3.5 stars, rounded up. Out of all the cheap/delivery type of pizza places, I like Papa John's the best. Maybe it's not my go-to pizza, but it's definitely good for its category type. This one is conveniently located in front of Kroger and next to Zesto (yeah!) on Lewis and Clark Parkway in Clarksville. The parking lot is jacked-up though. It's tiny and if you come in from the entrance by the old Blockbuster building, the parking slots are slanted and you can't use them. You have to circle around and it's a pain. I like Papa John's sauce and always get a little extra on my pizza. I also love their thin crust and John's Favorite pizza. Their hand tossed is vegan, for those that are looking for vegan options at a chain. The staff member on the phone for my carry-out order left much to be desired. He was probably new, which is fine, but he could've been warmer and friendlier. He also hung up on me without telling me how long or giving me a thank-you or goodbye. I had to call back and ask when to pick up my pizza. However, I rounded up my 3.5 stars because my pizza was ready within fifteen minutes and it was hot and fresh. The deal was also good and the young girl that waited on me was friendly and efficient. Can't see a reason to not return, especially for a good deal.

Update: decided to try them again because I had kids here for Halloween and again very disappointed order was placed and accepted at 8:20pm with expected delivery by 8:58pm ....checked it at 9:10 time changed to 9:17pm checked it again 9:21pm checked again 9:27pm while I am in Clarksville it showed the driver all the way over in Jeff... I canceled the order Absolutely horrible attitude from employees and was told I was going to get a refund from the GM Andrea Sowders only for her to go back and tell me she was not going to do it but would replace my order. I refuse to go to a restaurant where I was disrespected!!!

OMG WTF hair was baked into the pizza crust. The employees are clearly NOT wearing hairnets. I will never eat at any of their locations again and I will never let my husband order food again because he didn't read the reviews. He should've never ordered from a place with 2.0 stars. I been throwing up for the past 30 minutes. The staff is FYUCKING NASTY AF they ruined my entire night.

Worst I've ever had didn't get our sauces and the one we did just the bottom was covered. Food had no taste and deliverey was over 15 min late.

After ATTEMPTING to order a Pepperoni Pizza with bacon and half also having banana peppers, we got something else... instead we got Half pepperoni, half cheese with banana peppers with NO BACON?!?! It took 6+ times correcting and confirming I meant banana peppers not jalapeño peppers. Our pizza was STILL totally wrong (no bacon was had and who orders a pepperoni pizza with half being without pepperoni's?) Was told 27-37 minutes... it took an hour and a half with no updates to get it delivered. Pizza was cold by the time it got to us. Should have gone elsewhere. Will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered a pizza medium! When I waited too long! I went back in and watched a girl that wiped her nose with her hand and continue making a pizza dough did not bother to wash her hands or wipe it off on a towel or anything. When I got my pizza it made me sick! Could not eat it! Threw it in the trash! NEVER AGAIN WILL I DARKEN THIS DOOR WAY!

Tonight was the exception to the rule. I work in the service industry and always try to make sure to treat anyone else in it, very well. From being prompt, to tipping, polite, yatta yatta... tonight however, I was the ass (pardon the language) We ordered pizza tonight and I did not hear the door, nor the phone ring when it was time to deliver. To be honest me and my daughter were shaving our Samoyed. So I notice it had been 45 minutes and checked the phone. Of course, 2 missed calls.. one from the store, one from the driver. Stain on me... I called the store and spoke with the manager. Zach? Or very similar. He was awesome, gave me the option to pick it up if I wanted, then went out of his way... told me he'd have it recooked and delivered. The driver was great, still had a smile. Didn't catch his name, but def an asset to the team. I did "reward" for the above and beyond second delivery, but wanted to take a second and say thanks. I really appreciate it. My daughter, myself, and of course my Samoyed thoroughly enjoyed the pizza.

We ordered online as usual; they were understaffed and meted delivery out to DoorDash, the dasher informed me they were out of the wings I'd ordered and I'd have to contact PapaJohns for a refund since I'd paid online with PayPal. OK? Why they can't issue a refund?? Why is Doordash calling me instead of the store?? But anyway. So dasher shows up with pizza and brownies--but no 2 liter, says they were out of that too. Now, I'm ticked off--wings we can live without, but we're to eat the pizza without soda to drink? Water and pizza doesn't work. AND AGAIN--THEY DIDNT CALL TO TELL ME OR CHANGE MY ORDER. TBH I would have canceled it and ordered from elsewhere. So I go to call--my store is closed? I call the dasher back and she answered, she picked my order up at Lewis and Clark location, by Kroger. I call there, ask for a manager, hear the employee repeat my request to another woman who says "she'll have to wait"-- and without asking me to hold (not another word to me) the employee sets the receiver down without technically "putting me on hold" and I can hear them talking in the background for the next 15 minutes. Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out how to make a complaint online, getting redirected to call the store manager--duh--or fill out a feedback form, to which the Upper Management will reply within 48 hours. I find my way to a chat line, tell them I'm being ignored while waiting on the phone with the store, explain the problem, and am referred to call the manager back later and Upper Management will be in touch within 24 hours. Frustrated that there is no helpful response anywhere, I hang up, call my credit card company fully intending to dispute this charge, but I can't until it clears. So I call back, they pick up but say not a word, after hearing them talking in the background, they hang up on me. As I'm writing this, I get a call back from the store, but they hang up before I can answer. Im currently listening to their automated messages now waiting for them to answer. Never has service from PapaJohns been this bad. I want a full refund. And I doubt I'll be ordering again if this is how difficulties are handled. Too many hoops to get an answer or resolution, which would have been unnecessary if the store had called me when they realized they didn't have half of the items I ordered... At the very least, teach employees to use the hold button. They finally answered, told me the dasher came back for the 2 liter--but I never got it. So--this is also why you don't delegate it to DoorDash, I guess? Then proceeded to argue that they had called me about my order, even though my call log only showed the one call where they hung up before I could answer--AFTER all this mess started. Then they hung up on me again. Seriously, this is how they treat a customer, rather than listening or trying to resolve matters.

Waited 40 minutes for pizza and breadsticks. For them to give my order away to someone else and had to remake mine. It's such a small waiting area. Only like 3 people working. I felt so bad for them. Apparently it's rocket science to make pizza.

App still doesn't let you log in to let the store know that you're there for a curbside order. Tried calling the store and they never answered my call. Rolled my window down and tried waving at the two employees and they never responded. Had to get my kids out of the car seats and go inside just to wait in a empty store to get my pizza that was within arm reach behind the counter. WHY HAVE CURBSIDE AT THIS STORE? Pizza was good though.
