I have a lot of dietary restrictions and they had things on the menu I could have. Both of our food was very hot, came quickly and was abundant! We will stop when we come through here again.

Had a taste for some lamb chops and visited this place. Very nice family owned restaurant. I notice a lot of locals comes in and staff pretty much know what they are ordering.
I couldn't drive back to my place fast enough to devour the delicious smell in passenger seat!
OMGoodnesssss! Sooo, hot and delicious! I didn't have to add anything! The lamb was juicy and tender... grilled to perfection! My grilled veggies were on point, buttery and well seasoned, along with the potatoes. My man loved his pita pizza, he said next we have to go and sit in and eat. Sorry the pics are not up to standard, but it does show how we were devouring that food. Hands down 10/10!!!!

We had an amazing meal and experience here for date night. It's always been one of my favorites, and I hate that they are not open every single day. Catch the right day, and you will have an amazing Italian meal.
I had Fetticini Alfredo with seasoned chicken that was out of this world. I also ordered fried mozzarella that is real mozzarella, not sticks of some kind of cheese. The loaves of bread offered freely at the beginning are fresh with a soft center and crusty outside, as Italian bread should be. Olive oil is available for dipping as is butter if you prefer. The salad was fresh and just wonderful with homemade blue cheese and homemade ranch dressings. I can not find another restaurant that puts as much love into their food as this place. My date ordered their made to order canaloni with their wonderful marinara meat sauce. I could drink the marinara it is so delicious.
The restaurant was almost empty as it was close to closing time, and yet we were welcomed inside and treated very graciously. Our server was on top of everything we might need, including refills of tea. She was friendly and knowledgeable. The chef visited our table to  check on how we were enjoying our meal and made us feel at home. Again, I wish they were open more often as I could eat here every day and never tire of the food bc there are so many options.
The restaurant is immaculately cleaned, and so are the restrooms. I can not say enough good things about this place. There is a bar with an extensive wine list, and normally, I try to sit in there, but for a change of pace, I take a booth in the main dining room.
If you've not eaten here, you are missing out as it is one of THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANTS in Trussville. The prices are amazing for the amount of food received and you will be able to eat twice.
Looking for a fantastic, authentic Italian meal and great value for the amount received, then this is the restaurant for you.  Great date, night, food, and service. All you could ask for and more. This is also excellent for a family meal. Very family oriented. Willl will definitely return soon.

If the bathrooms are representative of the backend, holy smokes. Gross.

That said, we very much enjoyed the food. It was great. Fresh and delicious!

But, it's so hard to overlook such gross bathrooms. It's not like the management, and cooks don't use them too.

We won't be back.... We'll go to the one in Hoover.
