I have been a member of AAA for over 40 years. Until today I had never seen a AAA service person put a vehicle onto a tow truck. On my way home returning from the buffet at Prairie Band Casino my son and his wife stopped for gas and food at the Petro Deli a few miles south of Prairie Band. As I sat in the car awaiting my daughter to get chicken and my son to refuel the vehicle, I watched from beginning to end, a AAA Serviceman prepare a car for tow, and mount it on a large tow truck. I, have been described as a type-A OCD person. In this regard I adamantly prescribe to precision and efficiency. With a high dose of both precision and efficiency I watched this professional young man with care and concern position the car for placement on the lift. He took his time and double checked his work as he skillfully moved through the tedious process. Once the car was atop the tow truck, the man went back and checked his work, again. How impressive to know that AAA Servicemen operate in such a stellar fashion. This man whose name badge read, "Alex", made me proud to be a AAA member. What a tremendous asset Alex is to the AAA franchise. I felt like telling the world what a great job he did in behalf of AAA. So, today, I say, "Rock on, Alex! You, indeed, are a "Rock Star"; and, you are appreciated."

** response to local office response- Although I empathize with your position, as consumers, we should not be expected to differentiate between divisions of any service provider, especially one we pay for. You are ALL part of AAA. Each department is a reflection on the whole company. We spoke to member services this morning. This situation has not been resolved. This post will not be removed. Two stars ONLY because the driver was very nice and respectful. Called on Sunday to have a battery replaced. Received a text from AAA telling us to text back any important information. We texted back telling them to have the driver bring a terminal, which they said they would do. See screenshot. Driver shows up. He said he wasn't sure how to connect the terminals and didn't want to try because " I could be driving down the road and something could happen." He then tells us that AAA prohibits them from changing them UNLESS it's a basic wire fed terminal. The Honda model doesn't use a basic wire fed terminal. They should have known what type of terminal was needed when we gave them the make and model of our car. In short, you can change a battery but the car won't run without the terminals. $207 for a battery that we can buy at Walmart for 167 out the door and the car still can't run. What's more ironic is the fact that two other people at AAA dispatch both said that the drivers are absolutely not permitted to change out any terminals ,yet our driver had a terminal on him. My husband, who is not a mechanic and has no experience in this area, bought the terminals just in case and had to teach himself there and showed the driver how to put on both the Positive and the negative terminals . We were so disappointed and shocked by this whole incident that we decided not to proceed with the installation for safety issues. We ended up replacing the battery and terminals ourselves. AAA couldn't and failed to complete a service they offered and was paid for. They are effectively in breach of contract. We see now why there are so many negative reviews.

I am a longtime AAA member. I have used them for numerous tows and tire changes. They have always been pleasant and professional.

Horrible insurance company do not use AAA paid 6 years for their gold policy and my wife was left stuck on the side of the road for 6 and 1/2 hours with a flat tire while I was out of town the manager could care less do not use AAA anybody would be better than these idiots. A month after this happened they denied an uninsured motorist claim through my current clean policy it is currently in court trying to recoup my medical bills. As I sent an email to the CEO and I wasn't kidding when I said I'm going to dedicate my life to making sure everybody knows how sorry this company is. I'm an honest hard-working law-abiding citizen I'm just a regular guy that got the shaft by AAA and I'm tired of getting the runaround I'm going to do everything I can in my power to try to prevent other hard-working people from either a getting scammed out of their hard-working money for borderline joke insurance and a total bunch of clowns and customer service. You go AAA hopefully you lose enough customers to get your act together

Do not use Triple A - their contractor hooked up jumper cables incorrectly and shorted out navigation system. Triple a manager Mike Lake did not investigate. Triple A does not hold their contractors accountable nor do they represent their members with integrity.

I think that the AAA Topeka office is the greatest! I have visited many times to get help with travel plans, and have always found the staff there to be very knowledgeable and courteous Even without the roadside assistance--which I have not had much occasion to use--I feel that my AAA membership provides an excellent value. It also helps provide peace of mind when I am on the road.
