Explore Juneau is a solid car rental service that offers reliable transportation to get around Juneau. If you're coming in on a cruise, they will pick you up at the front of the cruise terminal and bring you over to the rental car area. They offer a wide variety of vehicles to choose from such as sedans, SUVs, jeeps and I believe mini vans too. Their prices are affordable and I highly recommend.

Renting a car here made for one of our best adventures yet! Ida made it so easy to get into a new car with all the bells and whistles like navigation and gave us excellent maps with extra-special points of interest to see by car. We went much further than any of the cruise excursions would have taken us. We saw the most amazing sites, stayed warm and dry when everyone else was huddling for shelter in the pouring rain We had heated seats and a smooth ride at our own desired pace! We drove just under 100 miles total and tried to hit as many of the 14 sites Ida outlined on the map including a wonderful "dive" called the Sand Bar

Ida, and everyone that worked there were helpful and enthusiastic about ideas of what we could do in Juneau. We decided spur of the moment to rent a car one day to explore on our own. Would highly recommend that and to use Explore Juneau!!!

Chris was great! Called the same day and he had a car for us. We were able to explore the whole island! We were able to see Eagles, Bears and eat wonderful Alaskan King crab all while traveling in a warm vehicle! Highly Recommend renting a car for the day!

Great service. Picked us out of a crowd to tell us how good of a deal they had for us. for about $200 we got a rental car, a nice 2024 Subaru crossover type vehicle. The biggest worry they helped us work through was we had our toddler son in a stroller, and coming from a cruise ship for several hours to visit Juneau we didn't want to use the public / mass transit transportation. This was a very reasonable price, they included the car seat for our son (one less thing to carry our or worry about). They gave us a coveted self produced map with all the popular spots to check to in Juneau, hand writing in extra points of interest not on the general maps. They gave us tips on a better order of scenic stops to help us beat the crowds. We had from friends we met on the ship and they had family in Juneau and due to the advice from Explore Juneau, we kept running into these friends and all the popular and lesser known sites. Getting to park and drive at our leisure and time schedule and let our son get his naps made for a perfect experience. All the staff with this company was very professional and personal. From the friendly man who did all he could to honestly convince us that the rental car for the day was the way to go, to the man who brought us over from the dock shuttle area to the rental location, to the ladies who helped us process the paperwork. They also had two friendly dogs that my son enjoyed petting while we were getting things set up. The return process was also straight forward and we had no hiccups on the back end.

great new small business! great customer service when reservation was made and when we were in Juneau, thank you Ev & Chris. we rented a car for our one day in port. rental counter is an easy walk from the cruise ship and you can return your car after business hours. it was raining hard when we arrived in port, Chris came and found us and drove us to the rental counter, thanks for the great customer service. check out more reviews on google&tripadvisor.

Great car rental business. Easy access right next to the cruise ship port. The cars are new and the staff is friendly and helpful. They provide you with a map and suggestions on areas to visit. Why book an expensive crowded excursion from the ship when you can rent the car all day and take your time to see all the beauty Juneau has to offer. Thanks again for the awesome service!!
