i would give 5 stars for the service alone. there were probably one or two workers when we went on a sunday afternoon and they were trying to keep up with the pick-up orders, pre-dinner rush, and customers inside. they do not fry their chicken until you order it so there's no fast food about this. and even with the mayhem, they had the biggest smiles and hospitable demeanors hiding their exhaustion. well maintained facilities, though it was a bit hot inside and could use more AC. the halal chicken was soooo seasoned and juicy. i ordered a single tender for my chicagoland food crawl and my friend got mozzarella sticks. i enjoyed the taster and would come back for more.

This place has apparently been open more than two years but I didn't know. Decided to give them a try. Prices are a bit high, so for my 1st time I ordered 5 wings. The lady who took my order talked me into getting fries too, so my order went from $6.99 to over $12. It was good though! They have 3 sauces; mango habanero, buffalo and barbecue. I chose buffalo and was happy to see that it came on the side, in case I didn't care for it. My order took about 15 minutes and was still hot when I got home. The chicken was seasoned well and fried perfectly. The fries were good too and both were delicious when dipped in the sauce. I will probably try the mango habanero next or maybe one of the pricey combos. If it's good I don't mind paying!

Dont ever eat here they gave me raw chicken wings and they didnt give a refund nor did they ask to re make it which i wouldnt want anyway since every single 10pc wing was raw and i did check.

They're open late which is an upside. Street parking. And I love their Byrd bomb. I must warn you though, it is quite heavy. But if you're feeling like you deserve a cheat day and want something unhealthy but tasty then stop by! Portion size is decent as well.

Wanted a hot chicken sandwich and this place came up so we decided to try it out. The eating area was clean but pretty empty and there was one woman working hard to take orders and make the food. The wait was pretty long but again it was one woman working at the time. After we got our food, she had gone around to the three parties eating and apologized for the wait and offered extra fries. The food was delicious, a little pricy, but overall we liked it. Since there was only three parties at the time I went, it wasn't crazy loud. The music choice was nice, too.

Greetings my Foodzies , the other day I went to Skokie for my obligatory emissions test and we found this restaurant on the upside app. Byrds hot chicken at 3849 Oakton St. Skokie. A decent size place with wooden tables and banquet style chairs. Counter service with retro music playing throughout the restaurant. We both ordered the chicken sandwich combo Glenda had the mild and I opted for the Hot. The combo came with fries and potato salad, no drink, that was separate. The sandwich was made fresh and good size, it was moist and the breading was crunchy with a good flavor. The hot sandwich was spicy but not what I consider hot. The sandwich had the usual; coleslaw & pickle slices along with what they call a 24K sauce. The sauce was nice but nothing for the sandwich. The potato salad was a little vinegary which was a bit of a turn off. All in all not bad. I give this restaurant 4 stars. Try it out and let me know what you think. Ciao Ciao for now .

This shit was the worst shit I've ever had. I thought I was litterly eating my own poop that's how bad it was. Never again. The service was completely fucking booty checks while the stupid worked was laughing at me because I wanted 5 chicken fingers. Never again I hated this place.
