Long wait for food after being seated. Don't come here if you're hungry. We were seated pretty quickly but then the wait was ridiculous.

Would give it 0 stars if I could, food was not good. Got the jalapeño burger and the bun was rock hard, also got orange juice and it was watered down??? It was yellow water. The water also tasted off. Server didn't check on us really. Just bad.

Third time same experience a year. The IHOP in the Holiday Square, Topeka 29th SW. Topeka Ave. is horrible. Unbelievable three times I've been there in a year three times in the year the same lack of service lack of respect, lack of warm food lack of serving the table at the same. The staff at this restaurant doesn't care and it shows.

Horrible experience. My group and I showed up and after 2 hours, only half of us got our food. People who had shown up after us were being served before us. I will say that our group was large, and I can sympathize with the overwhelm, however, there is no reason that half of our group should've been served 30 mins after we showed up and the rest of us left without being served. They got our orders wrong multiple times and overall didn't have the greatest customer service. I personally will not be going back there.

Just had lunch there with my wife, arrived about 130 pm, it took over 40 minutes to get our food. Asked 3 times to get creamer and finally got it with the meal

Not sure if more than half the servers actually know what it means to be a server. Not gonna lie but if someone has the attitude of not wanting to do their job.....every aspect of the job...shouldn't be working. Hearing how other servers act like they know what they are doing, crew leads that don't know how to handle overnight, lack of proper training, and so many other issues doesn't make for a good experience. It may end up differently if staff actually knew how to work the tablets, would get off their phones, would stop acting like they do side work when they don't...aside from the one person who does and gets treated like absolute garbage, management style shouldn't be only one type considering not everyone perceives the same management style, the nonstop drama, disrespect, and blatant laziness. In my humble opinion, most of the servers should go back to training with proper training even if you have to find another server from another location to come in and properly train them, that would be a huge improvement. Also, considering I'm humbly voicing my opinion, not every restaurant is the same type so therefore learning to adapt and change would be beneficial for management. I get the impression that management is overly stressed and overwhelmed because they have a crew that most don't have a clue about what they are doing (mostly front of house). Thinking in the position of the owner of said location, I would wholeheartedly consider finding someone who knows the system so well they can do the job on autopilot to get this location on the right track. Despite the fact that yeah, it would essentially be paying someone or a few people to come in and turn the current situation around, it would greatly benefit the location. Also, thinking in terms of being the owner, to help business, get a sign up or something to bring in more business. Not a lot of people know about it. If they do and had a bad experience, hopefully you'll consider taking these humbly offered opinions, issues, and solutions into consideration so that this location can be better.
