Whether you're looking for a night out of going dancing, dinner, grab a few drinks with friends, or taking the kiddos out for some fun, MB Financial Park has it all. The way that the whole park is set up is really cool. Imagine a football field in the center of it all, then all around that football field is a mixture of restaurants and bars that turn into dance clubs after dark when the kids are in bed. There is even a bowling alley called Kingpin. The restaurants found there offer different menus, and I'm sure that even for a picky eater, you'll find something for you. Adobe Gillas is catered towards Mexican food, the Sugar Factory offers American food with awesome dessert options, and the Hoffbraus is a German bar. Keep in mind that most of the bars here offer those GIGANTIC fish bowl drinks of liquor! Yes! Remember that football field I mentioned above? Well during the summer, it is a grassy field that you and the kids can choose to run around on, and during the winter, it turns into an ice skating rink! I believe admission is free and you can either bring your own skates or rent some there. Aside from all that I just mentioned, there's a comedy club located here as well. During the summer and the winter months, there are always some type of fun family oriented activities and events going on. Parking is usually free when I go and they have their own parking garage. But some dates may vary so definitely check their website to make sure. Definitely check out this awesome establishment! Oh and there is an outlet mall right across the street! :)

Great area to hangout!! I have done a bar crawl here so been to each place once at least and some of them (like Adobe and Kings) several times! The atmosphere and vibe is chill and less crazy than city but a happy medium. Great thing is that you can get your parking ticket validated anywhere and save the money. From great Mexican food to bowling at Kings to fancy drinks (I.e.e Sugar Factory) you can never be bored and have many options! I have not tried the Indoor Sky Diving but supposed to be a great experience. Right across is the Fashion Outlet Mall so that is convenient and around the corner is Muvico movie theater and the steakhouse place Foga de Chao. Lots to do!!! In the summer the middle area is green and good for kids to play and have fairs/live music . In the winter there is ice skating and hockey games! Definitely recommend for everyone! :)

If your in the Rosemont area and seeking an exciting day trip or a night out in town with friends, look no further and pay a visit to the MB financial park. The park has a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. It is home to Kings bowling alley, IFLY Chicago, Zanies comedy club, Muvico, and is right next door to the Fashion Outlet mall if you need some "retail therapy." You can always find something to do here year round. Check their calendar of events for seasonal activities. In the summer they headline major outdoor concerts (Gavin DeGraw is supposed to be here this month) and in the winter, they have ice skating in the park. Their parking garage is huge and your guaranteed to land a space regardless of the time of day. Don't freak out over the $15.00 parking fee at their garage. Just validate at any of their restaurants or at Kings bowling alley and your fee is waived!

I do have to say that this is not a bad hangout spot and this is why. 1-you can come here with the family during the day and enjoy the artificial grass during the summer/ during the winter there is a ice rink. 2-at night there is plenty to do for adults and family as well. From bowling alleys, restaurants, indoor skydiving, pubs, country clubs, pool tables, clubs. 3 this place has a little bit of everything which I like. Indoor parking, plenty of parking garage space which you can get your ticket validated at any bat you visit and your parking is free :) 4- there is also movie theater. 5 this place is very cool. I recommend. I like coming here once in a while.

We came here for one of the summer free concerts. They happen on Thursdays. Basically the bars / restaurants located here set up tents selling various libations that you can purchase while you watch the band. Prices were okay. Service was okay. If you are staying at a hotel nearby, it may be worth checking out. Otherwise, I would not go out of my way to be here. And if you drove and parked, make sure you get your parking validated!

I had seen an episode of 24/7 City Secrets which featured MB Financial Park at Rosemont. Since we were heading over to the Donald Stephen's convention center, we thought we'd stop off here to check things out. The park is pretty much a restaurant park with one place for bowling and another place for indoor sky diving. I thought there would be more entertainment here. There is supposed to be a shuttle bus that goes from MB Financial Park to the Outlets to the Convention center and back but the shuttle bus never stopped at the designated shuttle bus stop. We had no idea how to catch the shuttle. A good idea but poorly executed. I don't think we'll be back unless we're at the convention center again. A bonus of MB Financial Park is that they validate your parking ticket with purchase at one of the businesses. We saved $13! yay!

I guess this is where I write about ice skating at Frozemont? As a non-ice skate owner, I much prefer going to Millennium Park downtown for free skating. The skating rentals here need a lot of work. First you encounter the long lines which snake outside. Then when you get in, you realize that it's long because they have a very short supply of skates. You have to put your name down and give them your ID to get on the list...not sure why they need my ID, it'd make much more sense if you gave them it when you actually got skates. The inside tent filled up fairly quickly, to the point where we were asked to wait outside to hear our name called by the loudspeaker. You can guess where this is headed. My sister's boyfriend and I never heard our names, and when we went in to check on it they told us that they were looking for us. Great. They don't hold on to your shoes for you. So in the small changing area in the tent, there were piles of shoes. Luckily my girlfriend isn't a skater and offered to watch everyone's shoes, but evidence pointed to the fact that many just had to hope their shoes would be waiting for them. Cherry on top - once I finally got my skates on, the damn zamboni came out. The bane of all ice skaters. Can't do much about that. Overall, it seems like it'd be fun if you bring your own skates, but you'd still need a way to hold on to your shoes. It's nice that suburbanites have access to a big free rink but there are better options in the city.

I loved skating here. Loved the lights! Great setting! We have skates so parking was free! I don't see what peoples problem is! The signage was easy for parking... if you read you will know where to park. Kids had a blast and the people working for the rink were nice. They taught my kids how to get up easily from falling. We also stopped over at the mexican joint and they had $1.50 tacos. Score!

I enjoy the area for specific events such as fireworks in the summer, haunted house in the fall, and skating in the winter. The restaurants can be pricy, but they validate parking. I come here when there is an event, not just to come here.
