Okay guys, don't be confused with this one, there is another pizza place called Pizza & Pint in Sylacauga, but I'm not sure which one came first because this one is also named Pies & Pints, I think I prefer the term "Pies" over "Pizza" but hey that's just me, let's get this show on the road.

Food: Self explanatory, garlic bread with marinara sauce, this sauce is consistent, it melts in your mouth, the texture and flavor really is tingly and like a sensation. The pizza which was a Nashville Hot flavor, (still need to go to Nashville myself lol) , is a classic among enthusiasts. Affordable prices and high quality food at best.

Service: Upon entering the restaurant, there were dozens of people sitting already inside. While waiting at the counter,  an older lady helped to find us our seats. She was very nice and kind. Told us what types of drinks we wanted and if we were ready to order. Of course, knowing me, I would always get water.

Atmosphere: The look of the pizza place has a New York style vibe to it. It's almost like they serve deep dish pizza. But I'm pretty sure they serve more than the other pizza place, for sure.

If you're in the Birmingham metro area. Consider giving this place a try.

Just discovered our local outpost of this national chain and were blown away! Extensive menu of unique specialty pizzas, great upscale sports bar atmosphere, and ths staff was very friendly and helpful. They even have a passport where after 8 specialty pies, you get the 9th for free! Went on a Saturday for lunch and it wasn't too busy. Two patios for when the weather's nice, too.

Ordered a small Peppadew, a small Mozzarella Caprese, and a glass of Southern Tier Pumpkin Imperial Ale. Everything was excellent. High quality ingredients, and the caprese was one of the best we've ever had. Excited to come back and try everything else!

The bar area is great for solo travelers looking to unwind, sit among people while also being alone.  There's plenty of space for families or groups etc  in addition to the bar area.  The atmosphere is good.

I will say the beer selection is actually very good and the bartender was able to make an excellent auggestion with the Straight To The Ale Honeysuckle Blue (German Hefeweisen) brewed in Huntsville, AL.   This was an excellent beer.  🍺 It was also so incredibly refreshing to NOT have somebody try to sell me on an IPA when I really just wanted an HEFEWEISEN.

I ordered the wings for the appetizer but did ultinately choose to send them back when the centers were still cold when served.  As a Food Safety Manager I just dont take chances with any poultry product.  That being said, they handled this quickly and professionally and I ultimately opted instead for the Street Corn pizza and the brownie dessert.

The pizza was the best part of the evening.  The bartender had another great suggestion to add chicken and I'm glad she mentioned it because I do agree with her- this pizza with the chicken is truly magnificent.  IMHO it should come with chicken on it as the standard.

The brownie I asked to go as it was near closing.  They did inform me it wouldn't come warmed because it would be boxed (which made sense) and I appreciated them letting me know.  When I got home I did assemble myself by just pouring the "ganache" over the slice.

The menu description reads "Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Terrine alternating layers of brownie & peanut butter ~ covered with chocolate ganache."   The cake size is absolutely dismal for the price.  There are many high-end pastry shops who make their products FROM SCRATCH and sell cake/brownie slices for less in larger portions.  The "ganache"  was nothing more than runny store-bought chocolate syrup.  You can confirm this visually just by the way it pours out at room temperature, the thin watery-like consistency and the actual taste is something akin to really cheap off-brand ice cream chocolate syrup.  Cake artist aside,  this is not something you want to spend your money on.  You're better off going to the grocery store and getting an entire cake for just a bit more.

Just by observation you could tell the bartender was really the only team member truly hustling to get things done.  Her other staff were not making her job any easier by taking frequent sitting break in areas where they thing customers won't see them. All the while she is answering phones, taking orders, trying to keep customers happy and tend bar.  I think she was even technically the hostess.  Companies should value workers like her and set her up for success.  Get rid of the the others- they make the customer service terrible and her day bad, too.  I am only giving this a 5 star review on sevice because that is specially for HER service-  not the actual restaurant.  Overall,  the restaurant's service as a whole would be marked at a 2 otherwise.

Great staff, great food. Amazing environment, and friendly patrons.
My family stopped here after a concert. 2 of my party has allergies. They were great, and the cauliflower crust was enjoyable.  My pizza was cooked perfectly and delicious. The price point is a bit high. But the hand-tossed,  brick oven-fired pizza was worth the 20.00 each.
I will be back!!!
