One of the best experiences with renting a car. I had an issue with booking. David at the counter had great customer service. He helped me with my situation. It took some time but he explained what was going on every step of the way. We also had to upgrade our car since we had to pick up another person. Our older son is graduating from Advanced Camp for the military and we are temporarily hanai (adopting) a fellow soldier whose family was unable to make it. My wife booked the original booking through 3rd party and we payed a decent difference. When we got to the lot Brandon was waiting at Enterprise counter offered his help listened to our situation brought us to the supervisor and he was able to accommodate us. It doesn't end there when we checked out, Jakson helped solidify exceptional customer service. If we ever come back we will rent again from Alamo/Enterprise.

This is a special Shout Out to BOTH JD Stone AND Jodie at Airport Alamo in Louisville, KY. Service was excellent; car was cleaned to perfection and ready on time. Price was great and the no-hassle return went flawlessly. They even gave me a discount due chipped windshield glass that wasn't anyone's fault; they felt bad for the "inconvenience." I would rent again from this local group in a heartbeat.

Need to improve customer service. It sucked. Never answered phones at Evansville airport . Manager never returned calls . Very sad

I've been here when it's slow and when it's busy. They always take them time to greet you and wish you a good day. The last time I was here, the service member remembered me! How nice! They don't hassle you about insurance. You either want it or you don't. They never bother me about any upgrades or additions. I just present my drivers license and they look up my reservation and I am out the door. I've been very lucky with upgrades. I am not an Alamo member. I guess this location is busy and they don't always have the economy size car available. So I've been upgraded to a mid size and full size suv without any extra charge. Nice! I find this dealer to have the best prices at the airport. There are helpful service members outside to guide you to your vehicle. They can mark down any damage as needed. The cars are washed and clean. I've never been overcharged on checkout. I will be renting again. Thank you!

We arrived on the last flight of the night after 1am on 10/16/19 we had a reservation through Costco (great way to save extra money) so no worries about them not having a car for us. We had to wait about 16 minutes in line but counter person was doing his best alone. It turned out there was not much in the way of small SUVs and we got a Jeep Compass. It was a tight fit for 4 people with luggage. It got us to our Air BNB but I knew right away that it was not going to work as we toured Kentucky. I called them the next day and they gladly let me return it for another car in same class. We ended up with a Chevy equinox. It was considerably better. Using the yelp grading I would save a 2 verses 5 star. We will remain a loyal Alamo customer.

We were driving from NC to MS when we had a car problem. Which is fine and understandable because it happens, but when we got to this location to just ask for help. The "customer service " rep didn't even look up from her phone before telling us to just call 1800 and leave. We went to ask more questions and see about a trade out or any kind of help and she escalated saying "not my problem we can't help you. Call roadside." She refused to hear any more questions then when we tried again she said she would call airport police. We have 3 kids just trying to get to a graduation and she said repeatedly it's not her problem. Seriously talk to your employees.

I minor incident occurred which ultimately caused me to incur some unwanted fees. After investigation by Daniel, one of the great attendants that worked with National primarily, and Joshua, one of the Alamo store managers, they quickly remedied the situation and corrected the issue which caused the confusion. I was immediately reimbursed and offered personal assistance with my next rental. Five stars and two thumbs up. Great job guys. My mother (the one with stage 4) thanks you also.

I made my reservation for the car for Alamo through a third party website but making the reservation itself was fine. I brought all my paper work and confirmations with me, when I got there to pick up the car, the gentleman at the desk was honestly less than friendly. He was not outright rude, but really not good customer service. He was short with me and passive aggressive when talking with me. The car drove smoothly, but I had some issues at first. This is going to sound really dumb, but I could not start the car at first. I have never driven a push button start car, my car is not that new. I would push the button and nothing would happen and the screen would just say press the break, which I would do and nothing would happen. Because DUH you have to press the break, hold it, AND press the gas. The gentleman at the counter did not give any info about the car (for me to ask them before hand), and there were no lot attendants (for any company of rental at the company at the airport). I was able to figure it out with the help of a phone call, but it was embarrassing, annoying, and kind of angering. Mid-drive in the rental, there appear a large bug (like the size of a pointer finger from the knuckle to the fingertip) crawled onto my sister. We can't be sure if this was in the car when I picked the car up or if it got in the car when we stop once at a gas station.

First time ever using Alamo Car Rental. Seems to be the same as any other car rental agency I've ever used. * Requires a credit card. * You pick out the car and price you want. * They try to up sell you with absolutely everything. * You eventually sign the thing, get your keys and get your car. Whether it's Hertz or Enterprise or Alamo or whoever, it all seems the same to me. Car was perfect. No complaints. Good customer service.
