The girl at the counter was very friendly and dealing with three or four customers at once, including a man who purchased his rental car insurance through Travelocity when he booked through them. However Budget doesn't recognize the Travelocity policy as valid insurance, which caused the poor man to have to cancel the insurance before picking up his car. This is a fail on the part of Travelocity and Budget to allow someone to purchase worthless coverage. Back to the original sentence, the girl was patient and thorough with the inspections even though she was at the Branch by herself. They do seem to need more customer service reps, every time I go in there it seems to be only one person working. This Budget branch is by far the best one I've dealt with in Wichita

I'd recommend them if I or anyone could trust them. I picked up my rental and the agent said nothing about toll fees. Dropped it off and nothing was said about toll fees again. Over two weeks later I was charged for the toll fees and a $50 admin fee. Attempted to talk to them about this and they were extremely dismissive and rude. Sierra K was the worst and shouldn't be in a field where she has to work with people. Avoid this location.

I'd recommend this business if I could trust them. Extremely poor customer service. Staff are rude and unhelpful. Agent I worked with said nothing about toll road rules but it was hidden in my contract. They then stole $50 from me and called it an admin fee because the $10.66 in tool fees wasn't paid. Sierra shouldn't be working for this company as she was the rudest and most unhelpful.

I would in fact do zero stars if possible. The lady at the counter was rude, snide, and not helpful. We have a car with issues right now and needed to go to Dallas to pick up a kid at the airport. We booked it a few days out and then called to confirm it was booked, she wasn't polite on the phone. We had reserved a toyota camry so it would be comfy and have plenty of room for our luggage, as well as get good mileage. This is the first time trying this location, we normally use the airport. Since we were using a debit card we had to show a utility bill and our full coverage insurance, we did, had it ready. I had a declaration page to show the full coverage, she said she didn't want to see it and had to call. She proceeded to call, went through the automated system where it told our comprehensive and coverage amounts, she then insists on talking to an agent, finally gets through, asks about our coverage amounts and comprehensive, argues with the agent on the phone about needing to know our coverage (which she already heard twice) then she got frustrated and said whatever good enough and hung up. Then she tells us she doesnt have a camry, makes so much sense to let us reserve that car without one in stock. So she puts us in a Hyundai Kona, so we got downgraded from a full size sedan with mileage in the 40s-50s to a sub-compact SUV with mileage in the 20's. She also said that she could save us money by having us return the car an hour earlier, because we would pay for one less day, so we agreed. It was uncomfortable, had a tiny tank so we had to stop way more, and was barely big enough for our luggage. We called Budget to complain, they didn't seem to care, did the not my problem runaround, talked to her when we brought the car back, she acted like she had no idea what we were talking about. We brought up getting a refund since we brought the car back an hour early and had prepaid. She also didn't seem to remember that or care, finally to get us out the door she said it would give us money back and to call corporate if we had issues. We called and they said not their problem since we prepaid (so she needs to stop saying she can save people money and changing their reservations) and then they hung up on us when we wanted to escalate the call. We were calm and respectful to the lady and the people on the phone, they were not. I would absolutely never use this location again, she was misleading and rude, and so were the customer service people on the phone.

Not a great experience after I dropped off the rental. I realized I had left a personal item in the truck and tried to call. The automated system was terrible and couldn't get through close to closing time. The next morning I made I drove on site to try and retrieve the item. I was hopeful as the truck was still there however my item was not. It had been "cleaned" but mysteriously the item has disappeared. I take some ownership in that I made the mistake of leaving the item but really wish employees would think of their customers instead of having a finders keepers mentality.

Upon renting my car I chose the prepaid option as we all know you get a great discount doing that. My company put it on the card as they were taken care of the car for me and when I pick it up I use my own card for incidentals as always. I didn't have the company card on me but since they knew me all I had to do was show a picture and I approve the last four digits of my card which I did. I rented the car last Tuesday night. It is now been one week. As of last night my personal debit card was charged. They said the prepaid amount never went through on the other card so they went ahead and just charged my own debit card for the whole rental. Without even telling me. I tried to call the corporate office today and reach some lady named Kathy. She was horribly rude and even hung up on me. I then called the other budget office to talk to Chuck who then told me the manager Adam was not available but he could transfer me to his voicemail. At that time I left a voicemail on what's going on and to return my call. In the meantime another lady from the N. Ridge Rd. office just called and was very very rude. She told me "don't go there" when I told her that she's the one that told me to show her a picture of the card that it was booked on....And also authorize the last four digits which we did. I asked her if anyone called to tell me my personal card was being charged and she said no that I should've looked Myself on the other corporate account to see if that charge ever went through. I even told her I thought she was trying to cover her butt and if she would've been nice I've just been honest that maybe I would've said OK let me help you out but she was unbelievably rude I just can't even believe it . Again my company got that car for me so how would I have known to even look to see if it went through. She was very short and rude with me. All I could do is say thank you I'm handling it and have a nice day. And then I hung up. Horrible experience horrible customer experience all the way around. I think Chuck is the same guy that's been there for years he's always been a nice guy. But after getting my bag stolen in the past from the place by an employee and now this and other things I guess I'm just done now. That's sad.Do not recommend this place especially if the lady is working the desk. After the shit here everyone's how the last thing we need a shitty customer service. And to get taken advantage of. Thanks s budget for screwing up my account I may have an a takeoff work to deal with the after effects. And thanks for not giving a shit.

I always book here to save the airport taxes when I visit family in Wichita. I find the staff is always friendly, but no matter how early I make my reservation, the right car is never there for me. Twice now, I have had to exchange my rental for the "right one" late the same day when it became available. I ended up being upgraded, which was nice, and the right thing for them to do, but would prefer a smooth process that allows me to be on my way.
