I wouldn't stay there again if you paid for it! the room was dirty, and I have plenty of pictures to prove it. I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. The door was so flimsy. I thought someone was gonna break in , there were people standing in the parking lot talking, people feeding the birds off the balcony, breakfast that was free you could keep it! it was a couple of mini muffins, bread, yogurt and some Luke warm coffee!!! rooms are really in need of an upgrade. They are dingy and dirty!!! I felt completely unsafe staying there. went to the Kentucky Derby and paid over $200 a night to stay in this disgusting fleabag hotel.. the people at the front desk were yelling each other talking loudly and could care less that there were customers there and stood outside the front entrance, smoking Up a storm! thank you I'd rather stay in my car!!!

I wouldn't recommend them to the worst person in the world! The staff is all rude and acts like they are better then someone there are needles in garbage in the parking lots the staff all live at the hotel and the only one who is nice and helpful is the second shift clerk stayed a month hated it! it was like a homeless camp! if I could give a negitive star I would!

Worst hotel stay ever.Tv didn't work,burn holes in the covers and WP hair everywhere. I seen housekeeping but they were probably doing drugs instead of cleaning .They really need 0 stars but the breakfast was ok. Definitely spend more money somewhere else !!!

They only get 1 start because I can't select 0. So I reserved a room at this establishment using Expedia so my son could attend a football camp at the University of Louisville. Pics looked ok, and it was relatively close to the university. We arrive and check in. There is an additional deposit required to check in, first red flag, but ok. Get out keys and head to the room, and find a bowl of cereal in the fridge with milk. Ok, strike 2, but things happen. Then the ac doesn't work. So they moved us to another room, cool. Get to this room, and it smells like urine. I'm thinking maybe if the ac runs and air circulates, it'll get better. So I ran to a local Walmart to pick up some things, come back, and I swear smell is worse. So we find another hotel because this is beyond not acceptable at this point. When I go to check out and tell the front desk person why, I'm told I started in the room too long and can't get refunded and that I have to contact Expedia to get a refund of any kind. Reach out to Expedia, and they say I have to wait until the approver, or whomever, is back on Monday. Then I get an email stating that they refuse to refund me. I'm thinking there was confusion, and I clarified that I should be refunded for the night I didn't stay. They are now saying I stayed 2 nights! So I'm out 200 bucks four a room that smelled like urine. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS!!!

Because of work I'm in Kentucky, I needed a place to stay for the night and this was the closes thing. Very disappointed In this facility, here are some reasons why. 1 staff at the front desk charge a higher rate for a room, until you tell them " well on your website it's a different rate". 2 No smoking in the rooms? These rooms smell like cigarettes and marijuana and you will have respiratory problems if you don't run the AC none stop just to make it bearable. 3 rooms are very dirty, not vacuumed, counter tops not wiped, Used towels, not replaced or washed, bed sheets stained, not changed. 4 residents here like to loiter in the walkways for hours and smoke in the doorways all the time, people hanging out in the parking lot blasting their stereos, there are tones of other issues I no long want to think about. CANNOT RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IN ITS CURRENT STATE.

1st room had poop on the sink 2nd room I should have checked the shower long black hair front desk refused to give me owners number I said I'll call health department she said not the first time she came at me with a stick refused to give me name and Employee number so I took a photo and that made her mad Should be condemned

This was the worst bait and switch. The room and facilities were nothing like the online advertising. I was traveling and needed a place to take a break from driving. The next time that there is omnly a Days Inn around, I'd rather sleep in my car. Wyndham should be ashamed to have this place associated with them.

I stopped in Louisville on my way to New Orleans for a book signing. The front desk clerk was very friendly and checked me in with no problems. She even recommended a pizza place for me. The problem I had was with the location of the hotel, some aspects of the room and the top floor. The top floor thing was my own fault. I have trouble physically hauling stuff upstairs and this hotel was like the one I stayed at in Las Angeles that didn't have an elevator. But I forgot and didn't mention it, so that was on me. Luckily I now rent a car with a trunk so I'm not making near as many trips. The HUGE problem was that I went to stick the keycard in the door and it opened as soon as I touched it to the slot. I guess housekeeping failed to close the door all the way. I had the heebie-jeebies all night after that. There are a lot of men around, and one told me he stayed there a lot for work. I'm not saying any of them did anything wrong, but it can make a woman travelling alone uneasy. I felt unsafe walking across the lot to the convenience store. There were signs for "No hoodies" both there and on the hotel lobby doors, so I wondered if it was a high crime area? The room did have a comfy bed and a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Fridge was clean. I HATED the lack of plugs for electronics by the bed. This is one thing I really hope for. There was only a power bar behind the fridge. There were a few places that needed updating like where the carpet meeting the bath was ripped up and didn't look nice. The door to the room being open unnerved me so bad that I had trouble sleeping and was nervous even after I arrived in New Orleans the next day. It was a shaky start to the trip and even though all was okay and the room was mostly comfy, I wouldn't stay there again.I didn't like to have trouble plugging stuff in. My laptop doesn't hold a charge and I had trouble using it while in bed. The wifi was good and strong which with the bed would make it a good stay if I thought I could trust the area. Also, it is right by the airport. I'm comforted by outside noises, but this may bother some travelers. I paid half for another hotel at the end of my stay and it was superb. For what this one offers, the price point should be lower IMO. I'll note that I'm not one of those reviewers who give a hotel one star because there's a hair on the floor or expects luxury at a budget price.I hate those kinds of reviews where the reviewer expects everything to be perfect when they opt for a cheaper stay.

Don't do it! Not sure why I failed to consult the reviews on Yelp before booking, but rather I considered the reviews on Expedia. Those reviews were quite deceiving. I paid far too much, first of all. The photos on the Expedia app were beautiful. They showed remodled rooms. The reality is that they applied lipstick to a pig. The headboard and armoire were fairly new and clean; however the carpeting, curtains, fixtures, etc were quite old, worn and dirty. My sink was stopped up; therefore I had to use the water from the bath tub for everything. The traffic was incredibly loud. I could barely sleep at all. I gave two stars because the staff was friendly. Never again.
