If you like to bet on sports, this is the hot spot for Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Lots of action, baby! Previously, this was Indiana Grand off track betting for the ponies. But recently a law passed allowing sports betting here on football, hockey, basketball, horses and more! Now owned by Caesar's this place is very entertaining. I've been coming for years and also patronize the Winners Circle in Indianapolis as well. The one in Indy is more upscale and also has a private club area I really love with excellent food. I only mention it as I hope that's what's to come at this venue. The decor is blah, with a need for some better TVs, some horse themed art and more restaurant style food offerings. They have brought in fantastic seats and comfy couches to replace the old carrels and table seats. Nice! I'm told by an insider that there's plans to spiff up the place soon. I hope they class it up so it's a hip spot to be on weekends, people from Louisville need a glamorous spot like that to bet and drink. Churchill Downs is amazing but live racing is not year round and over there you may only bet horses. Here you can bet it all! The lines here can be long so go early on big sports days or you may get shut out. The staff is super friendly and the facility is always well kept and clean. I always have a great time here betting and drinking Chardonnay. Bet big and good luck!
