My family really fell in love with the Bats and Slugger Field this baseball season. We went to a half dozen games and would have gone to more if we could have. And we can absolutely say that both make Louisville special! About Slugger Field specifically, some things we love: * Easy parking if you want to pay for it. For most games, the lot did not fill up. And if you want to try and get free street parking, you can usually find that too. * Love the concessions, especially the local favorites. A game is not complete without buying a cookie from the Kizito Cookie Lady, and if you want other typical stadium food, it's plentiful around the stadium. * Buddy Bat! He's my kids' favorite! We bought Buddy Bat stuffed animals from the gift shop for the kids, and finding him each game is a must-do. One of my favorite memories from this summer was when my son drew him a picture, and he gave it to him at a game. * The variety of seating. We usually got seats by the field, but you can find seats that are shaded. You could also check out the grass seating area by the playground, outfield seating and cabana-like seating near the back of the field. * The playground! My kids love this playground. You definitely have to watch your kids if it's a busy night. The playground can get mobbed by so many kids at once, but at least there is also a smaller playset for younger kids. * We also loved all of the other activities, like the fireworks and themed nights. * Slugger Field is also a great venue for other events throughout the year, like the Taste of Derby! * Lastly, the team. We loved watching them play, and if we were sitting near the dugout and our kids had their mits ready, the players or coaches would sometimes slide us balls we could take home. I always feel like we're part of a Louisville community when we go to games. We'll be back next year!

Our recent visit was during the Party Animals tour. We were invited to a suite at the sold out event. Louisville Slugger has a parking lot, which normally holds most visitors during their home games. You can also find street parking nearby. Signage is well displayed for finding seats, concessions, restrooms, gift shops, and more. The big screen / score board provides up close views, announcements, and video of live events. Be forewarned the sun can be brutal on first base line during evenings. Although it's been around for years, Slugger Field has been well maintained. Many themes are hosted to make visits interesting and unique, and they also offer events for Thunder Over Louisville and Savannah Bananas. Check out their website for game days and times!

We are HUGE baseball fans and whether major or minor league we see a game in every city that has a team. The Louisville Bats game was a great game and the ball park was amazing. The staff are so friendly and I love that they have a "cash only" lane in the concession stand was great because we didn't have to wait. I had a small bag and had it ready for inspection (know before you go). Y'all! This is a great ballpark. Come, enjoy and watch the Bats win! Woot woot!

Not sure why this place isn't full all the time...regardless of a win or a loss, it is a beautiful park. Food is not bad, a couple of vegetarian options and a few Louisville made drinks (check out the bee's knees). It's really a great way to spend the day!!

Group of friends attended a Wednesday discounted senior night (ages 55 and up) for $11 (after taxes and fees added) with a game time of 6:35 PM in August. There was the temptation to stay until the end of the game because we could have walked the bases. However, we chose to depart around 8:30 PM during the 8th inning because an unseasonably cool breeze picked up and some of us were chilled. We enjoyed peanuts, cracker jacks, and Kizito cookies (chocolate chip and snickerdoodle). Prices are steep. No cash sales. We were all glad we'd had the foresight to eat at the attached restaurant beforehand. Nice venue and street parking is supposedly free after 6 PM. Some of us arrived earlier and had to pay $10 for adjacent lot and one person even had to pay $20 to park (parked nearby due to mobility issues)! So, do your research before you go or allow plenty of time to drive around if you want to save some cash. Property is well maintained. Seating is comfortable. Great audio and video able to be viewed from the majority of the ballpark. Another tip -- if you want to limit your sun exposure, the seats behind 3rd base are better than 1st base. The sunset will be to your back, rather than in your face.

This is the 2nd time recently that I have had the privilege to take my parents (especially my dad) to Louisville Slugger Field to watch the Louisville Bats. This stadium is so awesome! All of the employees, seriously all of them, are so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make conversation and ensure the entire experience is fun, safe, and entertaining. We felt safe and the facility is so clean. I love seeing how excited my Dad is to be there and how much he enjoys the game and those brats! Can't wait to return again and again.

Nice stadium (sadly our game was rained out) and the ushers and support staff were really nice. However the concessions are not fan friendly and neither are the concession workers. One got the feeling they were mad they had to be there knowing the game would get called off early (20 minutes before the start) but still no reason for their behavior. I will not be using my rain check because of these workers and how the team/stadium makes it very very difficult to redeem them. Should you game be rained out, just assume they took your money and you are just out.

This review is in reference to a ticket voucher I bought at COSTCO with a link to FEVO. DO NOT BUY THIS! FEVO is a GRIFT! Buy your tickets directly through the Louisville Slugger Field site. The tickets are the SAME price AND you can easily chose your own seats. If you call some nice person will answer the phone too! Looking forward to the game. DO NOT BUY WITH FEVO!!!

Amazing experience. It was mine and my sons first baseball game. We had great seats (row D seat 5&6) my son got THREE game balls because we were right by the dugouts and he was begging them for balls . My only complaint would be the price of things. We paid $10 for parking which wasn't too bad. $46 for tickets. $3 peanut bags they resell from Texas Roadhouse lol. $8 for three little scoops of ice cream. Around $7.50 for one Gatorade. The lines were super long so I'd get there about 30 minutes early or buy them online. The game was at 11:05 but we didn't sit down until 11:40 because we stood in line for a really long time. They let you pick the section you want. Which I found really cool. Overall it was a great experience. We loved it !!
