Everything! Had our wedding there on 2009 I wrote a review back then and we were very pleased with the venue from the banquet hall itself, the food and bar and the staff was excellent to work with and the value was awesome. It's been a long time since we got married there and things Could have changed but it seems people are still giving them good reviews and from our experience I would highly recommend.

My friends had their wedding here this past weekend. The place is picturesque and has a rustic feel. My only complaint is that a lot of the servers only spoke Polish. I understand that this was a Polish wedding, but we are in America and it would have been nice if one of the servers had said "you're welcome" to my numerous "Thank You's". I'm still giving this 4 stars and I think it's a spectacular place to host a wedding. The bartender was so friendly and really knew how to make a drink. If you've never been to a Polish wedding come ready to drink and eat!

Beautiful venue but not worth it. booked back in 2018 for our wedding in October 2019. We spoke with a lady named Hellen who showed us the castle room which we loved how it looked and fit our theme. During the showing and contract Hellen stated the room sits 70 to 120 people. She also stated that since we are having our wedding on a week day. We could use the room next door for a dance hall or to hold the ceremony. Contract was signed and off we went. We went to a tasting back in February 2019 which was good. They didn't Serve all items they had to offer. Sad since I was doing family style and I had to guess for some food if they would be good or not. During this time I spoke with Hellen again regarding chir covers and tables. She said that white, black and ivory were free for table. Hellen never mentioned there was sizes or anything. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND. In end of September 2019 I sent an email regarding our food choices, table, and chair covers. A different person contract me named Christina asking me about our final count. Mind you final count number wasn't due till 2 weeks before the wedding. I asked to meet to go over something's thinks due to I wanted to clarify somethings.My husband, my father and mother in-law, and me heads over and meets with Christina. During the meet she was trying to upsell when we said no and admitting she was trying to get us to spend more money. Christina make comments about my wedding since it's on holloween that she has had issues in the past from other wedding causing damages and being crazy. I told her it's not going to be like that. She then said table covers are $10 each and on top of that the room that was offered to me was now booked for another wedding... I was shocked and upset. We went in to the office and I asked questions about how was this going to work with 2 wedding be so close to one other. Christina responded with the DJs need to respect one another.... I was taked back by this comment. I then ask what about the bar? Since it on my side how was that going to work? Christina responded with theres a window and there will be another bartender. Christina then asked would we be married the day of the wedding? We told her yes... During this time I asked when was this other wedding booked. She responded with the day after you did. Me not know what to say next I left. Now I recieved a packet from Hellen in the beginning so I looked at it. I seen that there where so many issues so I returned 3 days later and spoke with Christina. I asked more questions as the following.Why are the tables covers $10 when here in this packet I was given by Hellen it says black table covers are free and even Hellen tolde they were?.How are DJs going to respect one another when there job is to entertain.? When toasts are being made are we going to hear them or is it going to be a battle of the DJs?.Finally why was we offered, promised and not contacted about the room next door?. Christina kept saying it's not in the contract so I don't know what you want me to do. I need to talk to the other party since they booked 2 months ago... I looked at he and repeated 2 months ago? To which she replied yes... I was so upset I asked for Hellen who did the contract and said do you two not communicate with one another? At no time did Christina get Hellen or offered a solution or compensated for all the hassle. To which I said why can't they go upstairs since I was the first to book, no one look like they want to fix this. Christina said I'll talk to the other party and we will see. We left I was still upset since the day was getting closer.4 days pass and I recieved and email from Christina stating. The other party had similar concerns regarding the DJ and they were going upstairs. I responded with thank you and I'll see her 2 day before the wedding to set up.The day of set up... I head over to Royalty west banquets with me mother in-law. As we are setting up Christina and her employees kept spying on us not saying a word. We felt uncomfortable and upset but we tried to pay no mind and finished up.Day of wedding.I got a lot of complaints that the place is beautiful but the staff are horrible. The bartender had an attitude with my guest. The waitstaff took long to serve food and clean off tables that my Dj,videographer and photographer ended up saying something. Due to not clearing off tables they kept running over my guest and myself not saying sorry or anything. One of my guest said something and she said ok I'll go around... And just like that she ran through people again not caring. If your wondering about the food I was cold... I was not happy about that.. We asked for my top tear cake which should have been wrapped and in a box... So I think... I was given to us in wrapped on the sides with plastic/ tinfoil no box.Now what I hope you wonderful brides take from this in shorter terms please go somewhere else.

Wedding planning is such an amazing and fun process... Yep... Let's face it people... It's rough these days attempting to find a place that offers everything you want for a reasonable price! We shopped around a LOT! Most places that fell within the "banquet hall" category were outrageously priced for a dinner / drinks package. Other places that were more along the lines of "thrifty hall" locations were cheap yet required a lot of work on the part of the renter. Royalty West was more than we could ever have asked for! We had a Renaissance Faire themed wedding. We made almost everything that was incorporated into the event as well (even our outfits and those that were worn by our party and family). Unfortunately, due to the rains in the Chicago area we were canceled out of our outside ceremony site and left for the reception hall early. Royalty West was so accommodating it was absolutely amazing! While the finished preparing our meal we had our ceremony on the dance floor. The ladies who assisted with setting up our event even poked their heads in to watch which was fine with us! Dinner was to die for! It far exceeded our tasting and our expectations! We had the Chicken & Rice soup and Potato salad to start. We moved on to our Family Style entrees which included Chicken Devoli, Roast Beef in Mushroom Gravy, and Veal Meatballs with Rice & Dill Sauce. Our sides included Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Sweet Corn, and Potato Dumplings. There wasn't one complaint about the food! People were cleaning their plates! The servers and bartenders were absolute delights! One bartender knew that there was only one thing on the menu that I could have. He also knew I was the bride and was prepared without me saying a word to him every time I came near the bar! Even if I was talking to someone I would turn around to a full drink! When I politely asked that our head table be broken down for the band to begin *pow* It was gone! People have been telling us that it's the best wedding that they have ever been to and I realize that is mostly due to our planning... Some of that goes to Royalty West though! They were absolutely great hosts and so reasonably priced that we couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else! Even the dozen or so crashers from upstairs had a better time at our wedding than the one they were at! ;D

I was SO excited to have my wedding reception here. I was looking for something unique. Let's face it, no one remembers the wedding in a hotel banquet hall and that doesn't fit my fiance and I anyway. I found Royalty West and it was perfect. A castle with a nice ballroom, knights that greet you, awesome grand stairways. I was in love. We were hoping to have our wedding on November 2, but they were booked already. Darn. I was told November 9 was available and so I had to have it. I spent the next month trying to find an available chapel and dj for the 9th before booking Royalty West to make sure it would all work. All the while, I kept in touch with at least 2 employees via visits, email and phone to make sure the date of the 9th was still available among other things and was consistently told that it was still available. So today I went with my fiance. We signed the contract, once again checked the date of November 9 and cut a check. I was more excited than you know because I had found the perfect spot and was able to get a chapel and dj reasonably priced available on the same day. Not 30 minutes later...I get a call from Royalty West. SOMEONE ELSE HAS THE BALLROOM BOOKED FOR NOVEMBER 9. Um what?! Did this just happen?! No, it had been booked since August of this year. So at least 2 employees have for a month believed and told me that November 9th was available? My advice to you if you love this place like I did would be to talk to all three of the employees there that handle bookings and stand over their shoulder as they check both the calendar AND the book to determine whether the hall is available. I am still in shock and very sad.

Very beautiful place and it looks like a castle! Perfect for the bride who dreams of having a fairytale-esque wedding. My favorite thing about this place is the bartender. He was an older gentleman who at first sight looks like he can pour a mean shot of whiskey but nothing else. That's what I get for judging a book by the cover. This grey haired gentleman could make everything from gimlets and old school martinis to apple martinis, long islands and creative shots for groups of at least 15! Kudos my friend. Now back to the space: overall very cute and interesting but the location is definitely off the beaten path so plan accordingly.

I had my wedding here two weeks ago. The wedding was for almost 300 people. First of all, try to work with Christina. She is great at her job. Since the wedding was so big, I had a lot of questions and needed a lot of help. She responded to all of my emails within 12 hours. It felt like she was always on my side, unlike a lot of the other Polish banquet halls that only want your money. She delivered with every request. Absolutely great customer service. They let us come early to welcome early guests and we stayed for an extra 30 minutes afterwards, without an extra charges. The servers were professional and quite fast. The bartender was also quite good. The food was okay, which is why I'm only giving 4 stars.However, unlike other banquet halls, RW allows outside catering in addition to the food they provide. Since the wedding was so large, we got an appetizer table, a sweets table, and additional catering at 11pm for the late guests. All of our compliments about the food were about the extra tables. Overall, I would recommend this place. The venue itself is really beautiful and they have wonderful customer service. But if you plan to have a large wedding, cater food from outside vendors.

We had a Quinceanera here last month. From the first day we went to see the hall a year ago we knew this would be an amazing place to hold our event. The staff was extremely friendly and easy to work with. Even during a pandemic we felt assured our family and friends would be treated to a safe and fun evening. The food was delicious and everything was so clean and elegant.
