When given the option of several cuisines, my BIL who was visiting chose Korean chicken. Happy to have had the opportunity to order from CM Chicken once again! We got a few things from the menu: the Garlic Soy, Red Hot Pepper and Cheese Monster chicken tenders, plus the kimchi fried rice and a taro bubble tea for me. I admit I was too much of a chicken to try the Red Hot Pepper chicken but thoroughly enjoyed the Garlic Soy and Cheese Monster. The Cheese Monster was my favorite. Loved the dry cheese coating on the outside. The kimchi fried rice is always a fun surprise. It looks basic but is a meal must. And taro tea, I love it so! I was able to easily order our food via the CM Chicken app, and it was ready to be picked up quickly. This is such a great restaurant to have in our neighborhood!

My daughter has been on a Korean kick lately and told me to try some on my next business trip. So, on my recent trip to Louisville I found this place and was intrigued by the breadth of the menu. I ordered via UberEats so the service was quick as could be and the food was very hot when it arrived. From the pics online, the joint looks legit so I can assume the vibe is as would be expected. I ordered two apps and a build your own bowl, and the first two were great. The bowl, particularly the chicken, was subpar. The tteobakki (sp?) was one of the most unique and toothsome dishes I've ever eaten. The broth was savory, piquant, and borderline spicy, and I'm all about it. The mashed potato balls were crisp and quite filling, and were served with spicy mayo. The bowl, which I built with chicken and a curry sauce had very little Flavor and was VERY dry. If I order in-house and was was able to get extra sauce it would've been better. Overall, meh, but I'll try once more to verify.

Simple but great! Well fried chicken with flavor. Our group had no complaints! I also really liked the pickled radish. Came here on a whim and ended up truly enjoying it!

Loved it!! Great for casual lunch or dinner with family or friends. Reasonably priced and a vast menu! O got the plain chicken and order multiple sauces on the side. The hot honey wasn't very hot but delish. I did enjoy the garlic soy as well. Happy I got them on the side. I also ordered a bulgogi beef taco and it was amazing! Highly recommend. The kimchi was really flavorful, I just enjoy my kimchi to be a bit spicier. The team were welcoming and kind and patient with questions.

I was able to catch a quick lunch here one day when I was in the area. I really been wanting to try this place and I got their chicken tender and fries lunch special and it was really tasty. It was nice on the inside people were friendly, and I would be back.

Went on a Friday night and fairly crowded. Street parking (small side parking lot). Order at the counter. Nice staff. Waited about 10 minutes for food. Didn't enjoy the carbonara ramen. It didn't pair well with all the toppings and ramen was mushy. Then had T1 chicken-Garlic Soy. Nicely breaded and decent tasting. The Korean slaw and Korean potato salad didn't taste any different than regular slaw or potato salad. It was only ok.

We've been coming since opening day and oooooooh yes! That garlic soy tenders is my favorite! Always with the extra rice and sauce. Y'all know "guac is extra" but it's worth the price when you think about not having any. Love love the fruit teas and that have a nice selection of soju and desserts.

My new favorite chicken spot in Louisville! I'm so glad we have a Korean-Style fried chicken place like this one, and I hope it stays. I'm sitting here drooling and craving it right now. We just had it last week, but it'll likely be on the agenda this weekend for pickup so we have a delicious meal as we finish the last 4 episodes of When Life Gives You Tangerines(On Netflix-IU-Bogum-Watch). We've had a chance to eat quite a few things here, so I'll list them. Garlic Soy - I usually go with tenders everywhere, but let me tell you. CM has made me a drumstick fan. They're so freakin' good! Garlic Spicy - Good, but not the spice I was looking for. They're not mild and not the spiciest(the ones I had). The Garlic Soy seemed much more flavorful to me. Cheese monster wings - This is another one. I typically don't order wings with bones. That cheese dust whatever on these wings. My god! Garlic Soy drumsticks and cheese monster wings are the perfect flavor combo! Mep Snow - Garlic Spicy with snow onion in sauce - I tried these once. I went with the drumsticks and it's interesting. They're good. You see pictures and think you know how it will taste, but it tastes so much better than that. The way the onions stick to the sauce/chicken. I was surprised. Another win! Tteokbokki - Tteokbokki is tteokbokki is tteokbokki. It's good here, but I doubt I'll order it again unless I'm in a pinch. There are places to order it online for cheaper... it just feels awful ordering it at a restaurant and spending 10 or 12 dollars. Kimchi - Just give it all to me. I'll eat any kimchi anytime of the day. Rice - Same for rice. Cucumber Kimchi salad - I went with this for a side. Also, a decent side. I've made something similar to this at home. It's another love side. WISHES: The only thing I would change about this place is the ability to add extra single tenders, wings, or drumsticks. I'm not sure if logistics could make that possible, but if I could get 3 drumsticks(for the 9.95) and then add 2 cheese monster wings(for 2 or 3 dollars each)... dude! That'd be the best meal ever! They have other foods that I intend to try eventually(Curry, Bao buns, Udon, tacos). I can't stay away from those drumsticks for now. Now look at what you made me do... the drooling over this place. I'm going to have to change my shirt.
