2 we're ordered. One as advertised and the other on GF bread. Both Cubans (one with no changes and one on GF) were made to order and the roast pork was melt in your mouth greatness. The homemade chips were also some of the best I've tasted, though chips are not a favorite food item of mine. I left lunch excited that (1) I stumbled across it, (2) tried it and looking forward to trying other sandwiches the next time. There is something for every palate at Sawmilly. The mere thought of the chips, French onion dip, zucchini pickles and Cuban sandwich are enticing me to return for another visit in the coming days.

Not many options for a lunch sandwich in Riverside... but this place knocks it out of the park! So many options, all of them better than the last! Fast, friendly service in a quintessential Riverside setting.

So disappointed with this place. We ordered sandwiches about a month ago and the order was messed up. Ok. Everyone has a bad day now and then. Fast forward to today. We said we will give this place another try. Mistake. Sandwiches were made with very little meat. The dip for the roast beef sandwich was so extremely salty that we ended up throwing it away. When you are paying good money fora sandwich, you expect a better one than we got today.

Price to portion ratio is good. I like their sandwiches, quite a tasty spot. If you're looking for a good sub shop, you'll have to try it for yourself.

Delicious sandwich menu. The peanut butter and jelly panini is the world's most amazing PB and J. They also have a lot of fun ice cream flavors. The staff was warm and friendly.

Great place in downtown Riverside. I had the Cubano Sandwich, homemade chips and dip. Everything was fantastic, I high recommend giving this restaurant a chance.

This is a cute little sandwich shop. It's creative as the paper towel holders are made of a long screw, and the plates are on boards. When you're done, you hang up the board which is a neat idea. The garbage shoots were neat as they were long tubes that probably enter Straight down into the dumpster. The red chairs were modern looking, and comic type pictures on the wall. This place was thought out well in terms of its style! The place was clean. I was greeted when I came in, and the order taker was friendly. They tell you what the different sandwiches are as you pickup. They also have neat drinks available. All of our sandwiches were absolutely delicious!!!! My only tip is that it's not a "twin friendly" restaurant (haha). There was only one baby high chair for the place. I would suggest two! We'll be back!
