One of my Yelp! Buddies noted how much Golden Blossom has improved. So we decided to give it another try. And yes, it was better. But there's still plenty of room to improve. They've added some new items, like spare ribs, stuffed clams, & crawfish. No longer did they serve fried chicken wings, instead offering "buffalo" wings soaking in some sauce. I skipped them. My wife loved the new frog legs, although a tad on the salty side. Hot & sour soup is still some of the best you'll find. I appreciated the wontons in a separate steamer so you can add it to your soup. Overall, the buffet was fresh. Tasty. And a nice variety. But they really need to fix the steam tables. Not one dish was actually hot unless it just came from the kitchen. Now, an observation. Initially, we were going to opt for home delivery. Good heavens. Our $35 order came to almost $60 with all the GH add ons. At Golden Blossom our 2 buffets came to just under $35 with tip (and a senior discount). EZ call.

Really impressed at a buffet. They had many options for meat and several of those were NOT breaded. Additionally the food was hot and managed well. Good service and bins also replenished quickly. Overall the flavors were spot on. Great job!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant and just ordered takeout for myself, wife and daughter. I ordered Pork Egg Foo Young and a Large Pork Fried Rice. I also ordered some Crab Rangoon to share. I accidentally ordered Boneless Pork Spare Ribs (Combo), which comes with rice. I just wanted Boneless Pork Spare Ribs without rice. I learned my lesson. I accidently ordered wifey General Tso's Chicken (Combo) which came with rice. We already ordered a Large rice and she rather had more General Tso's Chicken with more sauce, less rice. I learned that lesson twice. I ordered daughter Moo Goo Gai Pan (Chicken) correctly, not a Combo. I so wanted to give 5 Stars, but wife said her General Tso's needed some sauce. It was too bland, lacking flavor. Daughter said her Moo Goo Gai Pan was far and above mostly mushrooms, which she doesn't even eat. She rather have more Chicken, bamboo shoots, baby corn and/or water chestnuts, less mushrooms. I like mushrooms, but I get what she's saying. I told her put the mushrooms to the side and I would eat them. She needs to order something different. The Egg Rolls were good, but their size was smaller than what I had anywhere else. They were more like the size of Spring Rolls. We received MANY condiments which we used and MANY Fortune cookies, which wasn't necessary. I give a strong 4 Stars on this order and suggest the Moo Goo and General Tso's comments be addressed for future 5 Stars.

2nd worst Chinese food I've ever had IN 45 YEARS. You who have given higher scores-obviously have not had REAL Chinese food. First of all Kung Pao Chicken-the chicken is NOT to be fried. Learn how to take orders! in 45 years of ordering chicken chow mein-I've NEVER gotten soup instead...I'll NEVER eat here again but will check bag-elsewhere--thought since order was confirmed 3 x I'd be good to go-for my TO GO order--for which I was NOT going back for an exchange-food too terrible to want a "do-Over"--Don't fault me for being honest....Probably time they actually check their family recipes-for how is is actually supposed to be made---once they do-might be worth a try--- AGAIN I SAY 2ND WORST IN 45 YEARS...

My wife is not a big fan of buffet, but I enjoy them every once in a while. I have seen Golden Blossom Buffet pop up on yelp , multiple times, but I have not been in a position to be across the river to try it. Well, one Saturday I found myself on the right side of the river and remembered Golden Blossom Buiffet. I quickly headed over and was happy to get to try their offerings. I pulled into the parking a little later than I normally eat lunch, about 1:30. I walked in , was greeted by the friendly staff and shown my table. I placed my drink order and started looking over all the various foods they were presenting ... I tried my normal standbys, Hot and sour Sour Soup, General Taus chicken, Pepper Steak, etc... all very good. The Sushi choices were limited, but each of them full of flavor. I happily give them 5 starts because the food was tasty, and even at 2 on a Saturday when there were only a few patrons in the restaurant, they were replenishing or swapping out dishes. Service was great. All in all an excellent buffet for the money .

The food was so delicious. I would give it 5 stars but they charge for 2 year olds. Which I think is crazy, that's the first time we've been charged for her and we go out to eat all the time. And also I was so sad to see they don't have peanut butter chicken :( but everything else was delicious!

Went on Father's Day. The place was clean, they had a wide variety of food options to choose from. The food itself was a mix bag, some of it was really good, some of it was bland, and some of it was no good at all. The server was kind and attentive. Pricing was alright. For a Chinese Buffet, you get exactly what you expect - nothing less.

Good food pick this over the other local China buffet. Went to the other one cause they were closed on a Monday, won't do that again lol. They have chopsticks!
