This Hampton Inn is conveniently located in the Downtown Louisville area, which is in walking distance to plenty of restaurants. We had a nice welcome by guest services with snacks and bottled waters. In addition, the hotel has an indoor pool and gym. Let's not forget free breakfast! I was also able to have a lovely drink at the bar. The bartender was incredibly friendly and provided great service. Definitely a lovely stay, while I vacation away.

We had a great time in Louisville. The hotel was very clean and the staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They recommended great restaurants with great food. Conveniently located to walk the sites of downtown Louisville.

Needing to stay the night? Here we go. The hotel was built in 1984, so it's been around a minute. However, it was refurbished in August of 2020 so yay. Thought it's a lower tier hilton hotel it is defitnetly not that bad. Here are the bones. The beds were decent. There is no charge for parking. The room was clean. The bathroom was good with good water pressure, and the water got hot quickly. It's in downtown and if the guard roaming around the parking lot hia little golf cart don't inspire confidence I don't know what will. Down the block from Whiskey Row and half a mile from NULU market. Again, breath taking

Do NOT stay at this hotel. 33 minutes to get to your room because the elevators are all full. Crazy music from a boat next door. Sounds like a meth head carnival music. The phone in my room doesn't work. The hallway lights are from a runway to land a plane Terrible hotel!!

Brian, the manager of the Hampton inn is a Class act! So nice to be treated like a customer, hospitality has really faltered in recent years. Brian knows how to treat a customer!

Breakfast was awful. When we got there they were out of eggs, sausage and oatmeal. 8-10 people were in line for waffle machines. There was no water- only juice and coffee. Our room didn't have hand towels. We requested them at breakfast, returned to hotel at 7:15 pm, and our bed was made and we had fresh bath towels, but no hand towels or washcloths. We are diamond members and had parking permit to park in special parking spots for diamond only, and all but one spot was filled with non-diamond members. The employee made a point to tell us we had the special blue parking permit, but obviously no one actually monitors it. There are UPS planes flying over at all hours of the night. The AC unit was loud. Not a good experience!!

Nice size room, clean and fresh smelling. They make it a point to ask you to not to request daily cleaning and bed making and even offer 1000 Hilton reward points. This particular hotel ran out of shampoo but the front desk concierge forgave a day of parking fees to make up for it. All in all it's still a nice hotel. It is near hospitals and you will hear sirens all night bringing people to emergency y room.

Nice location. Easy walk to whiskey row. Staff is friendly. Room is clean. Only at 15 - 20% occupancy which is really weird for a major city. Big issues are noise outside of the hotel. Constant sirens and motorcycles. The other issue is the homeless and drug users around the city. Not their fault. It's Biden's America. A nice Hampton in a convenient location.

This location is right in the heart of down town Louisville, just slightly off the beaten path but within 1 mile walking distance of the Louisville Slugger Factor and Museum. It's also within walking distance of several craft and bourbon distilleries all of which you can get tours at including tastings. I love staying at Hampton's, but the one big frustration is their choice of carpeting on the floors as they don't play well with luggage wheels. They work, but require a little extra effort and when you got 6 bottle of bourbon packed inside, makes it that much more necessary to use muscle strength to drag it down the hall. The room I got was the double queen which is nice, but has little space for clothes, so I lived out of my suitcase the entire trip. I could hang them in the closet, but it's small and very narrow. Most narrow closets don't have doors that work all that great and require more effort to open and close. I encountered a few concerns that were quick addressed by the staff: (1) coffee not refilled; (2) coffee cups and sugars not refilled the following day; (3) plastic piece with sharp edges found under the sheets (found to be part of the linen folding machine. All were addressed and compensated in some manner. Thank you. I took advantage of their courtesy shuttle to get to various locations which helped tremendously especially on days where it was hot and I didn't wan to have to be stuck in the sun the whole day (I burn much quicker now-a-days than when I was younger). All drivers were quick to get me to my destination and all very friendly to hear about how your trip is going. For the price I was able to get my room, I would consider this location again as my concerns were addressed by staff. If you want quiet, DO NOT book here as you are located near a Fire Station and Hospital so expect sirens at all times of the day and night.

We spent two nights at the Hampton Inn on a Saturday and Sunday night leading up to Derby Week. There was obviously a basketball tournament Saturday night somewhere in town as occupancy appeared to be maxed out. Sunday was much more subdued. We arrived around 3:00 on a Saturday and were quickly checked in. Upon check-in I was notified the pool was closed. Traveling with a 12 year old, a closed pool is significant. The room overall needed some TLC. It wasn't terribly but could have been a little nicer/more fresh. I didn't notice the noises that others spoke of. Room did appear clean. I did ask twice for housekeeping and still didn't receive. Breakfast was very mediocre. Parking is $15.00 per night. Location is excellent and staff are eager to help. Be mindful there are a high amount of homeless near by but depending on the rate the Hampton may be worth a look.
