It's not often that I get to enjoy some White Castle, but when I saw that there was one nearby where I was going to be staying, I had to grab me some. I made my way here shortly after checking into the hotel to grab a meal. When I did get here, I felt like this was the newest thing in the neighborhood, but I also have to say that it's also the most sketchy. I parked and got out of my vehicle and instantly had this feeling that this isn't the best place to be, but I was hungry and I wasn't going to just leave. Went inside and looked the menu over. When I was ready they took my order and all I had to do was go to a table with the number they gave me and they would bring it to me. However, when my food was ready, they just yelled my name instead. Odd, why give me the number in the first place. I do have to say, that the staff here were very pleasant, but it felt like they all weren't on the same page. I'm not going to say much about the food, we all know the food from a White Castle. But I want to continue with the overall atmosphere here. When I chose the table I was going to sit at, I made sure it was a table that had a total view of the space and near an exit in case I needed to get up and go. I also made sure it was a place that I could see outside to keep an eye on my vehicle. While eating, some of the sketchy people outside had made their way inside. I was about half done with my food, pretending that I was in my own world while keeping myself in tune with the space. When I finally finished my meal, I made my way outside and made my way out of here.

It is about 6:30 pm and business is moderate. Shonda is the personable and hard working manager. I ordered a FREE slider for National Slider Day, along with a Panko Fish Slider, Crispy Chicken Slider and small order of clam strips. I'm going to dine in to give a good representation of the fresh, hot food. My food was prepared pretty quick for the amount of diners they had and drivethrough orders. I started with clam strips and Fish Slider which were both cooked well for what they are. I'm from New England so it is impossible to copy whole belly clams or even strips from Massachusetts, but I got my FIX. The fish and chicken sliders had Jalepeno cheese which gave a tiny bit of spice. The original slider is what it always is. I was pleased with the food and more so with the service. I'll be back, Lord willing.

Shout out to the drive-thru associate this evening. We ordered a Number 8, OG sliders and added ketchup, french fries, subbed one order for mozzarella sticks and 2 Big Reds of course. The order was on point and was enjoyed knowing it came out hot and fresh with the long line we waited in. The Associate (they had some cool basketball tattoos) was taking orders, running the till at the first window, and handing out food at the second window. I imagined their step count was up during their shift. It looked like some hard work and we appreciate the kind service.

I urge you to NOT go to this location! White Castle isn't everywhere like Burger King or McDonald's. For some reason, my husband is kinda obsessed with WC even though he had it only once years ago on vacation in NJ. He was very excited to see a bunch in the Louisville area, so we had to stop. After going to Meijer up the road, we came here before heading back to our hotel. Since we don't eat meat, it was nice to see Impossible burgers on the menu. He only ordered 4. Nothing else. We got back to our room and took a bite. It was clearly the beef burger! My goodness to the worker who took the order. He clearly said Impossible. Smdh. He drove back up the street to get the correct order. Thankfully, there are other WC nearby. Don't come to this one.

I went to White Castle in Jeffersonville today and spent my last for a medium shrimp nibblers and fried and was so disappointed actually angry. I got home and found a whole container of burnt niblets so I called back and they told me that I could get another order. I'm a senior citizen and so i sent my daughter back to get another order and they were even more burnt than the first order. Needless to say I will never order there again! The other locations were great with zero complaints. It's almost like the second order was my punishment for complaining. I spoke to the young man named Cody who was very nice and so were the other staff so maybe the cook needs more training.

2.5 stars, rounded up. People either love or hate White Castle. I personally love it and have since I was s kid. I usually eat it once a month or so. I had never been to this location before a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't missing much. The food was typical and fine, but the service was so slow; I mean really slow. They were decently friendly, but they had no problem letting you stand up front without acknowledgement and once my order was taken, it took way too long. Others inside waited just as long as me. They gave precedence to the drive-thru. I think I'll stick to the New Albany location, which has always served me right. I rounded up for nostalgia, personal biases, and Big Red.

Omg!!! Im hung over and in need of hangover white castles, chocolate shake and sack of fries. I get there and there was one person before me and he said he had been waiting ten minutes and still hasn't had his order taken. One car in the drive thru. Manager at the back counter that looked like she was doing last nights paperwork. One cook. No one to take orders. The guy before me finally got his order taken. Had to ask for his drink cup but the machine was down. Then a female shows up for work (late). The manager juat said...oh i was about to call you. The cook was taking the orders and moving so slow. I watched how slow this young man was and decided ti say something. I said "what is going on in here today?" The late female said "I don't know, I just got here". She asked me if i needed my order taken. I said yes but not if he is moving that slow. "Why us he moving so slow?" Manager popped her head up but did not help out at all. I said "Im the one hungover and moving faster than that". I walked out not ordering anything and came back home. Horrible service. Problem is...they werent even busy!!! I have been in white castle and had to wait behind several people plus the drive thru action and still had better service and faster. The manager should get that young man with red hair to move faster in the restaurant industry or its just not for him. The young girl should of shoed up on time. Maybe not put on so much make up and she could have been on time. The manager...know your surrounding. Hire better people and do your paperwork after your customers are taken care of. I wish i could give them a fourth of a star. Im really upset about this. I have worked for the food industry and never gave poor service. If you want to be in the food industry to make a paycheck then you need to appreciate it as much as we appreciate the food industry workers. Yes!!! I am going off about this!

We just ordered some White Castle food from your jeffersonville location through Door Dash and it is wonderful to see that even though the world is in chaos right now one thing stays the same that you can still tell when people put love into their job. The food was great and I am so thankful for each and every one of your employees keeping all of us who cannot leave their homes going with a little bit of normal life.

No Big Red and do they tell you when you pull up to order? No, they let you wait in line forever and when you get to the window do they tell you before you pay? No, they give your change and then say no big red can I get you something else? No! You can give me my money back!
