Just not worth the stay. Very outdated, roaches were found. No modernness very old feel to the place dim lighting. Food not good.

We checked in here last night for checkout today, we've been on a road trip for the last 8 days so we've got quite a bit of hotel experience. When I walked into the lobby I was quite surprised by the layout and cleanliness of the hotel, taking into consideration the price of the hotel per night. The lobby was very clean and well kept, we were greeted by a really friendly front desk agent. Check in was easy and quick and I felt like he was thorough with the amenities the hotel had to offer. The parking lot was really big, and made it easy to get in and out of the hotel. The indoor pool was nice, and a decent temperature the only complaint I'd have is that it was small so we Couldn't originally go swimming when we first tried to due to there being no space in the pool to swim. Our room was nice and clean, but the view of the landfill was less than mesmerizing. We ate breakfast at about 8am Thursday morning and was greeted by a really nice gentleman who was the breakfast host. He was extremely personable and made everyone feel welcome who he came into contact with. The breakfast area was extremely clean and well stocked. The area was so clean that you'd think nobody had eaten breakfast at all yet. His kindness really made our experience here even better than it already was. Overall the hotel stay was absolutely amazing, and I'd 100% stay here again and recommend anyone to stay here.

We ended up stopping here for the night and the hotel itself is very nice with a cozy atmosphere. Our rooms was clean as well as the bathroom which is a huge plus. The bed was very comfortable and I slept good which might have been because I was tired from the long bus ride throughout the day and night. I wish I could've used the amenities while I was here, but didn't have time. The way everyone was at the pool looks like they were having fun and the exercise room and the arcade would've been something I would've enjoy doing. There breakfast was ok, but nothing to brag about so I'll just leave it right there.

We have been looking for a place we can rely on when visiting our son in Topeka. We may have found it. While the building,facilities, and rooms are dated, we found it to be clean and in good condition. The beds were comfortable and the shower was clean with good water pressure on the 6th and 9th floors. We slept well here. Breakfast was sufficient and good for the tastes of everyone in our party. The staff manning it was friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us. We enjoyed walking downtown and discovered some nice little shops (chocolate!) and a great place for dinner. It was a little further from where we needed to be but worth the extra few minutes drive. All of our interactions with staff were pleasant. Our needs were quickly met. There was a mildly unpleasant odor in both rooms and the hallways. It may best described as "old" + disinfectant. It only bothered one in our group. Overall, while not perfect, this will be the first place we will look at the next time we visit family in Topeka.

We came here for the night as we were exhausted and wanted to see the Oz museum the next day. When we pulled up, we were surprised by the size of this Ramada. When you walk in, we were pleasantly surprised by the look and size and architecture. The hall way had arches, and the inside courtyard reminded me of Vegas with Paris hotel. We were upgraded again to a suite which was awesome. The room could easily fit like 10 people. Our bedroom was separate from the other room. I even called the front desk to ask if we were in the wrong room as it was huge. The bed was the most comfortable out of any other place we stayed at these past 7 days. The issue of the room was the Air conditioner. We put it on 68. Mind you the room was reading 70 degrees. No way. Felt like 75 degrees. We dropped it to 66 degrees. When you wake up to to 66 degrees you will be shivering. We were kinda still hot in the morning. The other negative was the breakfast. For the amazing hotel you offer the breakfast im sad to say didn't match either.

This is a review only for the Ramada ballroom, where the Topeka Jazz Workshop (TJW) is held. The acoustics are great and the ballroom is always clean with comfortable chairs and big round tables- perfect for talking with friends during intermission. The staff runs a great bar area for attendees of the shows, with beer/wine/mixed drinks, soft drinks, bottled water, coffee, and popcorn freshly popped in a movie theater-style machine. Very impressed by how well everything runs- the staff is top notch. I hope they continue hosting TJW for years to come.

The hotel was FILTHY! There was black mold in the ceiling, the carpet hadn't been vacuumed in our room, there was something all over the curtains, the carpet was bubbled up and the carpet base board was falling away from the wall. There was a puddle all over the floor around the ice machine with a wet floor sign, the hallways smelled of marijuana and there was a giant pile of dog crap in front of the entrance that nobody bothered to pick up. This was the only hotel available in a 60 mile radius that accepted pets and if it wasn't 11pm when we were looking for a place to stay on our road trip I would have driven right past. I can't believe I was forced to pay $140 for one night in this hell hole! I want a refund.

I have been staying here one night a week for two months as they offered free rooms to healthcare workers. I must say that there is no consistency in the check in process. The first several times they only wanted a credit card on file. Most recently a woman, who i presume to be the manager, told me that they needed to copy my ID badge. After she returned she gave me a speech on smoking in the rooms, doing drugs, and having visitors before making sure to mention that I was very lucky that they were giving me a room for free. I am very thankful for the rooms I have been staying in and mind you, they have never expressed any of these concerns with me before. Nevertheless, it was no way to treat any guest. Guests should be greeted with a smile, not hostility. The rooms are a little outdated, but generally fairly clean. Always have fresh white sheets on them.

This was an interesting hotel. Very large with an indoor pool and an outdoor pool shared with an attached set of apartments across a small parking lot. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. There is a covered parking lot near the outdoor pool and plenty of luggage carts in good condition. The breakfast setup was very strange and poorly maintained. You needed a ticket which you gave to an eccentric fellah who would then bring out your plate. Most other items were out of stock and nothing was labeled making it confusing wether it was included or not. The rooms were nice and clean but a bit on the dated side but definitely served their purpose fully. We'd stay here again for sure.

A true study in contrasts. Guest rooms desperately require modernization yet lobby / atrium area is pleasant. The area near the nightstand between the beds smelled distinctly of vomit. The room was otherwise clean. Bathroom had been somewhat updated. Food in the 'diner' was passable. WiFi sporadic. Depressing downtown location might be scary for some. Staff helpfulness and friendliness somewhat made up for shortcomings.
