I plan and organize my family's bi-annual family reunion in different cities/states. This year, our reunion took us to Louisville, KY from July 25-27th. Pros- Sarah, Sales Coordinator - I worked with Sarah starting in January to create a room block for my event, which was scheduled for July 25th-27th. Sarah was very responsive and accommodating with requests, she provided weekly reports on how many rooms were reserved under our room block, as well as adding additional rooms, once we reached the max. The kids loved the pool and the staff was gracious enough to allow for 10 extra minutes at the end of one night. Debrah, from the hotel's restaurant/bar, was extremely cheerful, outgoing, helpful and just a delight! Every establishment should have a "Debrah", she's an asset!! Cons: All of the cons happened on-site and during our weekend stay, majority were resolved during our stay, however, the interruption to our weekend planned activities were very intrusive - and some make absolutely no sense, at least to me. 1. Parking Fee - the hotel charges a daily parking fee to EVERY room (although it is my fault because I overlooked this detail in the contract). It is up to the guests to let the front desk know that they do not have a car. The front desk staff does not reiterate this parking fee, doesn't ask for a license plate number, doesn't give a parking permit... just automatically adds this fee.. this, to me, does not make sense. 2. Room Issues - several of my family members had legitimate complaints, such as - an infestation of ants and bedbugs. While the one family member that encountered the bedbugs was accommodated - by moving to another room on a different floor. Apparently, the hotel was aware of the ant infestation and tried to remedy the problem on the day that most of my family checked in. Another one of my family members, who had reservations from the 25th-27th, was inadvertently charged for the 24th, although their reservation clearly said check-in on the 25th. One out of the two hotel elevators was "out of order" and had been out of order for at least six weeks, however, when I asked the front desk clerk how long it's been broken - he quickly replied one week. I learned that it was at least six weeks from a hotel guest. Not sure why the front desk clerk couldn't just say that, instead of making a number up... weird. Also, breakfast is not included, free coffee, but no continental breakfast... this is not on brand with almost every other Hilton that I've stayed out... so keep that in mind. There are, however, plenty of restaurants in the area. All-in-All, while our stay wasn't the worse, it definitely wasn't the best and it does make me rethink using the Hilton as my family's host hotel for future reunions.

Second stay here. It's been a little over two years and was delighted to have another wonderful experience. Service was friendly and it was a perfect stay. I received a Hilton Honors upgrade and the room was huge. Would definitely recommend this hotel and is a great option for the area and for those that want to stay just outside of downtown.

First class place. I stayed at three Hiltons this weekend in two different states, and this was the best one. The shower shoots out a ton of water, and the bathroom is really clean. The different managers were very nice. I would definitely stay here again. The Chow at breakfast is also really good.

I had a reservation I caught Covid had to spend two nights in the hospital, they. Refused to grant me a refund. I told them I could send a letter from my doctor. I wonder what they would have done if I tried to check in

Comfortable room. They didn't have free breakfast. Walls are pretty thin. I could hear the neighbors in great detail.

This was an awesome place. Setting up reservation, getting checked in and out, reasonable room rate, the staff was great, they made sure we had everything we need and was comfortable and checking to see if that everything was meeting our standards. The rooms were very clean very nice setup and love the sliding barn doors on the bathroom and the beds hit it right on the money. We slept good. It's been along time since we got a good night rest at a hotel. Yea I recommend this place. Oh they have hospital rates too if you have someone going to surgery.

Nice spot really cool people that work there so that makes the difference sometimes and really that's what it was all about because breakfast was just you know regular Continental so it is what it is and then staff made it worthwhile

I would describe it as minimalist room decor. Room was clean, and linens and towels were fresh. I used the weight room which is always superb at Hilton. I would stay again when needed.

I was most likely going to rate at 3 stars until this morning which convinced me to drop it to a 1. First, we could head almost everything I. Our room. I could hear, very loudly, every time the room above us used the restroom, flushed, and took a shower. There was also a gentleman one room over from us, who for two night, was screaming and moaning in what sounded like pain. The first night began around 9:30. We asked the hotel to check on him because he was screaming I'm (himself) going to die. The front desk said they would call which we later discovered never happened. At 11:00 p.m. I walked down again and asked a different person to check on him as his screaming was consistent. They sent a worker up, who could hear it in the hall. He then went back down and they called, we could hear the phone ring loudly. After the gentleman answered it he stopped for 15 minutes. Then continued to 1 a.m. This repeated the next night though we didn't go down because we knew they would do nothing. We also couldn't switch rooms because the hotel was full as every other hotel was due to college graduations. These alone made this 3 star at best. Lastly, we weren't warned that we would be charged $17 after tax per person for the "buffet" which consisted of cold scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage. I sat down this morning, grabbed a quick bite and then was brought a bill. I barely ate anything and had to pay $17. First, many hotels are free for more/better quality food but I do understand some charge. But $17 is robbery. If you want one hard boiled egg, $17. Just a piece of toast, $17. That is absolutely and utterly ridiculous. Considering everything we experienced, from the lack of sleep to the abysmal breakfast, there is a 0.0% chance we would ever stay at this place again.
