We celebrated my mother's birthday dinner here last weekend. My family has been going to Carlucci's for years, but this was my first time. First, the restaurant is beautiful. Such an old school Italian vibe, you can't get better than that! So many restaurants focus on being modern looking, it really removes the charm out of places. Carlucci's was such a vibe. I can't wait to bring my husband here. Onto service - our waiter, Sal was incredible! Had an amazing personality, and took wonderful care of us. We were never without drinks, our food came in a timely manner, couldn't have asked for better service. Onto the food! My mom and I split a salad, so fresh and delicious. We also split the octopus which was great! Very tender. I ordered the chicken Marsala as my main and it was delicious! The chicken was perfectly tender, the Marsala sauce was perfectly balanced and tasted incredible!! I was hoping for personal redemption because the last time I ordered chicken Marsala at a different restaurant, it was awful. So happy Carlucci's hit every mark on making it a perfect dish. Everyone else in my family loved their dishes. I did take a bite of my mom's bolognese, and it was so meaty and delicious. They brought out a piece of tiramisu for my mom's birthday, what a wonderful end to our evening! Can't wait to come back!

Been about a year ..so made reservation on open table Seated immediately Started with Calamari...was nice & crispy..the roasted garlic sauce was perfect ! I had ordered Insalata dePollo...chicken breast with parmesan...salad was topped with honey Dijon dressing Cannot remember what she ordered but I did take a picture ! Waiter & service was excellent. Carlucci is gives off a very cozy, and romantic, yet somewhat old school type of vibe. I loved it. Came here for dinner with the hubby and we left very full and satisfied. I had the Fruti Del Mar, a seafood pasta dish. It was very filling and a nice sized portion. Also got the Caesar salad and the arancini which were great appetizers to our meal. I also loved the complimentary bread that our meal came with which tasted great dipped in olive oil and cheese. I love Italian food and the vibes here are so nice and homely you just feel like you're at home. For dessert of course I had to go with the tiramisu and it did not disappoint. The presentation of the food was very beautiful and appetizing as well. Carlucci also has a great selection of wine to pair with your meal. I will definitely be back!

Had a quick business meeting a prospective new hire, it was dinner service time and the servers seemed a bit rushed to get appetizers and coffee. They didnt ask us for refills, and the coffee was lukewarm. But our server who brought us the bill was informed got me a piping hot coffee to go. good customer service. Our appetizers were pretty decent as well, calamari, buratta and bruschetta.

I had an absolutely delicious dinner here! I had a business dinner here and we were seated in a lovely private room. Our servers were very attentive and friendly. The food was simply amazing. The assorted pizzas, Insalata della Casa, Orecchiette con Salsiccia, Costolette di Manzo and tiramisu were all fantastic ! The cocktail and wine menu is pretty vast, so there is definitely something for everyone! This is a great restaurant if you are staying in one of the nearby hotels and are looking for a great place to dine. I am looking forward to coming back soon!

Business Lunch done well. Service was great. I do recommend lunch/dinner reservations as they get busy quick. One of my personal favorites in the area. The pasta is always great and the desserts are even better.

Carlucci was recommended by our hotel and the restaurant actually sent a shuttle to pick us up and drop us back off when we were done eating, which was a really nice service! The food and service was very good and we all enjoyed our evening. Prices were relatively high, but I would return when in the area.

Food was mediocre at best. Got the short ribs, which came with spinach and mashed potatoes/gravy. There was no flavor to the ribs, like at all. Spinach in and of itself has flavor so that was no problem. The mash was decent, it had some seasoning, but overall everything just lacked a depth of flavor that you expect from a restaurant of this caliber. My business partner got the ribeye steak, it came with a corn souffle and cherry tomatoes. She said it was flavorless as well. Everything was cooked perfectly, but just lacking flavor. She also got a iced tea, which she said was also not the best. We also got dessert- I got the chocolate cake, she got the cannoli. Both of which was underwhelming- we did not finish the desserts at all. Actually only took a bite of each and called it a night. We did have an appetizer (calamari) which was arguable the best thing of the night. I wouldn't recommend and I'd only return if someone offered to take me there, and I'd only say yes as to be kind, but if possible I'd strongly deter. Food was THAT mediocre and simply not worth the price they charge. It was also very cold in the restaurant and took a while for them to bring the entree. The restroom is about a 3 minute walk down the hall from the actual restaurant, which is also a negative. It was a thursday night, and the restaurant was kind of empty, which is also not a good look. I think they are at the point of running their course, but because they are near O'Hare, it's probably keeping their business afloat. The food, the ambiance and the overall experience was not worth the money spent.

It was good but should've been better. Interior was beautiful tho. Good drinks & generous wine pours. Cesare was okay but Arancini was mid- tasted like it was reheated before it came out. For dinner the Campanella con gamberi was delicious. Not a bad meal but would choose another restaurant in the rosemont next time

Although I was annoyed with the parking which forces you to valet even though there are spots right outside the door that they blocked off, the ambiance is very nice and Italian inspired. The service was just OK. When I asked how the non-alcoholic beer tasted, he replied "Italian". Not very helpful. My tilapia was cooled wekk but the sides were not what was listed on the menu. It was supposed to come with carrots and a farro in white sauce - no peppers. The bread pudding was good. Overall, not a great experience, and I would opt to not return given my blood pressure increased rather than decreased during the meal.
