I ordered a cake for boss's day with our company logo and it was horrible! The image was upside down and almost blacked out. I asked about ordering another one and giving them a second chance to redeem themselves. Apparently the cake decorator was out..how convenient.

If you're going to buy sushi from a grocery store, this is the place to buy them! It's always soooo good and the chefs are so nice! Bakery..... never had a problem until today. I've bought Valentine cupcakes for my son's daycare party. They're really cute, had lovely vibrant color but holy shit the icing was BITTER af. My son and I brought them home at the end of the day, literally spit it out and gagged after a bite. My four year old son obviously loves sweets so he powered through it and eventually gave up on it. He said it was "naaaasty". Our fingers are still stained after washing it twice. Never buying cupcakes with (colored) icing from here again. I feel so bad for all the kids at my son's daycare.

No matter which Dillon's store I shop at, I know I will get good value, excellent customer service, fresh produce, great cuts of meat and a good variety of shelf items to choose from. Each store has friendly staff waiting to help you with your items, ring you up and help you collect points for cheap gas!

I ordered 50 long stem red roses for my wife birthday. The roses were over $4 per rose, plus delivery. I was okay with that. The roses were to be delivered in the AM, not mid PM as they were. I would describe the arrangement as perhaps a homeless person did it. Not professional.

This Dillons makes homemade tortillas and are some of the best you can find in this area. Because this Dillons is located in a primarily Hispanic area, you can also find a wide assortment of baking ingredients for Mexican food, and in the candy section you'll find all kinds of Mexican candy. Mexican candy is tasty because it combines salty and sweet and chiles in a way American candy doesn't. The staff here is friendly and the store is always clean.

I shop at this location on a regular basis. I receive their weekly Emails that tells me what they have On Sale. Once you Register, you can load Digital Coupons to your card and they also accept Manufacturer Coupons. One of the fantastic benefits to shopping here (or any Dillons or Kwik Shop) is that for every dollar spent you earn a fuel point -- 100 points equals .!0 cents off per gallon. If you buy Gift Cards from them -- they double the fuel points and during the holidays they quadruple the fuel points. The highest amount that I've ever achieved was $1.00 off per gallon of gas. They have a really nice Salad Bar and a Chinese Fast Food with an area to eat inside of the Supermarket. Their Produce dept always has a wonderfully fresh selection. And there is always someone working -- so if you can't find something or are looking for something unusual -- they can help you!! There's also a Deli dept, A Butcher, a Fresh Fish dept. Another thing that I like, that another Reviewer has already mentioned, is they have Huge Hispanic food section. A large variety of Dehydrated Herbs and Chili Peppers. I also noticed that they expanded their Spice section in the 4 years that I have been shopping here. I was happy to see that, since I cook a lot. They have a large selection of Tortillas, Salsas and Condiments. And, just as a footnote, their Asian section is one of the best I've seen in a market that doesn't specialize in Asian cuisine. The Dillons in Derby and Maize don't hold a candle to this Dillons. I moved here 5 years ago from Southern California and was rather shocked by the lack of variety down at the Derby stores. Then when Hubby and I moved to Northern Wichita everything changed!! Hubby can eat Mexican food every single day!! They carry my Husband's 'hard to find' favorite chips -- Arty & Mary's Jalapeno Potato Chips and Guy's Tasty Mix. The staff is usually very helpful. In fact, I am getting ready to start a BIG Canning project where I am going to need a large quantity of Great Northern White Beans with Ham -- so I called there last weekend to inquire about what size bags they carry (otherwise I would order them Online). Diana, from the Florist dept, answered the phone. I told her what I was looking for and she was going to transfer me to someone else -- but since she was located very close to them and she went and checked herself -- came back quoting sizes and prices. How nice was that?!? On the weekends they sometimes have a BBQ or Roaster set up outside their front entrance -- BBQ Ribs or Roasted Green Chiles. Yum!!

This Dillon's is smaller then the rest in town. What I like about it though is how it caters to the community surrounding it well. Ordering specific foods you won't find at any other Dillon's stores. It took me a bit to find a few of my organic foods because they don't have their own section in this store. Overall or has what I am looking more for.

The customer service name Heather, 2 times I send money transferred using WesternUnion, it seems not paying attention when I told her my myWU is not on the receipt she ignored me and instead pay the amount, some Dillons customer service wherever I used their customer service very polite and will attach the receipt, I have to ask her the receipt. I want to ignore this incident but it seems not right. Don't work at the customer service if she had a bad attitude towards us who are shopping at Dillons

This is specifically about the bakery. I put in a cake order on 4/18/16 for a birthday on 4/22/16 online, with a reference image and my contact information in case it wasn't possible to do. I didn't hear from the store.... until the day of the party. They called saying they couldn't get the image to work, so I text them the image and I get a quick response of "I'm sorry I don't know how to do that I can only do drop flowers and roses." This is THE DAY of the party, when I put in the order four days prior. I messaged back to cancel my order and saying how unprofessional I thought it was, never got any type of apology.
