My group ended up here twice while we were in town for a long weekend - it's that good! The banana pudding flavor is simply the best - truly so flavorful and unique. (In fact, I ordered it for dessert at a nearby restaurant as well!) They have some great flavors - more traditional and unique - and moved through the line quickly. There is only a bit of seating, but overall a fantastic local ice cream spot!

Ice cream Wonderland [Louisville KY] We were hankering for some ice-cream and came across this shop located in downtown Louisville. There was some kind of gutter work going on in this part of the street so parking only available across. We were actually lucky to find one... Inside had a retro vibe with a couple of table seating. The menu had unique flavors and I did not notice any traditional or classic of any kind. I'm glad the team member was patient with me because I was thrown off by the fancy flavors. We tried the Golden Cookies & Cream (one each on a cone and a cup). I love roasted peanuts so I requested to have some sprinkled... then I was handed this (see pic) it almost covered the entire ice cream cone LoL! We checked in a little after 8:00p. The ice-cream was delicious and hit the spot on a warm evening. The creamy texture was simply divine. Review #3897

Louisville Cream is a wonderful ice cream shop with a fantastic wealth of flavors. Try any of their bourbon flavors! You might be surprised how hard the banana pudding hits as a flavor you don't know you need! (A "secret" to it is it is filled with crumbled vanilla wafers.) See what they can do with a vanilla! (It's not the "plain" flavor people always think it might be.) Watch out for wild seasonal flavors and truly fun experiments! (Check the cooler, perhaps, because sometimes there will pints left of past flavors not currently on the menu.) I always want to stand at the counter and taste every flavor on the menu. I know the staff is always kind enough to let me if I try, but I also know there is almost always a line behind me, and for good reasons. I like to get my ice cream cones topped with their toasted marshmallow option. It adds a little bit of flavor depth and it adds a little bit of entertainment to watch the marshmallows get toasted.

We finally tried Louisville cream. We took our family of 4 to get a birthday treat. We ordered an Ale 8 float, a s'mores sundae and a chocolate peanut butter sundae. The prices are a bit high, but if you can agree on sharing, the portions are very big! My only issue is that the inside is extremely loud. The voices echo and because of the small space, there isn't much room and tables are nearly touching each other. We will definitely be returning, but likely in the summer!

Cute little ice cream shop to stop in on a hot day. Have some fun, creative flavors that actually tasted good too. It was mega busy when we went to it's sorta hard to sit if you want to but otherwise a great little sweet treat place.

Line out the door and packed on the inside busy! Cute shop, and smells like heavenly waffles and creamy goodness! I got a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of the salted caramel cream. I am not a fan of the chocolate. But the salted caramel pulled through and was a delicious winner. I went with the pretzel cone since I was brace enough to test it. I like the salted cone, not a fan of the taste once bitten into the texture is thicker than expected but again the salt helped the chocolate flavor. Didn't get a photo of mine, maybe next visit. The kid got a Cookie Monster shake with biscoff and liked it! Godson got chocolate scoop on a waffle cone and Glo got the French vanilla on a waffle cone. Again the chocolate wasn't it for myself or godson, he happily ate his moms vanilla though lmao We absolutely love the pints we get at the store! So we found our way down to the shop, so many things to try so... we will come back!

Delicious ice cream and cute little shop! Water available. Clean. Seating outside too. Friendly staff! Only downside imo is $5 for 1 "kids" scoop is very steep - $27 for me and my 4 (young) kids to each be able to choose their own flavors. It was a generous scoop, though! I wish instead that it was a little bit smaller and slightly cheaper.

While at Bock Fest, an ice cream with my beer sounded lovely. I'd seen Louisville Cream promoting their black raspberry cookies and cream. It sounded unique and yummy ... it was okay. I know this is a favorite hot spot in Nulu and I will always recommend them as a local spot, but truly I find their flavors to be too subtle. If I want subtle, I'd order vanilla. Limited indoor seating. Always looks to have a long line but it's caused by the store layout. The crew moves you in and out quite fast. Pastries available in addition to ice cream. Also look for their pints at limited spots, including Kroger.

Small ice cream shop with delicious options. Smooth flavor, wonderful ice cream store smell. Prices were $6-$15 depending on what you order. My only complaint is the staff was not the most friendly. I hate to ever complain and maybe they were having a bad day, however it felt as if we were bothering them. I wouldn't hold this against them as like I said could just be a day so don't let that detour you from trying the delicious ice cream they offer.

This is such good ice cream spot! Such unique flavors and the texture of the ice cream is so smooth. The service is fast and friendly. Long lines but moved quickly. Small inside but they also offer pints to go.
