food is pretty good and the service isn't so bad. i ordered the sushi of the month & a flight of beers & the bartender only bullied me a little bit

Had lunch with clients today at the Drakes in Jeffersonville. The server was on it, but the food took forever to get to us and they were not slammed, food was not great and the prices keep seem to go up and up. Also, the portion sizes of the meals keeps going down at this establishment. I'm starting to veer clients away from the Drakes in the Louisville area and suggest other restaurants. I've also recently quit going to the Drake's at the paddocks due to some of the waitresses. Seem like petty children.

The service was horrible. The waitress was a nice lady and I felt bad for her, but she had no clue what she was doing. We had 2 salads and a sushi roll. Pass on the sushi, you can get better rolls in a Kroger. The salads were decent. The restaurant is nice and open with plenty of spaces between tables and great lighting.

Four of us went to Drake's for dinner on a recent week night. I shared a mushroom Swiss burger. Another had mini cheeseburgers and another had a rainbow tempura sushi. The food and drinks were fine, the servers were attentive and the atmosphere was sports bar. I only have one suggestion to Drake's management. They should get the old Hardee's recipe for mushroom Swiss burgers. The burger portion was good, but the sandwich was pretty dry and not very mushroom-y. I won't order it again.

Went to Drake's in Jeffersonville for the first time. I got the turkey Swiss (I asked for Chipotle Jack instead) avocado sandwich w/ BLT side salad. My wife got the BLT sandwich with a BLT side salad. Both were very good. The bread was toasted nicely. Keria gave us great service, very attentive. There were lots of TVs and had a bit of a sports feel to it. We were there to meet friends we hadn't seen in 30 years. So I was negligent about snapping pics of our food. The 4-star rating was for pricing. Two sandwiches with sides (both salad) and just water to drink were $33 + a tip. It was good and I'd go again. Many places are being ridiculous with prices though!

Sat at the bar for dinner on a Saturday night. We love Drake's and this was our first time at this location. Service slow at first as we were essentially ignored for ten minutes, but picked up after that. Wife got the fried fish minis with fries and I had the BLT burger minis with tots. Bacon was practically raw (see pic) and the tots were way overcooked. I packed up my leftovers because it's nothing an air fryer can't fix, but to serve this to a customer is disgusting. It took them almost as long to collect out payment as it took to serve us our first drink, as the bar staff were focused on cleaning up as opposed to paying attention to patrons. Finally, I went to the restroom on my way out and there was no soap. Poor service, poor execution in the kitchen, and poor maintenance in the restroom - all of that signals poor management. This doesn't compare to all of the Drake's we've been to across the region (3 other states). We won't be back to this location.

The fish platter may well have been the best beer-battered fish that I ever ate. While the loud music and decor were enticing for the younger crowd, for us 60+ years crowd, it was a tad over the top. Nevertheless, the service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. We appreciated our server, Aubrey L giving us recommendations that were absolutely perfect for us. It was an exciting and fun experience. Highly recommend.

Drake's has always been a place I've been curious about and especially since the one in Jeffersonville, Indiana opened. So, I decided to take a trip to go and check it out to see what the hype is all about here as Drake's tour's itself on a great selection of food. The environment here at Drake's is a super casual one. The type you'd find at most American sports bars. A nice amount of TVs to watch whatever event you're interested in. The restaurant has one bar which sit in the middle with plenty of seating circling it. On this particular evening it wasn't overly busy for a late Saturday night. I felt very welcomed here by the staff and didn't feel like our particular server didn't know what they were doing outside of forgetting to bring us silverware and also checking on us a bit too much. The menu is exactly as they claim. Everything, from burgers to chicken along with steak and fish. It was also a nice surprise to see a very good selection of sushi on the menu as well. I decided to first try an appetizer in their fried pickles. They give you a large portion of them along with your choice of dipping sauces. The pickles were extremely salty which took away from their flavor which didn't really make me want to eat many of them. For my main course I went with their teriyaki chicken bowl which has sushi rice, teriyaki chicken, shredded carrots, avocado, fried asparagus and sriracha. This was very delicious and the presentation alone was great but the taste did not match how great it was presented unfortunately. Outside of having a great selection of menu items and cocktails/drinks, my experience felt like it could've been a lot better for a $45 bill after everything I ordered (that includes what my wife ordered not mentioned here in this review). I'll give Drake's another try at some point but not a first choice for me. I recommend giving them a try for sure I just believe there are far better experiences and tastes elsewhere for your money.

Had a great experience here coming in on a Friday around 10 pm. I previously had a sub par visit at the drakes in st Mathews but this location seems a lot better I went for the mini cheese sliders. Very good and came out nice and fresh. Service was very efficient. They had a nice beer selection too. A little surprised at the low rating on here after the solid experience I had. Glad I could give this place some love.
