Miraculous!!! From the moment you walk in the door you feel at home and the food feels the same way. It is constantly the best food in Birmingham for me. The food is fresh, perfectly cooked, and equally unique and familiar. I can only attribute this to the love and care that the owners and employees put into Yummefy. I have and will always recommend Yummefy to anyone looking for flavorful food at a great price and wonderful service. 11/10! I love Yummefy!

Amazing Affordable Indian Food in the Heart of Birmingham

If you’re looking for flavorful, affordable Indian cuisine in Birmingham, this spot is a must-try! The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, with tender pieces of chicken that melt in your mouth. Pair it with their garlic naan, which was fresh, soft, and loaded with garlic goodness, and you’re in for a treat. The portion sizes were generous, making it an excellent value for the price.

To finish, the rice pudding was a delightful surprise—light, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweetness. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service were the cherry on top. Highly recommend this hidden gem for a satisfying and budget-friendly Indian meal!

We stopped here for the first time when we were in town for a concert. I tried the Spicy Basil Chicken and my hubby tried the Butter Chicken. We also had the naan bread. Everything was delicious. Based on other reviewers, I got mine medium spicy—next time I will definitely get it hot. It wasn’t very crowded and the service was good. We’ll definitely be back.

I ordered the spicy basil chicken stir fry, and order of spring rolls and some Momo(not pictured). Everything was incredible. I got medium spicy and it was a nice heat without melting my insides! The spring rolls were fresh and crispy.

It wasn't busy,  the staff was nice, and once your food was delivered, they weren't hovering around every 5 seconds. Very appreciated to be able to eat peacefully, but were quick to bring a refill when needed!

My only complaint was it was quite stuffy in the restaurant. No AC made it a bit uncomfortable, but otherwise I really enjoyed it and will definitely return on a future Birmingham visit.

We had a wonderful meal on our first stop through Birmingham. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing food from across the Asian subcontinent!
