I came to this Popeyes after midnight thinking I could grab a quick meal through the app. Big mistake. I let them know at the speaker that I'd be ordering on the mobile app, they said "OK," so I placed a five-piece meal and six wings. Immediately after submitting the order, the same employee tells me: "We don't have spicy dark meat, only breasts. And we don't have wings, only boneless." Why wasn't that mentioned when I first told them I'd be using the app? Instead, I'm stuck with an order I can't cancel because the app blocks cancellations. When I asked the employee if they could cancel it on their end, she just shrugged and said, "I don't know anything about the app." At the window, I tried to work with them--asked if I could swap the wings for something else, even suggested regular wings if they had them. The employee called her "assistant manager," who basically told me "no" to everything because the prices "don't add up." When I pointed out that none of this was my fault, she straight up told me: "Well, it's your fault for ordering on the app." Imagine telling your customer it's their fault for using the company's OWN app. At that point, I asked for something--anything--to make it right. She left to "call the GM" and told me to pull up by the trash cans and wait. At one in the morning, after being blamed and dismissed, I decided I'd rather leave than risk getting food made with that kind of attitude. Ended up going to Taco Bell down the street. The bottom line: They were out of half their menu and didn't warn me until after I placed my order. No one knew how to handle app orders, and no one cared to try. Management was rude, dismissive, and openly blamed me for their lack of food and poor process. The whole experience felt like a waste of time and left me wondering how this place is even operating. Save yourself the frustration--skip this Popeyes location. Wichita has plenty of other late-night options where you won't get attitude and blame thrown at you.

Why any of us still eats at these restaurants blows me away, I can honestly say that every location in town sucks do to bad corporate management and franchise ownership Remember folks crap rolls down hill this is an ownership issue do to poor and low pay, bad store management and horrificly high prices for a sub par product. It use to be a decent product but i must say with the high prices and poor quality items especially the red beans and rice I paid $3.00 for the regular order and it was half full maybe 3/4 full but thats it i went there two days in a row just to make sure that this was they way they regualarly do things and of course it is. Also the 13th st location in Wichita, ks has always had poor and embarrassing customer service They didnt have what i ordered management didnt try and compensate and her attitude was not friendly and she just wasnt well versed at the whole leadership thing , no surprising you get what you pay for and evidently they are not paying much. The brand itself is lacking in so many ways , with 2 different franchisees in town The product quality, prices and leadership all are still lacking and always have been. They have seen the last dollar of my money and being active the community will advise all family , friends , relatives kids i coach and mentor and their extended family also DONT VISIT POPEYES AGAIN AND WILL LAY OUT DIFFERENT OPTIONS WE HAVE IN WICHITA , KS ARE WHICH ARE VAST AND PLENTY !

Note: I am repeating my prior review here because they (Popeyes) have started to send me emails again. Perhaps they have a poor memory or they think I do. Well, to set the records straight - I don't. I won't be visiting this location anytime in the foreseeable future. That being said, here is my prior review. Help yourself have a better life experience and stay away from the Popeyes location at 4232 W Central Ave, Wichita, Ks. Their service is terrible to say the least. Specifically, on 02/13/2025 at 11:04am, I ordered online 2 chicken sandwiches, 4 piece boneless kids meal. It was supposed to be ready for pickup at 11:12AM. I arrived at 11:13AM, went into the store, and told them who I was and why I was there. Please note that there was another customer at the counter who they waited on before even BEGINNING to pick my order. This other customer completed their transaction and left. I'm still waiting for them to finish picking my order. So much for the order to be ready by 11:12AM. Then they told me that they don't have bottled water, only cups. My kids meal, ordering off POPEYES ONLINE MENU clearly states BOTTLED WATER. I'm not going to give my child a cup of water that can so easily be spilled. I suggested to then to skip the water and add a chicken strip or two. I was told 'they don't do that.' I am sooo frustrated by this point (about 11:29AM) I told them to forget the whole uncompleted, unpicked order and left. I came home and immediately placed an online complaint with Popeyes. The ONLY response I have received from them so far is a questionnaire asking if 'Jessica P' was helpful with my complaint. What the heck? I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING from Popeyes regarding my issue and I don't know who the heck is 'Jessica P'. That pretty much sums up why I am here today. Oh and one more thing - I have NOT received a refund to my CC yet either. Today is 10 days after this event. Just protect yourself and STAY AWAY FROM POPEYES LOCATED AT 4232 W CENTRAL AVE, WICHITA, KS. Your life experience is just not worth it... Just my humble opinion !

That one of their ghost pepper chicken sandwiches asked for extra sauce on the side and they put extra pickles on an extra sauce on it and it was really good cause it was nice fresh and hot. I didn't have to wait but that's I don't mind waiting for that good of food so You know I'd give them five stars but there's always room for some kind of improvement in a business.

Popeye's on Seneca, tried the fish sandwich, was so salty I couldn't eat it, was a piece of fish on a bun with a half of teaspoon of tartar sauce and that was it ! Got there right when they opened and they said they were out of the strawberry cheesecake pies. Really a disappointment

hard to judge service, there is none. waited several minutes inside finally asking to place my order. I was told they have to fill drive thru orders first. not a problem for me. I'll never be back.

The location on Maize Road is new and has just recently opened. I noticed all of the good reviews are more than a year ago when the Maize Rd location didn't exist. The recent reviews showing 1 star are accurate for the Maize Rd location. Management and customer service is horrid!

This is the Popeyes closest to my house and every-time IVE gone, the service and food is spot on. Apparently their customer service isn't the best but to me, I've never had an issue. I usually do go during the day though.
